Hart’s Carpet Cleaning

I had an issue with my dog who is getting old and peeing all over my wool rugs. Hart’s came in and cleaned both rugs in such a professional manner. Easy to book, and on-​time. One area of my rug still had some odor — no fault of theirs — I’m sure my pup had been going to this one spot for a while. I believe the owner answered my call and immediately booked an appointment with me to give it a second pass, no charge. He was so kind and professional, and I’m so happy I went with them!

Our realtor referred us to Hart’s. The previous homeowners had dogs and teenagers. They were not kind to the tile or carpet. So we called Hart’s and they had an opening for 2 days later. Matt was on time and very nice. 2500 sq. ft and 3 hours later, the house looks brand new! We’re very happy and will use them anytime we need floor cleaning in the future.

Perfect experience. Got 3 rooms of carpets and 2 bathrooms done today. David, the owner, was responsive and easy to schedule with, accommodating my request for a fast turnaround time this week. Rudy showed up just before the appointment time. He was nice, hard working and cleaned up after himself as he worked. The floors look great!

I’ve used Hart’s now several times and — they show up on time every time, the rates are fair, the work is fantastic, and they’re some of the most honest, decent people I’ve dealt with in Austin. It’s so great to work with businesses that don’t lie, don’t flake, don’t try to cheat you — if it’s important to you to do business with truly decent people, call Hart’s.

Really did a great job! Our upstairs carpet had so many stains from spills and high traffic areas that we were pricing carpet. We decided to see if it was savable with a good carpet cleaning, but were not holding our breath. Wow were we surprised! It looks great. No need for new carpet yet after all! No extra charge for the heavily stained areas either.
They were on time and courteous. Will use them again for sure. I posted my before and after photos of one area.

I had a pretty simple job — just two large empty rooms where I wanted the carpets cleaned after I closed on my house.
Easy to make an appointment, good communication, and a clean and thorough job; all done for $ 80 + tax. Well worth it.

Great customer service and no hidden charges. The cleaning quality was not the best so I will be taking out my personal steam cleaner to re-​do some spots.
But will be using them again in the future.

Great customer service but not the best cleaning I’ve seen. First they do not vacuum the carpet. They picked up larger visible items before starting but assured me the cleaner would get the rest. I don’t believe it did as good as a quick pre-​vacuum would’ve done. Also they drench the carpet. I have had my carpets cleaned numerous times and never was it as soaked as this. Usually carpet cleaning companies will try to soak up as much moisture as possible. We let everything dry overnight and several areas were still damp in the morning. Also, they sprayed a deodorizer after they cleaned which was supposed to do away with the pet urine smell in one of the rooms. The urine was only from one pet accident. It did not help much at all and drenching the carpet seemed to make it worse even. Overall not impressed. However the technicians were very nice but were delayed 45 minutes. They were apologetic but it was a pretty big delay. Will look elsewhere next time.

Just used these guys again and their service was awesome again. They are really nice guys, Gerry came out this time and he was really NICE. It’s great to have someone come into your home who is cool and he was good with my dogs and kids which is awesome! They called half an hour before and were here right on time. Very efficient and my carpet looks awesome. Highly recommend!

Fantastic work, really good prices, friendly owner. Didnt charge extra for «this or that», just flat rate and did the best work. Highly recommend.

I know all of these 5 star ratings seem too good to be true BUT it really is true! Mr. Hart kept in touch during the afternoon as far as timing, he set his equipment up quickly and before we knew it he was done. There isn’t alot of carpet however Mr. Hart still requested a walk through for problem areas (stains, pet etc. of which we had none) and he was very respectful of the furniture and walls in our home. We were impressed with how easy and affordable it was to hire Hart’s.
He mentioned a job earlier in the day had lots of tile that was deeply soiled so he’d been running about 30 minutes late all day however he still showed up within the window he gave me. Wonderful and we will be return customers.

Hart’s is the best! My ceramic tile floor and carpeted areas were both pretty dirty, and I was so happy to come home to the whole house looking great. These guys are nice, skillful and reasonably priced– everything I wanted in a floor cleaning company. I’ll definitely call them Again.

Called Hart’s Cleaners a few weeks back and scheduled for a 4 bedroom cleaning. Well the day finally came to get the carpets done and man, my wife and I are so happy. David Hart (the owner) came out this morning and got it all done just over an hour. I’m sorry I don’t have before and after pictures but I will post after pics. Thanks again Dave

I was immediately impressed with this place when someone with a heartbeat actually picked up the phone the first time and every time I’ve called. All the other carpet cleaning places I tried were either straight to voicemail or an annoying menu option. I called around for several quotes and Hart’s was one of the most reasonable by far. They showed up on time and got straight to work. It wasn’t a huge job but they managed to finish my 1,100 SF condo in about an hour, right as scheduled. When they were done the difference was night and day. The carpet was several shades lighter, it was no longer matted down and the place didn’t smell musty anymore but smelled great. As soon as I walked through the premise to check out their work I immediately called Hart’s to hire them for another carpet cleaning job at a different unit. Need carpet cleaning in Austin? Look no further, these guys are it.

Excellent service!!! David (the owner) arrived on time and was very friendly. He and his employee did an excellent job. The carpet smells good and looks like new. I would recommend and use them again!!!

My wife and I used Hart’s to clean our concrete floors, all our grout, and to steam clean our carpeting. David Hart (owner) did the work himself and I have to say the quality of the outcome and his work are the best we’ve seen. We had some stubborn sticky areas (from rug underlay) that would not come up.
We’ve had two other companies out to do steam cleaning on our concrete floors and until Hart’s came today, these stains wouldn’t come clean. His work is quality, quick, he’s fair and certainly honest. We will definitely use him again. Floors and carpet look new again. A high recommend if you have a need for steam cleaning and grout cleaning.

I usually use Stanley Steamer until I found Hart’s Carpet Cleaning. Stanley Steamer is TOO expensive and very LAZY with their carpet cleaning.
I have been getting my carpets cleaned every 6 months for years. Last week, I was fed up with Stanley Steamer so I decided it was time to find a new Carpet Cleaning Service. I researched on Unilocal and found Hart’s!
Hart’s Carpet Cleaning is AMAZING! They came to my apartment yesterday. The carpet cleaner’s name was Jerry. Jerry was wonderful and very considerate of my small dog as well! Jerry made sure that I was happy and took the time to move around some of my furniture. Stanley Steamer does not do any of that by the way…
I have a 2 bedroom apartment (about 1,300sq ft) w/​2 large closets and a large living room. To clean the carpets in my entire apartment, it was only about $ 110.00! If I would have went with Stanley Steamer again, I would easily be paying over $ 300.00! I don’t know how or why I did that for a couple of years with them. What a waste of money!
My carpets look and smell wonderful! I will be using Hart’s Carpet Cleaning services from now on as long as I live in Austin. Also, I will be requesting Jerry because he is wonderful!

Had my carpet cleaned today… My house smells AMAZING. He was in and out and done before I could blink, and didn’t leave one drop of water, or dirt in my home. It was like he had never been here, except my stinky carpet was magically freshened.
Edit: a few days later I got down to smell my carpet where I had the serious stains. I still smell the faint dog urine smell (I have dogs and there were dogs here before) but overall I’m still keeping my high review. I think next time I will ask for heavy duty coverage of that high traffic, dirtier area.

I am really, really impressed with these guys.
I sent an identical email to 3 carpet cleaning companies on Unilocal,all with excellent reviews. The email detailed the exact size of the carpeted bedroom to be steam-​cleaned, as well as condition of the carpet (some pet stains). I also asked that they clean an 8×10 poly area rug.
2 of the companies responded with quotes in the $ 187 – 222 range (possibly more, depending on the material of the rug).
$ 187−222+ for ONE master bedroom and an area rug that was hardly soiled? It seemed really excessive.
Then Hart’s contacted me. They said they would charge only their minimum ($ 80) for my bedroom, which meant they were basically doing my area rug for free. I could hardly believe it, but I trusted the Unilocal reviews and was glad I did.
Hart’s did a wonderful job. I can’t remember the name of the guy that came out, but he was super-​friendly and thorough. He paid extra attention to the places with pet stains and was nice enough to move some of the furniture on my area rug. The carpet looked (and smelled) great when he was done.
Even after drying, only two small spots reappeared and I took care of those by hand. The pet stains are nearly undetectable.
I will contact these guys again and again whenever I need my carpet cleaned!!!

David answered the phone personally and the job was scheduled promptly.
Matt came out, was courteous and gave me great recommendations. The carpet now looks as good as new.
