GTL DJ Services offers professional event entertainment in the Austin, Texas, areas. With more than 20 years of experience as a club DJ and five years working as a mobile wedding DJ, Doug and his staff have honed the craft to make sure all of your guests have fun.

History

Established in 1997.

Doug started country dancing as a kid when his parents took him to the local Texas Dancehalls for family night. Doug continued to dance and when he began to frequent McCabe’s in WA, he decided to join their dance team. From there, he found his true music passion in being a DJ.

Doug’s years of experience have allowed him to hone his craft in such a way that ensures everyone at your event has a fun and enjoyable experience. Doug’s music collection is diverse, and it includes traditional country favorites, Texas country, mainstream country, hip-​hop, Top 40, pop, rock, and lounge (Sinatra, Bublé, Bennett, etc). Doug can provide you with recommended venue set up, lights, dance lessons, and of course, a ton of great music! Business Owner

Doug Harwell was raised in Texas and joined the Navy at the age of 17. He started his DJ career while stationed in Everett, WA after a friend persuaded him to get off the dance floor and behind the DJ booth. Doug has been a favorite of the local clubs in Washington and California since.

After moving back to Austin, Texas with his family, Doug has transitioned to providing music and dance lessons for private events such as weddings, parties, and company events.

Doug started country dancing as a kid when his parents took him to the local Texas Dancehalls for family night. Doug continued to dance and when he began to frequent McCabe’s in WA, he decided to join their dance team. From there, he found his true music passion in being a DJ.
