My experience was so bad I thought to myself multiple times… «This MUST be a joke» First, I attempt to order single slices online, among other things. This was something that I was capable of selecting and ordering through their online system. They call me to tell me I can’t get single slices and that it’s an error on their web site. Wow. Might wanna fix that guys, but whatever I’ll just order a full pizza right no big deal right? So I call back and say hey ya know… I want to update my order and it was like this whole ordeal seemingly to cancel or amend the order and change it. Finally she quotes me a total and a time of 35 minutes. … nearly an hour later I call, concerned perhaps there was a miscommunication or she failed to put my order in. She tells me so sorry, a driver is out with it, should be there in literally 5 minutes. … 20 minutes later. I call again. She tells me a driver should have dropped it off and that she’ll call the driver and call me back in 5 minutes … 20 minutes later I call back and she said the driver told her that he delivered it so she didn’t call me. Except he didn’t. So he either delivered it to the wrong person who signed my credit card… or is completely lying. THEN she doesn’t even offer to resolve it and remake and send out my order. She just offers me a credit and refund and makes up all these excuses about new people. Iget it, it’s hard when people are new. But it’s a Sunday night at 10pm and there’s absolotely no excuse for me to wait for THATLONG and not get my order. It was a good 2 hours in total… and that’s the time I’m counting AFTER placing the updated order with her after the online fiasco. It’s just completely Inexcusable barring some legitimate disaster. Especially considering I am only a mile away. I took the refund and refused the credit because I will not be ordering from here ever. Not even for free, it’s not worth the hassle. In hindsight… why the heck didn’t I demand a refund much sooner? It was clear there was nothing being done to get me my order. This just another example of appalling customer service that seems to be a real thing in Austin. As for the food… I cannot say, since they failed to ever deliver it to me.

TERRIBLE!!! not one thing right for delivery. it took over an hour when i live only a few blocks away. i ordered a thin crust veggie pizza only to open it up and find a meat covered pizza including anchovies. disgusting! and the crust looks like it is cardboard. when i called and spoke to the manager about what happened he just said that they were super busy. I like Gatti’s Pizza. I’ve only ordered from this location, probably 3 or 4 times, but it’s less expensive than all the other chain pizza places that I’ve ordered from and the pizza is much better and you get more. And it tastes pretty good the next day. Basically any large pizza is 9 bucks, has been for a while, so I generally get a combo or veggie pizza. I can’t complain about the pizza at all. It’s not East Side Pies or Homeslice Pizza, but it’s also a third of the price. If you’re hungry, and poor, this Gatti’s Pizza is the way to go.
