I was ignored when I came in, ignored as I shopped the denim, they weren’t that busy. I walked by two associates who said nothing. I still bought a pair of jeans. But I was planning on buying 3. Since no one explained the different fits or helped me find a size – I left with less than I had intended. I’m not sure if there will be a next time.

This GAP location is the best I have gone to so far. Great selections, very organized and amazing deals. I scored two sweaters for less than $ 25 that I was planning to purchase online at normal price and probably would’ve costed me $ 90 or plus.

Today, July 17, 2013, at 3 pm, I was waiting to make a purchase while 2 cashiers were waiting on a young blond lady. It looked like there was a problem with her purchase. I stood there a few minutes and 2 young white men came up behind me also wanting to make a purchase. One of the cashiers, a dark haired lady, looked around me and told the 2 young men they could go to the other cashier desk because there’s no waiting at that one. My jaw dropped. Was I invisible? One of the young men was nice to ask me if I wanted to go first at the other cashier desk. I said no because the cashier wasn’t talking to me. Both cashiers just ignored me and kept working at the cash register. Finally, the young blond lady told the cashiers to wait on me and she could wait. The dark haired cashier gave an exasperated sigh and took my item. I asked her if I was invisible to her. She didn’t answer and told me to swipe my card. If my son didn’t want the jeans I was buying I would have walked out. Because I am Hispanic, I can only conclude I experienced a discriminatory act. I will never shop there or at any other Gap related store.

Ok, so I may be a little biased because I know some of the people who work here, but I love this location. I go to the mall a lot of the time specifically(and only) to go to this Gap. I have always encountered friendly sales people here when I needed help. The dressing rooms are clean and orderly. I don’t have much to complain about other than I wish they had a bigger sale area!

The customer service at this particular GAP is APPALLING — the woman manager who is always there is like DOINGME A FAVOR to wait on me – always with«short» answers and comes across judgmental — for instance I asked if Banana Republic was still in the Arboretum and she said«NO ! They moved more than THREE years ago to the Domain» — like I was an idiot for asking. I only go to that one cause it’s easy to park, but I don’t get who is doing the hiring for that location !!!

Worst customer service experience Ive had at the mall. There is a huge Columbus Day sale this weekend. When I went in this afternoon, there werent many people in the store at all. Ppl working there didn’t stop their conversations with Other coworkers to acknowledge you. I had a stack of 9 or 10 items in my hands and even tho several gap staff walked by me, no one offered to start a room. So I decided to try on what I had. When I got to the dressing rooms, two employees looked at me like I interrupted an important conversation. One pointed me to an open room and let me walk my stuff in without counting it or sorting it. As someone who worked in retail, I was shocked by the terrible customer service. Ridiculous.

I was shocked at the lack of professionalism and personality of the Gap employees at this specific location. I have never had anything but a positive experience with the Gap company, however, entering this store felt like a cardboard wasteland. I will buy my moderately fashionable basics elsewher efrom now on.

Good luck with any customer service — no one greeted me and the cashier seemed too engaged in conversation with other employees to acknowledge me.

It’s an easy place to shop with nice clothes at good prices. I don’t like shopping for clothes, so I try to make it a single stop when I do. I also like to be able to make it in and out of the store in under 15 minutes. Good luck doing that at a big department store. There is a good selection here and while I usually end up just buying a couple things, I’m always happy with what I get.

I hadn’t bought anything form the Gap in years but I was in the market for new jeans yesterday and their flashy new denim advertisements drew me in. I ended up buying a pair that I really love but the whole process was an exercise in trying to figure out what the fuck every employees problem was. 1. No one greeted me when I came in the store even though there were two employees folding clothes at the front displays. 2. I was ignored while trying to get someone’s attention at the entrance to the dressing rooms so that two employees could finish their conversation. 3. When I needed another size I had to flag down a guy who was so disinterested in helping me I actually thought«wow maybe I am being demanding and I shouldn’t have bothered him.» 4. When I left the dressing room with the pants I wanted and the ones I didn’t and asked the guy working the dressing area if I could hand him the ones I didn’t want he seemed really annoyed and sighed and said sure. 5. When I paid and left there was no thank you or goodbye. I’m not asking for everyone to down a bottle of valium and plaster a permanent grin on their faces for me but I haven’t felt that unwelcome in a business in a really long time. Please stop with the aloof, elitist attitude. I’m not bothering you, I’m a customer and I need the minimal amount of assistance to get in and get out.

I use to do a lot of shopping at «The Gap». My favorite blue jeans jackets and pants all came from there. I bought a Gap Branded(& labeled) belt from this location, I wore the belt home from the store(my mistake is I tossed the receipt along with the shopping bag). Two weeks later the belt buckle rivets came loose and now the belt was useless. I took it back to this location and was told that without a receipt I could not exchange or return anything. The belt has the words«The GAP» it big letters on the inside and back and on the buckle. It was obvious that it was not made anywhere else or by anyone else. And there are identical belts still on the racks. I tried talking to the store manager but was informed that this was store policy and no exceptions could be made. I have never been back since and refuse to buy anything for anyone with the words«The GAP» on it. They lost a long time customer.
