I literally trust Alicia with my cats more than I would most of my family. She’s taken care of them since they were less than 3-​months-​old and had just been fixed and she’s been literally perfect every time. She also takes care of bringing in the mail and watering our plants making our travels as pain free as possible.
Beyond the simple fact that she’s great with pets and incredibly dependable, she does a bunch of things that just make her stand out beyond any other experience I’ve ever had with a pet sitter. First, she sends periodic texts, e-​mails and/​or photos of our cats while we’re gone. Not every day, but often enough that we’re reminded that they’re happy and in good hands.
Second, she has other pet sitters that she uses when she has to travel and she arranges for the to take care of our cats even if she can’t make it or can’t take care of them the whole time we’re gone. If she trusts them to take care of her pets, I trust them to take care of mine.
Last, she’s a trained vet-​tech, so she actually knows what to do if something goes wrong. She even has a simple form she asks you to fill out with emergency contact information for the pet’s vet and for an amount of money you authorize her to spend on your behalf if she can’t reach you.
I truly can’t imagine a better pet sitter.

After many trials and errors with pet sitters, We found Alicia, and she is the best and most dependable I’ve found four my 4 furry friends.

Alicia at Fauna Pet Services is the best pet sitter we’ve ever had. Not only is she caring and loving with our pets, but also is attentive to detail and extremely reliable. We’ve never had someone who was so thorough and wonderful with our babies. We have depended on her since 2006 and have never considered anyone else.
Alicia also was amazingly considerate of one of our dog’s poor health, and attended to all her needs — medicine, extra help moving around, while also giving her plenty of love. It was a relief to know Alicia was around to take care of everything while we were gone. When our two dogs passed in rapid succession in late 2008, she was amazingly sweet and supportive of us, taking time to tell us what our girls meant to her. That kind of attention and love is what Alicia is about .
We also have a Goffins cockatoo, and have felt that only Alicia, given her specialized experience in avian care, has been able to deal with her. All other petsitters have shown some fear of having to take care of a bird, but Alicia was immediately comfortable and our bird instantly became found of her new caretaker.
I can’t imagine having to utilize anyone else. If you want the peace of mind that someone is looking out for your pets as you would your own, Fauna Pet Services is the only place to go to. Alicia rocks!

Alicia has watched our 3 dogs several times now — we are thrilled with her service! All our dogs are unique — one is 14 and requires special pills and gentle loving, one is rambunctious and is a challenge to control when going for a walk, one is insecure and needs a bit of coaxing to feel comfortable and relaxed. She is GREAT with all three. When we entrust our pups to Alicia, we are confident that they’ll be lovingly cared for. She keeps in touch with us and lets us know how things are going on a daily basis. We get a note upon our return… we just really like Fauna Pet Services!

Really reliable, attentive petsitting. My cat has had a lot of health problems that get worse whenever we go away. Alicia is always great about contacting us if she has any concerns, and we can tell she makes our cat comfortable based on her reports of how the visits went and how much less freaked out our cat is when we get home than with other petsitters.
