Pawstin

I used Pawstin for 8 months to walk my new puppy, Barkley. Samuel and Tanner are the best! Unfortunately, they moved out of my area and can no longer walk my pup :(
But to others considering using Pawstin – this is a great service. You receive a notification every time a walk begins and ends along with a report of how the walk went. They would also text me tons of pictures of my dood. Sam and Tanner helped take such good care of my dog. They took him out for extra time, took him to events downtown, and had him playing with other dogs. They were also very accommodating if I had to add or cancel a walk last minute. They have even kept my dog when I’ve gone out of town. They also were there to answer all my annoying dog questions (I am a first time dog owner). They definitely went above and beyond the call of a dog walker.
The owners were also very flexible and easy to communicate with. I can’t recommend Pawstin enough. Thanks for everything!!!

Pawstin is a great company run by two very caring and cool people. My dogs are on the same schedule as my daughter, so when she is with me, that are as well. This makes for a very needy couple of pups. There is no way I would be able to get them the exercise and bio break they need during the middle of the day without Pawstin. Each of the walkers I have had are real pet people and Romeo and Juliette are in very lucky to have Pawstin as a mid-​day play date. Flexible, consistent, safe, friendly and a great value.

Brian and Dominique are the nicest people I have met. You can tell that they are crazy about dogs and love what they do. They are extremely flexible and causal and so easy to work with.

I *never* write reviews but I have to say how awesome Pawstin is. You can really tell the difference in quality of service from Brian and Dominique (and the whole Pawstin crew!)
The short version: Pawstin took care of my dog with the love and affection for my little guy Crackers AND with professionalism and ease that made ME happy too. After using other dog sitters/​walkers of various experience, I would never go back to anyone else and wish that Pawstin could open a branch in California where I live now!
The details: Brian and Dominique basically do this because they love dogs — not for the money. It’s super obvious. You can see it in their Facebook and in the texts they send you as the owner how much they genuinely love each and every dog. I got a new puppy, moved to a new city with no connections, and started a new job all in a month and so having Brian and Dominique be so awesome was so wonderful and lucky!
They came every day and Crackers really enjoyed hanging out with the other dogs. His manners got better around other pups and on the leash, and he was SO much happier! I mean visibly a change in how much he barked and whined — he was just happier to hang out with other dogs!
They use the easiest system called Pet Check technology so you get super easy billing (with credit card too!) that lets you know exactly when they are in your home — they always walked Crackers the right amount of time and often up to 2 and a half hours! They are super professional and respectful, always responsive to communication via text, email, phone. I just can’t say enough positive things about Pawstin!
I had hired a couple of people off of
— one was fine but always left her food trash in my house and wore her shoes on the carpet (I’m a clean freak) but the other was a nightmare! Would cancel at random and then raised her prices by 50% !! They also needed checks and didn’t always show up at the right time and sometimes didn’t walk him enough.
Pawstin never had a problem AT ALL and are amazing communicators and wonderful people — the type you’d invite to your wedding! I wish them all the best and wish Crackers could join them every day!

I wish I could give these guys more stars. Pawstin is the best, and has been an incredible blessing in helping my husband and I take care of our pup, Murph.
Beyond just the standard walking régime, Sam and Tanner ALWAYS make Murph feel like a million bucks. Extra playtime, treats for his birthday (!!), lots of photos during their walks, and constant communication when things may go awry; like if he got sick, or if he seemed lethargic, or if he had the best day ever with all of his friends — they are just really great and I cannot recommend them enough!

I’ve had one of Pawstin’s dog walkers taking my dog, Ochiko on midday group walks for a couple months now. The service is absolutely unbeatable and my walker, Samuel, goes above and beyond just providing a walk.
My dog has separation anxiety and Samuel has been invaluable in helping me address the problem. Just to name a few of the ways that Samuel has gone above and beyond: He’s cleaned up tipped over trash and puppy mayhem, suggested anxiety solutions that have been working wonders, and always communicates with me the things he’s is noticing.
In addition to all that, he alerted me to the fact that Ochiko had worms! A fact that I had not been observant enough to notice on my own. A huge Thank You goes out to Samuel and the whole Pawstin dog walking team. The service is the most competitively priced in Austin and goes above and beyond all my expectations.
P. S. — The PetCheck technology that lets me know, where the walk goes, as well as when and how long service lasts is awesome. I love the photos I get too! Makes my work day so much better.
