Moving boxes: Our used moving boxes are 40% less than new boxes. We conveniently deliver to your doorstep and after you move. We will pickup and pay you for the used boxes. You can also buy and sell used boxes at one of our retail stores. online, by phone, or thru a retail store «We have a box for that !»

Shipping supplies: Over 200 sizes of stock boxes. A box for your guitar, golf clubs, computer, or fine china we have a box for that. bubble wrap, packing peanuts, tape and much more will make sure your products arrive safely. We sell to UPS stores, PakMail stores, moving companies, self storage companies, universities, gov’t agencies, and non-​profits. please inquire about our special wholesale pricing for businesses.

History

Established in 1994.

EcoBox was founded in 1994 with a stack of used moving boxes, a Buick Riviera, a storage shed and a great idea. Why not sell new and good used moving boxes to customers and save them money? For the past 15 years, EcoBox has been doing just that and much more.

As the business began to grow, customers began asking for other products, such as packing peanuts, bubble wrap and other sizes of boxes. We saw a need to meet these requests so we began to carry more and more items which customers requested while keeping our overhead low and buy in large quantities direct from manufacturers, and then we pass the savings on to you.

EcoBox now stocks more than 150 different sizes of boxes, tape, bubble wrap, packing peanuts and hundreds of other items for moving and shipping. We can also service your custom orders complete with printing. We offer free next day local delivery and/​or pickup at a retail store. EcoBox also offers special pricing to our business customers.

Business Owner

My background is in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas in Austin (class of 92′). After graduation, I was employed by the 3M company for 6 years. At 3M, I was in charge of optimizing processes within 3M to reduce waste and energy. I have tried to apply these same principals to operating EcoBox as we are always looking for ways to reduce both waste and energy. We do this for environmental reasons as well as profitibility reasons. The «reusing» of used boxes is a perfect example of saving energy, resources, and money for our customers.

Our goal is to expand the EcoBox concept thru franchising in the next 5 years.
