Love all the breed specific items.

I found out about Dog Stuff when they had a small booth at Pet Fair at the Cedar Park Bark Park earlier this year … they have has some really great and unique items and was happy to hear they had a physical location as well as the online webstore, dogstuff (dot)com. I have two small dachshunds and was even more thrilled to learn they would be at the Buda Wiener Dog Races with all their wiener schwag. I didn’t really get a chance to shop their booth at the Wiener Races this year, because it was so crowded (business was good for them there) and I was with other people who wanted to keep moving. Anyway — yesterday, I finally got a chance to go buy their retail store to pick up a gift for a fellow dog lover friend’s birthday. Holy Dog, they have a LOT of stuff in this store. It’s awesome! They have the best breed-​specific gifts you will ever find! They have specialty items you will not find in any PetsMart or PetCo. They sell stuffed animals of just about all the top breeds and every kind of gift item you could ever think of (cards, ornaments, wall art, pillows, blankets, rugs, ceramics, keychains, glassware). You can shop their online store, but if you need something last minute as I did … the retail store is a great option. The picture here on Unilocal just shows one room of product, — there were actually about 3 rooms, which I had taken some pix to post. The two people there who assisted me — Joseph and Paul — were extremely helpful in going into the stockrooms to pull out more items for me to look at for the breed I was looking for. They were very kind and even though it was close to closing time, I didn’t feel rushed at all … there were completely fine with me being there past 6pm. I have many dog lovin’ friends and this will be the place I go for gifts for them, not the big box stores — no way. The items here are unique and priced well.

If you’re vaguely aware that you need something for your dog, but you don’t know exactly what to get, go to Dogstuff. You can’t go wrong, and you’ll probably save money because you won’t wind up buying a bunch of junk that you won’t use.
This store is absolutely uncanny — they ONLY sell the best stuff, stuff that experienced dog people who’ve tried it all, would choose. For example, they only carry a few kinds of leash, but they’re my favorite leashes — comfortable and durable. They only carry a few varieties of dog treats, but they’re treats that work great for training! Dog toys? Again, they’re all the toys that I buy for my own dog.
Because they run an online business as well, they’re able to stock obscure items I was absolutely shocked to find in a brick-​and-​mortar store — things like stripping knives and Anxiety Wraps.
The rest of the store is filled with gifts for hardcore dog people — Christmas ornaments in every AKC breed, embroidered pillows with Corgis on them, etc. Not my thing really, but if you’re looking to grace your tree with a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever or you want a coffee mug with a picture of a Gordon Setter on it, here’s the place to get it!
