She knows the builders in town and can tell you who is doing the right and best work and of course who to be wary of as well. Her years of experience play a huge hand in that. She and her team are prompt and made us feel like we were their number one priority with us well knowing that she is busy and has a ton of clients!
Home buying can be scary and tedious but Diane made all of that easy for us and took care of every detail, we felt like we had someone watching out for us every step of the way! Her company is more of a family style, you will not feel like you are just another number like some of the other larger companies in town. You can’t put a price on that!
I would recommend her to anyone that I know and already have!

I bought a house from Diane back in May (she was the seller’s agent, not mine). She just wanted to dump this property to get it off her hands as it had been on the market for around 200 days so she dropped the price from $ 2.3m to $ 1.5m!!! I stepped in immediately to buy it. Diane mispriced the house by so much (below value) that the sellers didn’t even let her come to closing. The closing company told me that they have seen a deal this ‘dumb’ since the market crash of 2008 – 9. The house is worth $ 2.3m and I paid $ 1.5m including furniture. The Austin tax records have it valued at $ 1.9m. After closing I asked Diane for the pictures of the house (that she took for marketing) and she wanted $ 600 for the pictures! I said no thanks and just got them online at slightly lower quality. Diane also changed the date for my closing inspection of the house every day until 2 hours before closing (It was supposed to be 5 days before closing)!! Reason being is the sellers were stealing lots of the furniture I bought in the contract (I bot it furnished) and they didn’t want to get busted. Diane was no help. Diane promised to help me get acquainted with the house as the sellers were so angry at the sale they didn’t show me how anything worked. Diane failed on this promise. I’d give her zero stars if possible and like John R said in his review BEWARE. She’s awful. Too bad a tree smashed into her office during the May storms = Karma!!!

My partner and I LOVED working with Diane Dopson! We started out on our journey to find a new blended family home and Diane met our challenge! She is so knowledgeable about the different neighborhood pockets of Austin and has a keen sense of listening to our needs and desires in a home. Diane is a superior communicator… I can’t remember waiting more than 10 minutes for a response from her on my relentless requests. I felt like I had a friend working on my side at all times, easy to text and she always shared an unbiased description of the property to help me narrow down my viewing list. We asked to see several properties and Diane always found ways to fit in the showings during our tour days, which she scheduled at our convenience. Once we found the perfect home for us, Diane gracefully pushed to complete our sale… finding solutions to the challenges that are common in this competitive market. Even after our close, Diane was a huge resource for service providers and a liaison between us and seller… always available to help get us settled into our new home.
It is easy to see why Diane Dopson has successfully been in business for so long here in Austin… a true professional with integrity and heart to go the extra mile!

We stayed at a property for a month that was managed by Diane Dopson properties. They were completely professional in everything they did and created a wonderful experience. The house was super cozy. We live in Austin, but are living in vacation rentals and have been for over 6 months now. We’ve stayed at 10 homes, and the home managed by Diane Dopson properties was by far the most well done with the best customer service. Everything was high quality — from the pillows to the throw blankets, soft and comfortable was the trend. It truly felt like a hotel experience in regards to the feeling welcome! They even left a personalized welcome guide to the area.

LOVE, LOVE Diane Dopson! When my husband and I decided to buy income properties in Austin a dear friend recommended Diane to us. We immediately were impressed by her professionalism and knowledge of Austin and the real-​estate market there. She has helped me find two outstanding properties and was my realtor on both purchases.
Diane is also my leasing agent on both properties and has been for a few years now. She has leased every unit in both my buildings numerous times. She has always found me the most fantastic tenants by doing her due diligence in the leasing process. She conducts thorough background and references checks.
Additionally through her guidance I have been able to command top leasing prices for the units.
In addition to Diane’s expert help, her assistant Jamie is stellar. Very helpful, nice, professional and knowledgeable. They are both always willing to go the extra mile. Not only would I recommend her to my friends, I already have.

BEWARE… This broker stuck me with a nightmare tenant while acting as my leasing agent. Had to sue for fraud and misrepresentation. It was obvious from the beginning he was going to be a problem, but they assured me he would be fine. They did not represent my best interest or do their job by sticking me with this tenant. They misrepresented his character to me and had me call his
buddies for references. They did little to no background checking.
Now I had multiple complaints from neighboring condo owners and occupants.
He and his friends have continued to make loud noises, party and disturb occupants.
They have threatened the security guard to the point where he had to call 911.
Yet, I had to pay $ 1,600 to have this wonderful person occupy my real estate.
Please do not use this broker for anything other than buying and selling.
They have violated my trust, never to be regained. I hope I save you the misery I am going through and will be going through.
