There’s also a full bar, a great kids’ menu, a touch of Texas, a lot of soul and an Austin flair that brings lots of healthy choices including locally-grown organic veggies, gluten-free options and pasture-raised organic eggs at our New Orleans brunch. All our food is made fresh-to-order and we receive fresh seafood every day. Join us and see why we’re the best kept secret in South Austin! Check out our website to see our dinner, weekday lunch specials or New Orleans Brunch menus and call us today to book a reservation!

History

Established in 2002.

Being from South Louisiana, I knew South Austin could use a place just like this — great food and a staff that really tries to get to know our guests and take care of you like a friend and a neighbor. It’s a casual place with serious food and friendly service — you can bring the kids, have a drink from the bar and just relax or you can show up with your special someone and have a romantic dinner on the patio.

We guarantee your experience 100% — everything from your service to your food. If ever anything is not to your liking, let us know and we’ll make it right. Cheers!

Our goal is to treat you like a friend, to let you kick back your feet, relax and feel at home. Not to sound too forward, but we’re looking for a relationship and we want to keep you coming back and telling all your friends about the best kept secret in South Austin — that little restaurant with a big soul and some surprisingly delicious Cajun food and drinks. Bön Appetit! — John Haug
