Cilantro Lime

Everything we have ordered and cooked so far has been really delicious! I highly recommend Cilantro Lime!

We made our first meal from Cilantro Lime for lunch today. The Piri Piri chicken is DELICIOUS! Yummy marinade allowed for the chicken to cook perfectly in the oven and the crispy roasted kale was so good (why haven’t I roasted kale before now?). We are excited to try the other meals from our first order. Ordering is simple and the photos on website are lovely (a big perk for me because I like to know what the final product should look like). Our delivery came the same day that I ordered. All ingredients are neatly packaged and labeled. The instruction card is simple and easy to follow. I love to cook, and I don’t mind going to the grocery store, but I dread the planning/​deciding what to make. Cilantro Lime solves my cooking dilemma and the food is AMAZING!

A big part of me procrastinating cooking at home is time. There’s the grocery shopping part, and the actual cooking part. I tried out Cilantro Lime to see if it could solve both problems.

this past Sunday. Ordering was easy and set our delivery window to be 3−5pm. The food arrived at 4pm.
This was the first time that either myself or my girlfriend had ever cooked lamb. A benefit of Cilantro Lime that I noticed after the fact was that we did not have to think of what to do with lamb in order to try it. That was already done for us, which was super convenient. The food came with a recipe card, which also included pictures, so that helped a lot. All of the ingredients were already prepared: the garlic cloves were peeled, the portions of spices, and the bell peppers were already cut and in a jar; all delivered in an insulated bag.
Another thing I noticed is that the recipe knows you are making a meal and knows how to consolidate your time and multitask. The potatoes in the oven would take the longest, so the recipe told us to start those first, and work on the sauce and lamb while they roasted.
All in all, the experience was great and I really enjoyed the food. The stress of planning and making dinner was removed and we had a great meal.

Cilantro Lime is great. I love how they cater to a variety of diets! The ingredients are always super fresh and the recipes are constantly changing. They even pick up your used containers the next day! I can’t wait for my next order.

I loved my experience with Cilantro Lime! The bag was right at my door and everything was still cold. Every single ingredient is labeled on a cute little lime sticker telling you exactly what the item is! There is a nice recipe card inside the bag explaining the accessories you need and the instructions to make the dish. It was easy and delicious — customer for life!

Cilantro Lime is awesome! All of their recipes are really interesting and unique. I appreciate the global flavors and ingredients. For $ 20 bucks, Cilantro Lime delivers you everything you need to cook a homemade dinner for two people. You can get same-​day delivery when you order before noon, which is fantastic when you realize you have no groceries for dinner and want to place and order that day! The website even easily distinguishes which recipes are gluten free, paleo, etc. How cool is that?!?

Ordered at 9:30AM, received at 3:00 PM. Dinner was on the table within 20 minutes, instructions were beyond easy to follow, and I was absolutely more than satisfied. By satisfied I mean absolutely astonished. Great to support local Austin business and farms. JUST DO IT

We have ordered several times from Cilantro Lime. We like that we can order all the ingredients for dinner and have them delivered the same day to our apartment. The website is clean, and easy to navigate and the recipes update weekly with the seasons.
All the ingredients for dinner arrived at an insulated bag and a recipe card with step-​by-​step instructions. So far my favorite has been the Gamberi al Rosmarino which had gulf shrimp with crisp pancetta and toasted pine nuts.

Cilantro Lime is easy, affordable and delicious! I just moved to Austin and at times just don’t have enough time to go to the grocery store and prepare a home cooked meal. With Cilantro Lime I can easily make a delicious and nutritious meal. I absolutely love the Steak & Tiger Cry and would recommend this to any of my friends!

We received a front door flyer for Cilantro Lime about 2 or 3 weeks ago. It was my husband who suggested we give it a go. Placed an order last week for 2 meals (as there was a deal going on «order 2 get a $ 20 credit» for a future order.) I place the order about 10AM — same day delivery if placed before 12noon. I picked the 3−5pm delivery window and the package of goodies arrived sometime around 4pm — I was notified by text by the delivery person.
The insulated bag had all the necessary ingredients for the 2 entrée dishes ordered. At first I was not sure how I was going to figure out what ingredient went with which recipe card however Cilantro Lime made that easy by color coding the bags/​containers. Green labels for the Verde Pork and Yellow labels for the Blackened Pork. Very impressed with the labeling, freshness of ingredients and detailed ingredient/​recipe card with pictures.
I made one dish the night we received the ingredient bag — Pipian Verde Pork with Summer Squash. Very easy and tasty (this is a mild dish, ideal for people who don’t like spice.) I would have preferred more of kick but that is a personal preference. Only detail missing from the ingredient card — what to do with the «toasted pumpkin seeds.» From the picture of the dish I could see that the seeds were a garnish only.
The 2^nd dish ordered was made last night (I froze the pork and refrigerated the other ingredients that needed it until we were ready to use.) The Blackened Pork with Corn and Chorizo was a hit in this household! This dish has a spicy kick that we loved! Another relatively easy dish to assemble, the only chore for me was cutting the corn kernels off the cob.
I love to cook and I am pretty good at it so these dishes were easy to make. No special cooking skills required here — so this service is really great for the novice in the kitchen (at least the 2 dishes we tried.) I LOVE the fact that all the spices are measured out, most veggies are cleaned and washed (tomatoes, tomatillos, chilies, cilantro, garlic, etc.) and the recipe card tells you what special «equipment» is needed (roasting pan, blender, etc.)
These dishes are ideal for 2 people. Great for newlyweds, impressing a date with a home cooked meal, empty nesters, a single person who wants a great left over meal. Really anyone would enjoy this service but these are the people that come to mind that would benefit from using Cilantro Lime.
We will be ordering again! I wish this local Austin business much success :-)

I was really impressed with Cilantro Lime’s service. We were able to get 3 meals shipped to our house. The box contained all the ingredients & recipes to make the food in a thermal bag that we got to reuse for the grocery store. Really convenient and delicious.

Cilantro Lime is a new business start up in ATX. I have had the pleasure of tasting some of the recipes and can vouch for the amazing quality and taste of the food. The ingredients are fresh and wholesome and of superior quality. The kits are easy to understand and will leave you feeling like a pro once you see the final product. This is a great service for those learning to cook or just want all the supplies they need to cook an outstanding gourmet meal without having to waste time wandering around the grocery store trying to figure out. The meals are all $ 20 and serve 2 people (the portions are very substantial) which is really a great deal.
