Chase Bank

Yeah, yeah, they are a big bank and you can’t escape the fees. But I have to say the customer service at this branch is pretty great! I have come here for a number of reasons, most recently last week I came in because I wanted to send some wires. The bankers I worked with were VERY helpful, and informed me that I could save a few bucks by just doing it myself online (good to know).
The branch manager at one point came and introduced himself, and asked about one of the wires I was sending. When he found out it was to someone that had a Bank of America account he informed me I could just get a cashier’s check (he waved the cost) and physically deposit it at a Bank of America branch that happened to be about two blocks south. I was elated, and thanked him for the suggestions (and the $ 50+ in savings) and did just that!
This is a small branch, but the people working there seem to really enjoy their job and want to help. Their customer service is what keeps me coming back.
The only deduction I’m giving is they do not offer safety deposit boxes at this location so I have to use a different branch for that service.

I needed to open an new bank account this weekend and went here. I was resigned to going to a «big bank» for convenience only, seeing as I might be moving to another city, so just crossed my fingers that this basic process would go smoothly and painlessly. Maybe it’s because this part of South Congress isn’t the area one thinks of when thinking of «banking» but the place was a calm, clean, uncrowded banking oasis. Plenty of people were working there Saturday morning. Martin Andrada handled my new account and actually made it an enjoyable experience. He told me all I needed to know, made everything really easy, and said he’d be checking in on me to make sure all was good. I know if I have a problem I can call him and get great service. True, I have only just opened the account, but that’s how I feel.

They treat business customers like crap, so we finally closed all our accounts and moved over to Wells Fargo. So much better, and they actually work with me on issues like accepting credit cards and how to protect yourself.

So… I was having some issues with my Bank of America account, and I was directed to Chase because of its incentive program… you open an account, set up direct deposit, and they give you $ 100 just for opening an account. Niiiiice! I happened to go in the day after their grand opening which was a little over a month ago. I was greeted and helped by Brent, who smoothly and quickly got me set up. He explained everything to me thoroughly and answered all of my questions. The branch manager even came over and introduced himself (David). I was so impressed by their service that I make it a point to only go back to that particular branch and do all my business with Brent. If you bank with Chase or are looking to open any type of account, GO SEE BRENT BARRON! He is extremely friendly and always ready to help. As long as he is working there, I won’t go anywhere else.
