I loved the swim classes! The first day is complete pandemonium I must say. I brought my going on 4 ½ year old and going on 3 year old by myself. Whatever you have to do enlist help if you are thinking of this. They were petrified the first day but my the third day Ms. Cathy had my 4 year old diving through a hula hoop and by day 6 she was swimming 50 feet. My 3 year old is able to kick with one leg. Ms. Cathy was an amazing teacher. For example, Ms. Cathy’s daughter lost her best friend in a car accident the day before the start of class. She still went on with class and put on a very happy face. I wouldn’t have known had she not shared with me. It broke my heart to hear about her friend but I was overwhelmed by her work ethic and her daughter’s maturity. Thank you so much Ms. Cathy!

Its very promising 8 classes for any beginner kid who is scared to get his face into the water. Initially the first couple of classes are little hard with most kids crying but things change so fast from day 3 and all the kids start to learn and at the end of the 8 classes all kids do swim independently and manage to come out of the pool on their own without any worries. My 5 year old who was never ready to get his face in the water after the 4^th class at Ms Cathy was ready to get his face in the water and swim thru on his own, and as he came closer to his last class he was all good to jump into the pool, swim and come out of the pool all by himself. Today at my home community I am able to sit relaxed on the pool chair and watch him enjoy the water and also swim thru the pool by himself. Thanks to Ms Cathy and Ms Sam.

This is the best money I’ve ever spent on classes for my kids. Ever. My six year old has been taking classes at Emlers since she was 10 months old, and although the lessons were lots of fun, with the singing and the heated pool and all, bottom line: she-still-couldn’t-swim. She could sort of do a doggie paddle towards the wall, but not even to the extent that it could save her life if she was drowning. I signed her up for Ms. Cathy three weeks ago, and yes, its all true. The myth is real. She is now swimming! Her strokes need improvement, but she can hold her arms out in front of her, hands clenched together, and kick her way across the pool, with her head underwater. After being amazed with the results with my daughter, I signed my two and a half yr old son up for the next available session. I wish I had signed them both up together as it would have saved me the long drive all the way up from Northwest Austin to Westlake in rush hour traffic, but it was worth the drive and the effort, because — My son (who’s never had any swim lessons prior to this) just finished his two week session yesterday, and he’s swimming!!! Yes, the first two classes of the two week session were horrendously painful. My son cried and clung and whimpered «No, no, no my turn, no my turn. Please. Please.» Poor thing. The half hour class felt like it would never end as I threw my wailing son into the pool again and again as Ms. Cathy held his face down in the water and glided him across the pool. I think he got about 8 turns. But that’s just the first two classes. If you can somehow survive the ordeal for those first few days, you will be blown away by what you see on the third and fourth day. On the fourth day of class, my two yr old was racing another kid across the pool! He could swim a good four-​five feet across all by himself, after just an initial nudge from Ms. Cathy. I have a video (that had the grandparents beaming with pride) to prove it. And as other reviewers have mentioned, Ms. Cathy really is fantastic with kids. She has a firm, no-​nonsense attitude, which in a strange way seems to work very well with kids. My two yr old was blowing her kisses by the time the session was over and my daughter adores her. Her session is done but she can’t wait till I sign her up for the next one (the strokes improvement one). The first two or three lessons, all I heard was my daughter complaining — «I hate these lessons,» «You just don’t want me to have any fun…» At the end of the first week? — «I LOVE swimming!» «I want to swim ALL the time» «Can I email Ms. Cathy to tell her thank you?» We leave for Thailand on vacation this weekend and I am thrilled that both my kids will be able to enjoy the water there. So, long story short, just brace yourself, and sign your kids up. You will not regret it.

I have taken two of my children to this class and am now taking my third. It was brutal at first, but I feel much more confident about my 3 and 5 year olds’ ability to get out of a pool if they were to fall in. The 5 year old did well and now has a good foundation to keep improving his swimming technique. When he is in the pool now he swims to the side and knows how to look for the ladder or the stairs. My 3 year old definitely struggles with the swimming, but he is getting extra attention from Ms. Cathy and her daughter and will be coming back for more lessons. He’s getting better every day. I will update my review after my 20 month old fearless daughter tries the class. If you are scared that your children panic in the water or are too comfortable jumping into the water (even though they can’t get themselves out) and want them to quickly learn how to get out of the water, then this is the class for you. We did try some city classes and they were okay, but really didn’t teach the kids what they needed to get out of the pool as quick as this class. The first two days of crying children is not great, but after that, almost all the kids enjoyed it.

I took my daughter to Miss Cathy last summer and was totally amazed how in 8 lessons my daughter, who was terrified of going under water, was swimming and loving it! I live in NYC and planned my vacation to see my mom here in Austin to correspond to the swim sessions. I had researched swimming lessons in NYC and was not happy with the lesson options there and was told by a friend that lives in Austin about Cathy. This is my daughters second summer with Cathy and her confidence and swimming ability has blossomed! We will be back next summer for her stroke development classes. I cannot sing Cathy’s praises enough! Her method works!!!

My little boy can swim and pool time is fun again.
Leo is our youngest of 3 kids and he is the most challenging; always curious, always on the go and always adventurous. It can be very scary to have a busy 4 year old son that has no fear of the water. We wanted to be responsible parents and ensure his success if he were to accidentally fall into the water (they are fast at this age!) and to progress him from floats to swimming independently. He amazed us in 2 days with Ms. Cathy!
I was so anxious and was really worked up emotionally on the first day because as a child I had a near drowning experience at the beach when I was very young. I love the water but have a healthy fear of the power of water and the danger it posses. I think my Leo could sense my fear for him too. He was scared and cried and kept asking «is that the last one» as he exited the pool stairs and got back into line with me. At the lessons conclusion today he declared, «I was scared and now I am not. I am brave, mommy!» (holding back a few tears as I type)
All of our kids have gone though swim lessons in Austin; one with Emler, one with Nitro and Leo was the last to go through lessons a youngster. With Emler and Nitro it was very long and dragged out, very exhausting and looking back very unnecessary. I am a little bit of a helicopter parent and our youngest responds better to the opposite. Ms. Cathy and her methods fit the bill. She is fun, focused and knows kids and swimming. The most impressive element Ms. Cathy demonstrates is her firm but nurturing approach and how kids respond to her. Leo knew from the first dive into the water she means business with a sweetness that he took to immediately. I knew day one we had made a great choice as parents for our son.
We are finishing up our lessons and I feel confident when we are at Lake Travis or our pool we will be a little more relaxed knowing that Leo can swim successfully. It does not make us turn our back on our kiddos near water but let’s me relax a bit and actually enjoy water fun with all of our children now. Thank you Ms. Cathy for doing what other swim schools cannot do for children like Leo. I feel confident that with each subsequent swimming season Leo will develop a stronger stroke, effective kicking and will enjoy a day of water play as much as all the rest of his sibs. I’m thrilled with the results from Ms. Cathy’s swim class. My two kids completed the 8 day course last week and couldn’t believe it when my 3 year old was swimming around without water wings in the pool this long weekend, when just 2 weeks prior she would freak out about putting her head in the water. She is now obsessed with making a rocket shape with her hands and loves diving into the pool. My almost 2 year old on the other hand is still very timid, weeps and unhappy with being put under water but I feel it’s very important that he is now familiar with the sensation of being thrown in the pool and being under water. He cries but he also climbs himself out!
Parents it is a total cry fest the first day or two but it does get better! Some may not agree with this method but my daughter went to another local swim school for several months and she would NEVER put her head in the water and could never swim on her own. I have no regrets sending my little ones and plan to sign up for a refresher next summer. This experience has given me peace of mind that with an accidental fall into the pool, my kids will have much better chances of survival.

My almost 3 year old son just completed a session with Ms. Cathy. Overall, I’m glad that we enrolled him in this class because he is now more confident in the pool and doesn’t whine every time water gets in his eyes. BTW, he really likes Ms. Cathy.
I’ve only been through one session, so I’m simply writing about my observations from the kiddos in our class. The class that we attended had toddlers ranging from about 20 months to kids 5 or 6 years old. Her methodology uses repetition in different contexts (different locations, through hula hoops, off of a ledge «the waterfall») so that the children don’t get stuck swimming a certain way or to only one person.
If you are thinking about enrolling your child, ask yourself the following:
1) Am I prepared to force my (crying, quivering, and pleading) child into doing something that he or she will not want to do?
Like many other reviewers have already noted, the first few days are the toughest as you are literally prying your crying child off of you and gently pushing them into the water. (About half way through the second class, my son started to realize that swimming wasn’t too bad.) Basically, if you couldn’t have your kid «CIO» (parents, you know what I’m talking about…) this class may not be for you.
2) What do I want my child to get out of this swim class? I really didn’t know what to expect my child to be able to do by the end of the session, so here’s my 2 cents. If your child is under 3, expect them to be able to jump into the water and maybe be coordinated enough to kick and swim about 7 feet. On the last day, all of the kids younger than 3 needed some help (in the form of a small push) mid-​swim. If your child is older, they will get it.
If you’ve decided to take the plunge, here are a few tips:
1) Prepared to get wet the first 2 (maybe 3) days. On the first day every parent had a wet child clinging onto them. If you are planning to bring and wear a younger sibling (baby) with you, wear them on your back, instead of in front of you. If you can have someone watch them for you the first few days, even better.
2) Take videos of your kids swimming starting from the first day. This helped encourage my son to go back to class the next day. Ms. Cathy had everyone swimming by the end of the first class.
3) On day 8, Ms. Cathy has a photographer who will come and take underwater photos of your kiddos. The large camera terrified my son (who is a bit wimpier than most children) and made his last day experience just horrible. So if you have a… sensitive child like mine, you may want to forewarn them.
I am withholding a star from this review because I felt like my son didn’t learn anything new past day 3. Besides being able to jump from a higher ledge, his swimming on day 3 really looked no different than day 8.
There are many swimming schools in Austin, so as with all parenting decisions that you make, you really need to consider your kid and pick something that will work for them. Bottom line, Ms. Cathy is teaching these young kiddos skills that will help save their life and she can do this in just a few days.

And on the second day… THE SKIES OPENED UP AND MY KID LEARNED HOW TO SWIM!!! Seriously, folks, Miss Cathy is one special lady. I know, the first day is a terrifying experience for kids and parents alike. And there are a few parents who don’t see the hope and pull out after the first day (sorry, no returns, no exchanges). But, if you place a little faith and trust in the hundreds of parents who can attest to the 8-​day program, your child (mine is 4 yrs old) will become an empowered swimmer. The only problem now is having to take them to the pool every day.

Ms. Cathy is the real deal! Safety is top priority, and our little one was swimming and climbing out of the stairs by herself before the first week was over. Did I mention she’s 19 months?! Yall– As a parent, that’s awesome to see. Words can’t even describe it. She is amazing with children & babies. Our daughter looks forward to lessons everyday! Watch the videos posted on Ms. Cathy’s website. It’s exactly what you can expect to see when you’re there yourself.
When you catch your little one waking up from her nap and see in the monitor that she’s laying on her belly practicing her «kick, kick, kick», you know you have a little fish on your hands. We have Ms. Cathy to thank for that. We couldn’t be any happier that we went to Ms. Cathy and wholeheartedly recommend her.

this was the best money we EVER spent! i spent our first 2 years @ other swim lessons that were too slow for me– i knew he loved the water, i knew he could blow bubbles; indeed, this method is not for everyone; but we chose to do ms cathy’s class with a friend, mostly for mommy moral support and so the kiddos could cheer each-​other on! i had done my research and watched the videos and somewhat knew what to expect– i knew this would be harder on myself then my kiddo; and momma just had to trust ms cathy & encourage my son every time he crawled out of that pool! so i did bribe him with froyo after each class as his reward… but it was oh so worth it! tears were gone by lesson#3 and he was jumping up & down with such pride! we went back to class for a refresher the following Spring so he was ready for another full summer of swimming; i would constantly get asked where he learned to swim so well– i boasted about the «swim nazi” — if the parents can mentally stay tough and push thru, your kids will swim by 8 classes! i truly think mine is just about ready for swim team at age 5… Ms Cathy and her daughter, Brittany, are amazing people to care so much for other kids out there! They truly SAVE lives!!!

Ms. Cathy is still the best! I had such a great experience with her a few years ago, I finally took my youngest daughters to her lessons a few days ago. My 4 and 5 year-​old were both swimming a short distance on the first day! Yes, my girls cried and even screamed on the first day, but by the time class ended, they just kept saying how fun it was to swim and that they couldn’t wait to come back. Today was the 4^th day of lessons, and when I took them to our neighborhood pool, they swam at least 20 feet over and over again and pulled themselves out of the water. I can’t believe I didn’t take them to Ms. Cathy sooner!

My son has only been to 4 classes with Ms. Cathy and HE CAN SWIM!!! I can only imagine the little fish he will be by the end of the 8^th class. I highly recommend Ms. Cathy to all parents who are tired of spending money on swimming lessons that use endless swimming props that only delay progress. I did that with my oldest child and it took her two years to get to where my son is with Ms Cathy.
Ms. Cathy doesn’t use anything to assist them in floating. She is OLD SCHOOL tough love. My son likes her and now looks forward to her class. Thank you Ms. Cathy and Ms. Britney for this wonderful technique. You are saving lives!!!

A couple weeks ago I was at the pool alone with my three small children. I did one turn with my infant in hand and my 2 year old was out of the floatie and jumped in the deep end. I felt helpless and never been so afraid. How could I be so naïve, to think this could not happen to me?! I got her out of the water and she was fine but I immediately researched the best swim lessons and chose Ms. Cathy. I am SO glad I did! (I signed my 4 year old with YMCA whilst I was still researching the best lessons and it is a joke, sadly she has not learned anything.) Day 3 with Ms. Cathy and my little girl is swimming and getting out of the water alone! I will be signing up my 4 year old next session and my infant as soon as possible. Please don’t wait, sign up now! This could save lives! I already feel much more confident about going to the pool, my daughter as well and she is so excited to be swimming. Thank you Ms. Cathy and Brittany. :)

Sending my son (3.5 yrs) to this class was the worst parenting mistake of my life.
My son is sensitive and very articulate, and also maybe older than the ideal candidate for this class. but here was our experience:
We went with a group of about 9 kids with their parents. We file into a line. Ms. Cathy takes each child in turns and brings them into the water, pushes their heads down under and yells at them to kick. My son did it once and emerged screaming like I’ve never heard him scream. We went back into the line. Every time it was the same, for every single kid there. Hopeful, curious kids were turned into terrified screamers. My son ran away and hid, shaking, almost vomiting. I decided to quit and we just watched for the rest of the time.
On the way out, every parent was freaked out. A fellow parent said to me «It’s like taking your kid to the slaughter house»
I worried I had scarred him for life, that he would never swim now. Then I took him to Ms Tiffany at Safe Baby Swim, ISR:
At the first lesson he hid far away in the fetal position. She was kind and she listened and really worked on connecting with him. It took 3 lessons for her to get him to touch the water. And now, one month later, he is swimming like a fish. He swims, he rolls, he floats. And most of all, he is happy and confident, proud of himself and loves swimming.
As parents out there trying to find a way to teach our kids to swim so that they are safe from drowning, it seems like there are a few options in Austin and they are all basically the same. They are not. It’s not that kids don’t cry with Ms. Tiffany — it’s common that they don’t like to get their faces wet at first, but her process is so much gentler. I feel that if we had stayed on with Ms. Cathy, I would have had to carry him forcibly each time into those lessons and I can only imagine he would never trust me the same way again.

Not for us… maybe not for you. I took in a fearless child who loved the water and I took away a fearful child who didn’t want to go near the water. Ms. Cathy won’t remember me, as we never properly met. She was barking orders from the moment we drove up (I get it, it’s dangerous when parents allow their kids to run around) however, if her website or the email she sends out minutes before the first class were accurate, it may help with the confusion.
Please take your time and read the lower-​rated reviews and don’t get blinded by the 5 star reviews. Every one of the lower reviews is accurate on the environment and lessons, so I don’t want to rehash.
If you want your child to be puking and screaming bloody murder, grasping trees, people, the concrete — anything — to not go back into the water with Ms. Cathy then this is the place for you! I can swim well and didn’t need to learn in this manner and neither does my child. I’m now working with a trainer to undo the damage done by Ms. Cathy… someone who has given me advice and tips without charging a dime to date. Thanks Nora Martin Swim School!

My almost 2 yr old just completed the class and she can definitely swim better than when she started. Maybe my own fears of Ms. Cathy rubbed off on my daughter despite my best efforts to remain brave, because my child (who NEVER cries) cried THE WHOLE TIME. While every child cried in the beginning, my child was the only one still crying as we left on the last day. She even woke up a few times in her sleep crying «no Ms. Cathy»!
I feel like she is very knowledgable and a successful teacher however her methods and facility are why I give a lesser rating. The pool is very dirty (can’t see the bottom) and I felt unsafe climbing the «stairs» to throw my child off the waterfall. There are also a lot of bugs and bees– bring bug spray or you may get eaten! The method was just not what was best for my child. I wanted quick results and I got them (sort of) but it was pure torture for her as well as for me and my husband.
Through it all, my child was always happy to swim with us at our pool and never became fearful of the water. We are continuing to practice, just on softer, more playful and rewarding terms.

I cannot be more thankful for Ms. Cathy’s swim class. Before Ms. Cathy’s lessons, my older daughter (5yrs old) had had lessons every summer starting with the «Mommy and Me» lessons at a year old. Despite so many years of lessons and despite liking the water in general, she was still extremely averse to putting her face in the water and terrified of actual swimming. I was so frustrated that nothing was working, and I was growing concerned about her safety in the water. My younger daughter, (3yrs old) had the same aversion to putting her head under, and I could see that we’d be in the same position with her if she did the same old lessons. So, on a recommendation of a friend, we tried Ms. Cathy’s class.
The class was an extremely intense but, ultimately, exhilarating experience. My older daughter was won over quickly; she left the second lesson declaring that she might like to be a swim teacher instead of a dance teacher, and from that day on, she looked forward to the lessons. My younger daughter did not share her older sister’s level of enthusiasm about the process, but after about three days she started touting her accomplishments («Nana, I swam under the water! Dad, I jumped through the hula-​hoop!»). On the day of the sixth lesson, the younger one told me, «Mama, I’m not going to cry today.» Amazingly, she was true to her word. The progress of these two girls in just two weeks was amazing, and the best part was seeing their joy and pride in learning.
Even though it’s only been a few days since we concluded our lessons, I can attest that they have retained the skills they learned and that they continue to progress. The first time we went swimming after the class, there was a definite division between play time and practice time in the pool. Playing around with face out of the water was fun; swimming to the wall and the stairs with face under was practice. The second time we went swimming after lessons concluded, that division ceased to exist. My older daughter voluntarily swam back and forth across the shallow end of the pool countless times, and my younger daughter voluntarily put her face in the water over and over and over again. The younger one even asked for more turns to swim to the stairs. In other words, swimming, truly swimming, is now fun.
I cannot recommend Ms. Cathy’s class highly enough. I could not be more thrilled with the result.

I have 2 children, ages 4 years old and 2 ½ years old. We attended Ms. Cathy’s swim session last week and have had the BEST results.
Pros: Miss Cathy is professional, courteous, straight-​forward and and a «no-​nonsense» teacher. That said, this is a class that requires the parent to swallow a dose of tough love going into the swim session. She encourages children, and although they may cry in the beginning, many children (almost all) love her by the end.
Her technique is phenomenal. She actually teaches children to not be afraid of the water and learn the proper technique in swimming. There is no fluff. The kids are in line and each child gets a lot of one on one attention with her.
Facility: Excellent pool. There is a rock cliff for jumping that teaches the kids about depth perception. She switches the jumps into the pool so the kids are constantly challenged. She has a huge slide which is the reward at the end of week 2.
Results: My 4 year old is very confident and swimming. She feels comfortable with her head under the water and started using her arms to pull it altogether. My son, is almost getting the swimming idea. I still think the lessons were a success because he has no fear jumping in the pool, placing his face under the water and trying to put together kicks. He was excited to be able to swim across the pool. Is he as good as his sister? Nope. But Ms. Cathy gave him the basic tools to learn the proper technique on how to swim. He just needs more practice with me. I love the concept of really teaching kids on how to swim instead of bobbing up in down in floatation devices.
I truly am so happy that we made the effort to attend her swim session! She is remarkable. I do agree with other reviewers that this teaching style may not be for every family. However, if you want your child to SWIM, then go see Ms. Cathy! Isn’t that the point?

Kathy does a nice job of helping kids learn how to swim, which is evident from the stellar Unilocal reviews. She also spends a good portion of the first lesson stating how wonderful she is. Kudos to her!
Unfortunately, the water in her pool is filthy… So much so it is cloudy. With her pool being the centerpiece of her business, the pool water and surrounding areas should be sparkling clean, especially with the high fee she charges.
Also, I realize her methodology might help kids learn how to swim but you must know beforehand that the first lessons in each cycle are torture for a child (and parent). Looking back on the experience, I feel guilt and regret that I put my child through Kathy’s lessons. If I had to do it over again I wouldn’t. I’d rather (and will) have someone help my children learn how to swim that does so without torturing both myself and my children. My kids MIGHT not learn how to swim as quickly as they would with Kathy, but I will ensure it’s done in a nurturing way that does not negatively effect them nor me.

We’d hear about Ms. Cathy and so glad we enrolled in lessons with her! My daughter is 3.5 and we’ve been doing lessons since she was 6 months old. Ms. Cathy’s technique is THE BEST and truly gives the kids a sense of confidence that they can swim and gives me peace knowing my daughter can get to the side in a time of struggle. I also think the group lessons are the best way to go (and cheaper too). Ms. Cathy has this down to a science and my daughter is swimming very well as a result.
My 2 month old daughter will not be going to any other swim teacher and will be starting with Ms. Cathy next summer.

My daughter is 5 years old. When she was 3.5 she jumped in the pool without her floaties on and being that it was noisy from the waterfalls going in the pool, no one heard her. Thankfully my mother saw her… Traumatic for all, and thank God she was ok… But I digress. From that point forward she was traumatized to get her face wet in the shower, or even let me put a Washcloth to her face. At 5 years old though, we decided we needed to have the peace of mind knowing that she’d be safe and FEEL safe in the water.
Then we heard about Ms. Cathy. Two separate strangers told me, «you HAVE to go with ms. Cathy, there is just no other way». Unless you want to drag it out and see little by little improvement, then go with a swim center. It’s SO true.
Fast forward to our first day. It was the hardest thing to see someone push my child in a water environment where my child had absolutely no control over what she had just been forced to do. Listen up. From the FIRST day, my daughter was swimming. Head down, eyes open, under the water. The FIRST day. You don’t know my child, but she’s nearly the most difficult child to ever do anything new… Much less put her head under water. And even though she hated it, she had yet to realize she could DO it, amazing! YES your child will cry, YES they will scream and beg for you not to make them keep doing it over and over during the lesson. Yes, They might even throw up. But once you start, mark my words, you cannot let your child stop, you will be a better parent for doing this.
It gets easier on day 3. My daughter realized (after trying to bargain with me), that this was just how it was going to be. She was counting down the days till we didn’t have to come any more.
Day 5 (after our swimming homework, and realizing that she could swim on her own in a public pool), she was a NEW child. CONFIDENT. PROUD… MATURED somehow… It’s the proudest moment I’ve ever had with her. My little girl, proud of herself, and on top of the world.
Our last day. She expressed how her new favorite part of her lesson was getting to jump off the waterfall. (SAY WHAT!?) :)…
My final thoughts about the parents in the class: The ONLY children who were still freaking out on day 8 were products of the parents who came late, skipped classes, or let them «skip a turn because the kids convinced them to»… I’m sorry, but a parent who just keeps inconsistently doing that to your kids? Of course they are going to be freaking out. Sad.
I LOVE you Ms. Cathy, you were an angel. The best thing I could have asked for for these kids!!!

My oldest son is nearly five and we’ve spent years and money on classes that never produced amazing results. My middle child is 3 and after 4 months of every week, 30 min classes, he couldn’t swim. He couldn’t get the edge of the pool to save himself. I now have a newborn and I was sooo scared about this summer near the water. Paralyzed. But after 8 swim lessons with Ms Cathy my oldest is jumping off the diving board, swimming to the ladder. Diving for sinkable toys and loving the water. My middle child can swim across the narrow part of the pool and continues to improve with me in the water to help. Both of them, if they fell in, could easily get to safety. Yolanda B’s review of how the classes unfold is correct. The first two days are torture for the parents because of all the crying — but Ms Cathy’s method works — stick with it.

I have a 6 year old son with autism. My son is tall and very strong for his age. I let Ms. Cathy know about my hesitancy — my son was not a swimmer and we had gone through several city-​sponsored swim classes, but without success.
The first day was horrible. Kids crying, my son very upset. The beginning of the second day, just as bad. My son hated his head being placed underwater. Five minutes before the end of the second session, almost all the children were quiet — and swimming underwater! The only two people who were crying were an 18 month old student and me :) — thank you, Ms. Cathy!
