BEWARE!!! They will tell you that they don’t take credit cards and when you tell them that’s all they have, they say«don’t worry, I’ll send you a bill, and it will be cheap.» I should have walked out right there and then considering the office was nasty and dated back to the 70s. Sure enough I got a bill months later saying I owed them $ 70. No, $ 70 is not a lot of money, but when the doc tells you my foot pain was coming from wearing flat shoes, when it wasn’t, well yea, $ 70 is a whole lot money for nothing! Go to a modern doctor, who has a computer, and takes your insurance, and your credit card. This guy needs to retire.

I have recommended more people to Dr. Newman. They have gone to other podiatrist’s in Austin and have been very disappointed. They come away thanking me as Dr. Newman has you up walking the same day of surgery. I had bunions and neuroma’s removed from both feet at the same time. He told me he wanted me up walking when I got home that day and he called to make sure I was! I followed the pain management for three days and NEVER felt any pain from the bunions. I kept staring at my feet wondering when the pain would start and it didn’t! Don’t put it off and ONLY go to Dr. Newman.

I’ve been going to Dr. Newman since I was 21 years old. 25 years later, he is the ONLY podiatrist I truly trust. He has done 2 successful, easy, tailor bunion surgeries on me(10 years apart). After recommending many, many friends and family to him, I have only heard«Thank you» from them all. His congenial, warm, listening manner is all worth the visit.
