Broadstone 8 One Hundred

DO NOT LIVE HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR SERVICES YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE!!! HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT THAT JUST GIVES YOU THE RUN AROUND! CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE THIS PLACE! I have lived here for almost 3 months and at first they were very nice and helpful, but since the week we moved in we have had a trash pickup issue. It is required to pay $ 25 to the leasing office each month for trash service yet they don’t take the steps to be sure the trash is picked up each night. The first week we were here they didn’t pick it up 3 or 4 days in a row and I called the leasing office multiple times and they assured me the problem was fixed. We paid the full months price even though we didn’t receive service all of those days because we just assumed it was because we were new. The service was fine for about a month and then all of a sudden they didn’t pick up for 5 days. Again, I called the leasing office several times through out those 5 days and spoke with Katherine the manager. When I told her we were not going to pay for the days we did not receive service she informed me that I had to contact Christopher Evans at the trash company because they handle billing. Now this didn’t make sense to me because we pay the leasing office each month for the trash service, not the trash company. I called Christopher Evans and like I figured he informed me that the leasing office handles billing. Basically I have been given the fun around since. I have yet to receive a final answer on my bill and they informed me that they are tracking my apartment each day to be sure the workers stop to get my trash. Well guess what… they didn’t get my trash last night either!!! You can imagine my frustration at this point.

I’ve been living here since September and the first 3 months were wonderful. Now this place has a major theft problem, people’s tires and rims have been stolen and management just says sorry. Packages are being stolen from people’s front doors and now they have posted alerts of high car thefts for broadstone 8100. We no longer feel safe here and the management team is doing nothing about it.

Great property. High quality stuff and nice finishes. Walls are thin but that’s every apartment.
Staff is typical. Very nice when first signing but after that they are rude and unhelpful. They don’t return phone calls and rarely pick up during business hours. If you show up in the office they look very annoyed to have to deal with you. Their voicemail also lists incorrect opening and closing times which is confusing.
Overall definitely rent here it’s the nicest apartment complex in the area, just don’t expect good service after move in. Also be wary of reviews; when I moved in they offered a discounted app fee or some other perk in exchange for a review on FB or Unilocal

I recently moved to Austin and I looked at many Unilocal reviews before I made a decision on an apartment, so I hope this review helps anyone looking for a new place! The Broadstone 8 One Hundred community is beautiful, quiet, and very clean. The apartments are brand new with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. I’ve had friends visit from out of town and they’ve been very impressed. There are tons of amenities that really add a nice touch, including a great gym that will make you want to exercise! The staff is professional and helpful with anything I need! I always feel welcome in the office. I’ve had two minor maintenance requests and they have been resolved within 24 hours. I always feel safe on the property and there’s pretty easy access to the main highways. So happy with my experience so far!

Best community I have ever lived at! The office staff is amazing and the maintenance team is awesome! If you want to live at a beautiful, quiet, close-​to-​everything place, where you feel at home and you are taken care of, this is it!

The community itself is great with its amenities and its management.

Another update! I’ve been here for about 6 months and really enjoy it.
Dog park now has benches and waste areas. Management was super helpful in making sure I was happy with the park and the changes that were made. They were quick to respond to my review which I really appreciated. It shows that they care about the residents!

I love living here! I’ve never lived somewhere where I feel so comfortable and where puts any effort into creating a sense of community. And the fact that the grounds and always clean and beautiful helps it feel like home. Also the apartments themselves are beautiful. All of them are brand new and come with plenty of space and new stainless steel appliances. The staff here is amazing too and helped us immensely.

The place is beautiful and the staff really is sweet. The granite countertops, spacious layouts, spiffy brand new appliances, and hardwood floors are delectable. Why a one star rating, you ask? Well, in the list of amenities one would never expect a toilet be included. I’ve lived in this place a week now, boxes still strewn about, and I’ve been without a toilet for three days.
The issue began with a sluggish flush back on Thursday so I figured, «you must’ve done some damage, sir,» and decided to try to self remedy with the purchase of two different plungers. Who’d have thunk two plungers would be necessary in any household?! Clearly a bigger issue than just a plunger. And in all honesty the toilet hadn’t been used in a capacity that would warrant such a blockage.
The issue was reported Friday and maintenance came out later in the evening to try to «snake» their way through the problem. No avail. This is where my discontent truly began. I work for a company that marvels customer service and it has become part of my repertoire to expect an expectation to be held through. Time is money and everyones time should be considered very valuable. That night I was told that the next day a plumbing service of sorts would be out to remedy the issue and I was granted access to an empty neighbor unit to field trip any calls of nature.
The next day comes and about midday I’m given an expectation that a plumbing service will not arrive that day as originally promised, but not until Monday. This was clearly not even going to be a considerable option, so I reach out to the office staff to report my discontent. A couple of hours go by and I am then given a new expectation that the plumbers would arrive between 4 – 8. Sounds great, right? A window of light at the end of the tunnel! Wait, just kidding! At 7 I receive word that the plumbing service is missing some «special tool» they need and won’t be able to arrive until the next day between 8 – 12. You’re telling me this plumbing service didn’t know that they didn’t have access to that tool before the expectation was set? Keep in mind, this is my weekend to decompress and get ready for the following week.
The next morning arrives, I’m up at 8, receive word that the plumber will arrive around 9:30. Fantastic!!! We’ll have a flushable toilet in a matter of hours! Wait, just kidding! The plumber (singular) arrives with his snake and tries to do the same thing the sweet maintenance guy did. The catch: he has the «magic tool» but it’s down three flights of stairs and it weighs 400 lbs. The plumber called his dispatch and was told to reschedule because no one else was available to assist him. He gathers his snake and leaves my place.
Don’t you think the expectation should have been set to this plumbing company that it’s going to be more than a simple blockage issue, that had already been attempted to resolve, and that the plagued unit is on the third floor? So that they could be, I don’t know, prepared? I really should’ve just hired someone and had the issue remedied and my rent discounted that sum, but evidently that wasn’t an option.
So, in the interim, I will continue to field trip my nature calls and hope that my time will be considered valuable because being without plumbing has never been something I’ve been expected to pay $ 1,000 per month for.

Its my first time to live in Austin and Broadstone eight one hundred impressed me a lot. The staff here is very friendly and helpful and the equipment and apartment are brand new. I like here!

Staff is great and very professional. Maintenance is also very nice and they will not come into your apartment unless they have your permission.
Fitness center and other amenities are top notch since this place is brand new. Granite countertops and a spacious bathroom are very nice!
We get periodic emails for little community events as well as reminders to clean up after your pets. The property is gorgeous, and well taken care of. I’ve never had the misfortune of seeing little pet bombs on the yard.
The mailroom has a freakin’ TV in it, in case you’re waiting for a package.
6÷09÷2016 update: Been here since July 2015, and 100% happy and would recommend.

Brand new apartment homes with such great customer service! Very polite and professional office personnel who answered all my questions. Cannot wait to move in!
