Had my first real massage today! It was an impulse decision and this place was able to get me in within a couple of hours of calling. Didn’t really know what to expect and I was pleasantly surprised. Receptionist Courtney was very, very nice and friendly. Landon was my masousse and was amazing! Although the building may not look so special on the outside, it’s actually very nice on the inside.

I was very impressed with the service here. They were welcoming and very attentive. I will absolutely be back.

Such a great relaxing spa! I have been here 8 or 9 times and every massage therapist that I have used were all fantastic. Easy to find location with parking and reasonable prices. They have deals on their website, Unilocal,Groupon and Amazon. They always have openings for last minute appointments you can book online which is a plus for me. I highly recommend them.

Just had the most amazing massage by this new therapist her name was Mamn and she is the most amazing therapists I have ever had in all my life… I get a massage about once a month. And bar far she is the best i have ever had.
After my season she brought out harm water which is better for detoxing. She knew her stuff.

This is a split rating. I give a 5 to the first massage that I had here and a 2 to the second massage I had. The first was through Groupon, and the second was through Amazon Deals – now no longer available. The first massage was fantastic. It was by an older woman who trained in massage in California and definitely knew her trade. Unfortunately, she is no longer there. My second massage was by Qui, and that massage was forgettable. I wouldn’t get another one from him. I doubt that I will return here, because I can get a better massage elsewhere.

My friend and I bought a 90 minute deep tissue massage through Groupon. We were supposed to have a couple’s massage so we could finish at the same time and enjoy a girls’ day afterward. The appointment was booked 3 weeks in advance and when we arrived they didn’t have the appointment scheduled. Er, correction — the appointment was scheduled for a couple, but they only had one masseuse for two people apparently. There was one client there before we got there and one of the masseuses was running late (not an issue). Instead of handling there inter-​office issues in private, the manager (I believe) started in on the masseuse in front of everyone which is unprofessional and rude. Now the lady who was there before we got there may have only been scheduled for a half hour, but they were not staffed appropriately to handle three clients.
The manager kept apologizing about how the appointment problem was her fault and kept offering free services or half price. We just kept telling her that we have already paid for the Groupon and she would have to refund that amount since it was already paid for and she said she couldn’t do that. She then asked if we wanted to come back at 4 (our appointment was at 10:30 AM). She then offered to have us wait on each other so we each could have a 60 minute massage. I was tempted because I just wanted to get my massage and have the tension between my shoulders relieved, but that didn’t happen. We waited for another half hour, asked what we were even waiting and was given no explanation.
At some point during this, the manager stated she said she tried calling the day before, but didn’t leave a message on my or my friend’s phone. My friend asked if she was calling to confirm the appointment and the manager couldn’t recall.
Frustrated and more stressed we decided to leave. As we were leaving, the manager followed us to our car and begged us not to leave. We asked what we would be staying for and she couldn’t offer a time or explanation for how long the wait might be. She asked us to reschedule and we told her no, we wouldn’t be coming back.
It’s unfortunate because I’ve read good reviews about this place, but I won’t be giving it a second chance. I will not be recommending this to anyone else. Terrible experience.

My husband and I received a very good and affordable couples massage for $ 110 and still having a full spa experience. The owner squeezed us in last minute and was very nice and accommodating. My masseuse was Landon and he gave me the best massage I’ve ever received! He seemed to know where I was hurting and massaged every inch of me. I will definitely be back! Not sure why they are considered $$$ when they should be $$

I’ve been getting massages for a long time, and this one was by far one of the best! I had a wonderful experience at Blue Water. From the minute that I entered, I felt transformed! The waiting room has trickling water and perfect mood lighting, and the bathroom was exceptionally clean and well designed. Most importantly, the massage was top-​notch. I felt in good hands and my massage therapist worked my muscles’ problem spots so well. I often leave massages feeling only relaxed but not that different in terms of muscular tension, but I left Blue Water feeling relaxed mentally and looser physically.

Buyer Beware — They have a Groupon going for Facials. I went online to make an appointment, and the «Facial» button was not an option. I called and told them I was trying to schedule for a facial online and could not. I was hung up on. I called back again and was immediately asked to be put on hold. Then I was hung up on again. So, I called with my cell phone and told them I wanted to schedule an appointment. They asked when I would like to schedule my massage. I told them again I wanted to schedule a facial.
They told me then that they are no longer providing facials.

I had a deep tissue massage with Sarah and love it so much! This is the first time I get a professional massage and felt very relaxing after 90 mins massage. The massage relieves my back tension and pain a lot. Will definitely go back for more!

After a long day at work, I impulse-​scheduled a massage online through Blue Water Spa’s website. The site was easy to navigate, and I chose the 60 minute deep tissue for a discounted $ 55. It was so refreshing to receive the full hour of massage time, and my therapist took my request for «a good amount of pressure» to heart! In 60 minutes, she saved my shoulders and upper back that had been feeling tight and tense for weeks. After having also tried Milk+Honey downtown and Massage Harmony a number of times, this place is definitely the best bang for your buck… a peaceful, luxurious environment for a great price. Booked my next appointment as I was leaving to get another discount!

I needed a massage! I purchased a 90 minute massage from Groupon last minute and they were professional and kind to squeeze me in the same day! Service was WONDERFUL! Landon gave me a massage and wow! He was able to notice the formation of my hips and the tension between my shoulder blades. I got a deep tissue and It was worth it! While he was massaging me I felt less tense as the hour went by and when he worked on my aching hips he was able to kinda of realign them (hard to explained but it worked). Everything I mentioned that was tensed he massage the area and always asked about the pressure.
This was my first time coming here and I highly recommend it! I feel 10xs better and will return again next month.

Awesome!!! First of all, The receptionist Trinity was just lovely. She made me feel welcomed from the beginning. My masseuse Qian gave me a massage that sent me to another planet! I got a 90 min massage through groupon and he gave me a FULL 90 min massage that has made me a client for life. I have already pre-​booked for another one next month! I left there feeling like Gumby :) Thanks Qian!

I recently went to Blue Water Spa for the first time for a facial, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was friendly, and the space was clean and elegant.
My esthetician, Chelsey, she was patient, professional and extremely thorough. She took her time to talk to me about my facial care routine and my problematic area before the facial. I left rejuvenated, relaxed and my skin was glowing for the first time in a long time.
I would definitely go back again in the future for facials, as well as trying Ashiatsu or deep tissue massage.

My boyfriend and I went for a couples massages, using the groupon $ 55 for an hour massage.
This was our first time and we didn’t know what to expect. With all of our awkwardness, the masseuses were extremely professional and made our first-​time massage experience a great one.
The hour was a perfect amount of time. The massages were perfect. Sarah and Justin were amazing. Our backs and bodies are so relaxed and pain free! We left completely satisfied with an easy check-​in/​check-​out procedure and great massages.
This place is HIGHLY recommended by both of us!

You must request Briana. She is the best — super thorough, very kind and will seriously work you! You will walk out feeling like you are on drugs… in a great way.

Had a wonderfully relaxing facial here that left my skin dewy and smooth! She also massaged my scalp and extremities. The aesthetician was very kind and careful throughout the entire process. She has very strong and experienced hands, great for massaging both your face and feet! The products she used smelled and felt great – nothing too heavy or harsh. My mom and I had back to back appointments and both felt great afterwards! Would highly recommend! :)

My first visit and I had trouble finding it and the drive is not easy to get in or out of.
I signed up for a 90 minute massage with a voucher from Amazon local Booked ahead of time, I was really looking forward to a relaxing time. After the restroom and paperwork we started ten minutes after the appointment time. My therapist asked what I wanted to have focused on and I mentioned shoulders but overall body would be great. «Ok. We will see what we have time for».
Alright then. Overall the masseuse was fine. But she stopped and said we had reached time. She told me to get dressed and the receptionist would take care of payment
I get to the lobby and look at my phone. It’s 11:00. She shorted me 30 minutes I had pre paid for with the voucher.
I was told I could pay for the 60 and use the voucher another time. Really? That’s the grand solution. You really think I EVER want to return after this experience? No. Thanks though.

I purchase a massage package for my wife. I worked with the owner, Ms. Li. She was very professional and customer service oriented. She explained to me in detail what I can expect for my wife’s visit. My wife said she had a wonderful experience. She just had to show up and was attended to immediately. The place was very clean and had a relaxing décor. She also felt very comfortable with her masseuse. Since my wife was very please and I enjoyed the customer service during planning the massage fory wife. I can recommend Blue Water Spa. I’m actually looking forward to a massage for myself next time.

Well shit, looks like this place already has amazing reviews so I guess I’ll just throw an extra one in the pot.
I, too, had a Groupon; I, too, had an amazing massage.
90 whole fucking minutes of it by Qian He. Super awesome. And not just the kind where they greet you 5 minutes past your appointment time, chat for a bit about what you want, then leave you to undress for 10 minutes (ok it’s probably more like 5 minutes but it seems like longer when you’re naked on a table face down on a cloth donut).
All my prior massages at other spas do the whole song and dance, and some even quit 5 minutes before your time is up leaving you with only 60% of the time actually spent on the massage (*coughmassageenvycough*).
Not Qian He! I was chatting with the friendly receptionist when he greeted me promptly at the appointed time, had a brief chat, let me undress and quickly came back.
The deep tissue massage was beautifully painful (that’s how I like it!)and amazing, but I definitely left impressed that I got the full 90 minutes of pure delightfully tortuous massage.
Oh and he also turned on the blue lights when it was time to flip over. Not sure why they do that, but it’s pretty fucking peaceful and sweet. The music made me feel like I was in the Never Ending Story, too.
The atmosphere is great, I didn’t get too much of an eyeful but the impression left was somewhat spaceship-​y with the blue lights and all. Great ambiance, great massage, great time had by me! I will be back :)
