Overall: Clean, comfortable, accommodating and friendly. Worth every penny. Absolutely recommend you give them a try. Hair-Cut & Color(Balayage): Cut: I don’t remember his name, but believe he’s the only male who works in the hair salon. He was beyond patient with my indecisive choice of cut, listened to what I wanted, erred on the conservative side when cutting quite a bit of length off my hair, and giving a new cut altogether. Once I realized how thorough and anal he was about ensuring my cut was perfect, I was comfortable enough to have him go a bit more extreme. He didn’t blink when I changed it up on him. VERY patient. VERY thorough with his cutting. Color: I decided to go lighter on the blonde then he suggested, because I was on the extreme streak at this point. The color and balayage placement and overall look turned out BEAUTIFUL! Truly, best coloring I’ve had to date. He was again, very thorough, knows his color, and honestly cared more about how it turned out than I’ve ever had from a stylist. I felt like I was in great hands. We booked two appointment bcs my cut was so late in the evening to begin with. He was willing to stay late for my second appointment, as that was my only availability. Really went out of his way in all regards. And I’m consistently complimented on my new cut. Facial: This was my first facial ever, so I have nothing to compare to, but felt very comfortable and confident in Samantha the entire time. I asked a lot of questions, she was patient and happy to talk through it with me(and not talk at all when I was ready to just relax and enjoy). It was quite refreshing and relaxing overall. I don’t have any major skin issues, but she did the whole 9 and made my skin feel amazing. They are my new salon! Looking forward to trying their massages next.

Nice, clean and quiet place on Rainey Street. Can’t speak to any services except hair cutting for men. Guys, ask for Sarah. She’s sweet and cute and most important, great at making your hair look good.

Being new to the area, I was hoping to find a good massage therapist. I booked 2 massages for my husband and myself and was so pleasantly surprised. Jackie was phenomenal! She infused some Thai massage into the treatment and really helped loosen up some tight spots. She seemed very experienced and really listened to me to customize the massage so that it was what I was looking for– deep but relaxing. The spa itself is a little sparse in the waiting area– but still very soothing and nice. Someone mentioned having no warm towels– but my therapist used several. Overall great experience and I plan to return.

Samantha did horrible things to my skin. She inappropriately diagnosed my skin as hormonal and made my acne worse. She had no idea what she was doing with my skin, and used products that caused severe damage. I really trusted her with my skin, and I invested a lot of time and money with her.(I spent $ 457 for facials and products from September 9th to October 21st.) I asked for my money back on products I had an allergic reaction to, with proof from my dermatologist, and she refused and later claimed I was sending her harassing text messages. I only asked for my money back twice for products which caused my skin damage. I asked in January, when I started seeing my dermatologist, and then in March. That’s it. The way she interacted with me — defensive and as if I was lying — was inappropriate and hurtful. She also lied and said she urged me to see a dermatologist. She did not.(If she did, then why she continue to see me and encourage me to get facials?) The only things I asked for my money back on were Eminence Organic products, which cost about $ 70. I did not ask for money back on facials. I contacted the company itself with pictures of what my skin looked like because of their products with a note from a dermatologist, and the HR lady apologized and told me to contact the spa owner. I deleted my last review because my skin had healed, and I thought it would be best to let go. However, going to this studio caused me a significant amount of pain and took out a large part of my life. My skin is extremely sensitive and reactive to food ingredients, and required the care of a dermatologist to heal completely. At the time, I was getting cystic acne because of an undiagnosed gluten allergy. The stone crop ingredient of Eminence made it significantly worse. The way Samantha responded to me asking for my money back for used products after they failed was inappropriate, ridiculous, and strange, and she was not professional at all. She also originally posted that I needed«serious psychological and professional help» and said that I was a «deeply troubled girl.» I will not let that scare me away from telling the truth. Blossom Skin Studio took me down a path of awful skin that took months to recover from. It damaged my self-confidence, my happiness, and my trust in others with my skin. I am no longer upset about it, but I have every right to tell what happened to me.

They were able to fit me in last minute to get a haircut. Mike, the stylist, has a genuine personality and is awesome with the scissors. You have to check this place out.

I had a 60-minute massage here today. The massage therapist was excellent and I thought she did a wonderful job. I also like that they have a full 60-minute option versus a 50-minute massage. I was however a little disappointed by the overall experience. For a higher end day spa, there were no hot towels, heating pads for the neck area or aromatherapy options. I don’t necessarily like heavy scents, but typically certain oils can help relax the muscles and add to the experience. Also heat helps relax the muscles. I requested the heating pad on the massage table to be turned on, but that’s about it for heat. Again, the massage itself was great, but it’s the little things that make a day spa experience exceptional. It is nice to have spa on Rainey, I just wish they would rethink this part of it.

Best Spa in Austin !! Amazing massage. The girl at the desk I believe her name is Pamela, she was so nice to me and took the time to explain me all the massages available. I absolutely loved her hospitality. As soon as you come in you will realize that you are in the best Spa in Austin.

I had a mani/pedi here recently and my normal(non gel/shellac) manicure is PERFECT10 days later. Not a chip or any flaw at all. That has never happened to me. This place must be magical. Beautiful salon, full service. Friendly folks. I will definitely be back.

You get medical-grade facials that are also seriously relaxing. And now they have a spa that is SO nice! you must see the space. It feels like you’re in California when you walk in, all this open space. The staff waits on you hand and foot and the experience is one you can take your guy too as they have a full menu of mens services as well. They’re so accessible too – you just park in the parking garage or on the street and they’re right there on the 1st floor of the skyhouse building directly on Rainey. Love blossom!!!

I had not gone for a bikini wax in quite some time. And as you know, when you don’t go regularly, the pain is almost just like the very first time. YIKES! So I decided to go to Blossom’s new location on Rainey. Samantha wasn’t in, so I got Jessica … Ladies, when you find someone who does a great Brazilian wax? Worth their weight in gold. JESSICAISPLATINUM. Fast. Efficient. Sweet person. I still kinda can’t believe how relatively painless this was. And I can’t wait to squeal with Samantha over the new gorgeous place. It is still very sparse and minimal, she’s not done with the décor but you can see how nice it is going to be. Salon! Nails! Daylight! Blossom in Hyde Park was a tiny little studio. Blossom on Rainey is like a smaller Milk + Honey. I work downtown so this new location is perfect. And during the day, parking is no problem. This is a woman who took a small, intimate studio to a WOW! I’m proud to see her grow. Also, did I mention Jessica? :)

My wife and I have been going to Blossom Salon and Spa since it opened. Samantha is always pleasant, professional, and real. A true Austinite. I always feel calmer after leaving the great care we receive which continued in our most recent visit in the new location on Rainey. We will be back as always!
