Established in 1996.

Ms. Davis started her private practice in North Carolina in 1996 before moving and opening the Austin version of BD Therapy in 2006. BD Therapy continues to be a single therapist practice and offers patients scheduling flexibility and continuity of care for all patients. We accept many large insurance policies (Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Humana, Texas medicaid, Sendero Health Plans) on an In Network basis and will file claims through the office.

Ms. Davis received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Speech/​Language Pathology from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has worked with patients with a variety of handicapping conditions such as cerebral palsy, Down Syndrome, cleft palate, autism, Cornelia deLange Syndrome, head injury, phenylketonuria, Angelman Syndrome, Velo-​Cardio-​Facial Syndrome pervasive developmental delay, as well as, speech and language delays and tongue-​thrust. She has worked as a speech-​language pathologist for more than 23 years with experience in preschool classrooms, school-​based special needs classes, Head Start, home-​based care, a craniofacial clinic, university research projects and private practice.



Ms. Davis holds national certification from the American Speech-​Language-​Hearing Association as well as a license to practice speech therapy from the State of Texas. She is committed to providing individualized care for each patient.
