The service hasn’t change, still top notch!
This is the second time I’ve used the diaper squad and they are very professional. I needed extra diapers one week and Jorge brought me more diapers at midnight! They keep very good records, so if you end up not using them one week (vacation) they discount that week. I tell moms about this service all the time! Keep up the great local service.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Diaper Squad team! I knew I wanted to use cloth diapers with my new baby but had no idea how or what to buy… let alone how to put one of those suckers on! Lucky for us, were able to attend a FREE diaper squad cloth diapering class. The class was super informative and fun (thanks Jorge!) and we decided we were all in for cloth. We used Diaper Squad’s diaper service for one month. Their weekly service delivers clean diapers and/​or washes your own diapers for you. I had a little trouble figuring out a size to fit my big newborn, and Diaper Squad made a few special deliveries of different sized diapers until we found the right fit. They also sent me a link to a Youtube video on adjusting a cloth diaper. The folks at Diaper Squad are super helpful and friendly, very responsive and quick returning emails/​texts/​calls, and deliver extremely clean diapers. Also, they use all organic and chemical free cleaners! Great experience, great local company. Sad to say goodbye! Thanks guys.

LOVE this service!!! They are the absolute BEST and I am so, so thankful that I do not have to wash poopie diapers! We started using them when our son was born and used them for our twins this past year. Incredibly reasonably priced, fantastic customer service, and a great way to do cloth diapering, without the hassle.
I cannot recommend them enough — they made the whole process painless, offer free training classes, are so easy to work with and I hope they have a great following — as I believe this is one of the only diaper services in town.

WE. LOVE. DIAPER SQUAD! The service is outstanding. My husband and I are first time parents. So we’re obviously new to cloth diapering. Jorge and team made it about as easy as it could be. Our cloth diapering experience started with their free intro to cloth diapering class, where they explained the different types of cloth diapers and how it works more or less. The class was really just informative and wasn’t even a soft sales pitch for their business. The approach was appreciated because there can be a lot to digest.
The class along with a glowing referral from our dear friends sealed our decision to use cloth diapers and to use Diaper Squad — not to mention the obvious money savings when you’re blowing through dipes like popsicles on a hot day when they’re newborns, plus the obvious environmental factors.
About that newborn stage: we calculated that we were going through hundreds of diapers a month, especially when the baby soils the diaper mid diaper change. That said, their service is at least half the price as disposables.
The cloth diaper mystique: Like I mentioned, the class really helped dispel a lot of the complexities of cloth diapering. Plus, they give you just about everything you need — except for diaper cream, which of course is optional.
And moreover, the staff is on it if you need to make adjustments. *ahem*… like ZOMG I used all 150 dipes. I’m going to need more stat! — More diapers show up at your house the next day. Or darn, I’m going out of town and won’t be there pick-​up day. — No problem! They’ll pick them up before you leave. Or my covers don’t fit — Here are more covers. Keep the ones you have just in case.
I could go on!
In the end, we’ve used them for 10 months. We are now cloth diapering on our own (Yay us!). So we’ve discontinued service for now, and we’re genuinely a little sad about it. But we’ll be back again for our next bambino, whenever he or she arrives, and we’ll certainly continue to refer them. Happy CD!

I set this up and from the start only intended to use it for a month or two. We have pocket diapers from our last baby and wanted to use those. But I was having a csection at 37 weeks followed by gallbladder surgery, so I knew I wouldn’t be up for laundry and that our little guy would likely not fit into our stash for a month or two. Well here he is a month old, fitting into them great and I’m almost fully recovered so our time with DS has come to an end — and I’m sad to see it go!
Everything was done perfectly and with great attention to service and kindness. When I mentioned the covers were too big, Jorge sent me 3 premie covers and told me to just hang onto the others just in case.
Supplies were clean, fresh, and always on time. They gave me more diapers than needed just in case. I can’t say enough good things about them.

We used Diaper Squad for the first 4 months of my son’s life and loved it. These guys are awesome. The free intro class they offered was direct and to the point. They were always consistent and the diapers always looked like new. Their staff is really nice and loved giving my business to someone local!

These guys rock! They are easy to contact, deliveries are on time and they even provide a free class on how to properly use and care for your materials. I knew I wanted to use cloth diapers before my daughter was even born, so the transition was easy as the basic service provides you with all the materials. Jorge is a gem and goes out of his way to make sure you get everything you need! Cloth cuts down on waste and is environmentally friendly– I feel good about that! Highly recommended!

Impeccable service. They really go the extra mile to get you the diapers you need. Can’t say enough good things. You put out the dirty diapers weekly in the provided pail, and clean fresh diapers magically appear later in the day. We love the Diaper Squad! Totally worth it!

We’ve had a great experience with the Diaper Squad. We actually had everything set up with them in late 2009 for our first child, including several months’ service on account; but when our son died at birth, Jorge from the Diaper Squad was really kind and sensitive about it, and agreed (at our request) to keep our $ where it was for the next baby. (He also offered just to issue us a check to refund the money.) Keeping the account open gave me a lot of hope there would be another baby… and then, in summer 2011, there was! The coolest thing was, Jorge remembered me when I called in spring for another setup, and was so happy and congratulatory that we had another little one on the way.
We’ve used the Diaper Squad now for 7 months, and they’ve been awesome. The diapers are always clean and plentiful, and Jorge has been very patient with us as, week after week, we tweaked numbers (our daughter is a «great eliminator» and needed waaay more diapers than we expected her to use, for the first several months!)
We’ll most certainly use the Squad again if we have a third child.

What an awesome service!
For less than the price of disposable diapers I am able to diaper my little girl in good for the environment, cloth diapers. We had planned on using cloth from the get go, but she was born a few weeks early and I hadn’t set anything up yet. After three weeks of disposables and already a wicked diaper rash, I called ADS. Jorge was fantastic and set us up right away. Not only did he gave us a couple different sizes so we could figure out what fit, you get the whole she-​bang! Diapers, covers, snappy, linen bag, deodorizer AND the diaper pail to put them in.
We’ve only been using ADS for a few weeks, but haven’t had any problems so far. Phone calls and emails are returned promptly. Adjustments to our order have been taken care of right away. Deliveries are on time and we even got a last minute drop off when we realized she needed the bigger size (suddenly) mid week!
With Austin Diaper Squad, there really is no reason to use disposables!

I cannot say enough nice things about this amazing service, and Jorge, who runs it. Not only does Diaper Squad offer you an unlimited number of diapers for one price, the diapers are also fluffy and clean, and washed with gentle natural soaps, and no bleach. How great is that? Not to mention the ease of being able to put all the dirties out on the front porch and then magically have them whisked away and replaced with clean ones! Even on mornings when I have forgotten to put the dirties out they are always nice enough to knock and wait for me to run through the house apologizing while I go and get them. Not once have I been looked at like I might be crazy, which is a look new moms sort of get used to for a while I think! All in all a great service, and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys rock! Setup is done before your baby is born, while your brain is still semi-​functional. They also offer classes on how to cloth diaper, both for people who use their service and those who don’t.
Their pickup and drop offs were extremely reliable. We never had any problems with them. And they also have excellent communication. Emails are answered very quickly. I also appreciated their proactive approach to holiday pickup/​drop off. They emailed me to see if I’d be out of town. I had forgotten to let them know!
But more important than their customer service is their product. The diapers they provide are always nice and fluffy and soft and CLEAN. I also like their green approach to washing their diapers. They don’t use harsh chemicals and bleach, and that makes me happy. :)
Highly recommended to anyone who wants to cloth diaper, or even just give cloth diapering a try.

I respect the owner, Jorge, tremendously for coming back from the brink of shutting down (or so it seemed late 2009 when the storefront they were operating out of on Lamar shut down).
Since then they have increased their distribution, revamped their image, and become the sole diaper service in Austin. Throughout this process they have not even once missed my Thursday delivery and dropoff. In fact, when I have missed putting out my bag on certain days — they have been incredibly professional and friendly and picked up my dirty bag on an off-​regular day! They are even nice enough to credit me for weeks when we are out of town and do not wish to have pick up/​drop offs.
Cannot say enough good things about this service!

We were planning to cloth diaper from the beginning, but when my baby developed chemical burns and a terrible rash from disposable diapers, it became a necessity.
Jorge and the crew at Austin Diaper Service are awesome! They have changed their name to Austin Diaper Squad. Jorge has always been very responsive and some how always seems to remember me (even though I don’t call often). My baby was a serious diaper dooder for the first couple months, and Jorge always had his team drop off more diapers, for no additional charge. We recently switched to diaper rental, which is an awesome option as well!
The people I know who use ADS also love him.
The only thing I don’t recommend is relying on their covers, they pretty much suck. However, it doesn’t cost much to buy 2 – 3 covers.

I had no idea I would become a fan of cloth diapers, and a fan of the austin diaper service. First of all, we have an unlimited number of diapers for whatever mishap our child may dream of creating. Something happens during a change, you go to a new diaper, with no worries about cost or trash. If you run out of diapers because your child has rapidly outgrown infant size as we did the second week, Jorge brought over a new set the next morning, and had another set ready for us on the standard delivery day. The service is spectacular, the diapers are always clean and on-​time, and — well, I do feel good that we are not moving more plastic into landfills. I had no idea cloth diapering would be so easy — and Austin Diaper Service is a key reason why I think it is also convenient.

Austin Diaper Service rocks! Not only does a cloth diaper service help us do our part to reduce waste and reduce our carbon footprint, as well as provide a cleaner, healthier diaper for our baby, but it’s FABULOUS to have an unlimited amount of diapers we can use in a month for a flat fee. New moms — this is wonderful because when your baby pees or poops in the middle of a diaper change (which mine does often) you’re not thinking to yourself… «oh man, this is gonna go to the landfill too» or «oh man, there’s another quarter!». OK, so maybe not everyone thinks that to themselves, but I certainly do. I think the best part of having a diaper service, though, is having a week’s worth of diapers delivered every week, like clockwork — no running out in the middle of the night because you just ran out of them… It’s been fabulous!
But like the other reviewer said, the best part about Austin Diaper Service is the service I’ve received from Jorge. He’s so lovely and caring and does whatever he can to help make things easier for us moms. And how many people can we really say makes being a mom easier??? Not too many! ;) We also had a diaper emergency on a Sunday afternoon and he went out of his way to bring us the diapers we needed (and take away the stinky ones). He gets an A+ in my book!
I recommend Austin Diaper Service VERY HIGHLY and hope that you’ll consider using cloth diapers for your little one.

Unbelievable service! We were keen on doing the whole cloth diapering with our newborn, registered with ADS ahead of time thru Austin Baby and haven’t looked back since! What HAS changed was the unexpected personal service we have rec’d from the owner/​operator Jorge.
Jorge has just moved up my personal list of Very Imp. People since my baby’s birth. We ran out of the diapers that fit and didn’t realize this in the late night haze and so I contacted Jorge and HE DROPPED OFF more of the right size within the HOUR! And this is SUNDAY!!! It was a diaper emergency you see (parents know this emergency well). i have been so impressed with his service, it’s WELL worth the money.
Best of luck as you cloth diaper your wee one. It’s totally worth it to him/​her and the environment. No slower than regular diapering and the covers are much cuter. Do the right thing! Cloth it up!
