I’ve only gone to this store in Austin for over 10 years, I’ve seen staff come and go. I think they are pretty nice for the most part but tonight my mom made a joke that didn’t make much sense and God love her, she was just being silly but I could tell they just looked at her like WTF? So it was kinda rude on their part because even as we stepped our after making our purchases, they were totally talking crap right at the counter and very easily I could see it through the glass. Not very respectable; you may have good products but your staff was not so gracious this time.

Terrible experience here with the manager, Lindsay. So bad, that she made me want to discontinue using Aveda products altogether. I filed a complaint with Aveda and all I got was a response e-​mail in the form of a questionnaire. They don’t value their customers at all.

I’ve been an avid user of Aveda products since 1988. I love this lifestyle store. Talk to Alex — she is the best! She knows the products inside and out and will make the best recommendations for your hair and skin type.
The store is an oasis of relaxation in a bustling mall (Barton Creek Square). You’re welcomed with a soothing cup of tea and offered a 5-​minute neck and shoulder or hand massage.
In addition to selling some of the best products on the planet, it’s a great mini-​retreat for the middle of a stressful workday.
If only I could afford a product every day to have an excuse to visit daily!
