Austin Window Tint

Really good job on tinting the windows. All of my questions were answered before and afterwards. This would have been a five star review if not for a few surprising lapses in professionalism.
They left the plastic backing from the portal tints in my back seat. I don’t appreciate garbage being left in my car. It shows that they don’t pay much attention to cleanup and makes me wonder on what other details they don’t pay attention. They also didn’t clean the outside of any of my windows when they were done. They left big water and soap stains on the outside from when they measured and cut the tint. I had to wash them myself when I got home.
Finally and most upsetting is that there was a giant 8″ high and 6″ long scuff on my back bumper on the far passenger side. It was 100% not there before I came into Austin Window Tint. This is a brand new car and I’m constantly examining the body so much so that I notice a tiny dab of bird poop. I’m not going to file a claim because I was able to buff 90% of the scuff out but it still left a permanent scar that you can see if you’re a few feet away. Disappointed.

I have had tint done on over a dozen vehicles in Cali and Oregon. When I moved to Texas and bought a new car, I couldn’t seem to find anyone willing to tint the way I wanted, in fact most places were just down right rude! When I called Austin Window Tint it was obvious they were different. Charlie was super nice and professional over the phone! David did an awesome tint job and his wife and 2 dogs made my daughter and I feel welcome and comfortable while we waited! This is by far the best tint shop in Texas! I will be back again when I trade in my lease and get another new car!

I knew this was the right choice when I saw my fellow Unilocalers give it glowing reviews. But I *REALLY* knew when I talked to the man who answered the phone.
I was still in the showroom getting my new car ready to drive home, and I called to ask for an estimate on window tint. David at Austin Window Tine took the time not only to give me several quotes, but took the time to educate me on the different types of tine, and why each one has a specific purpose.
He handled all of my questions with cheer, and I scheduled a time with him on a Saturday. Not only was my car done on time, but the tint looks amazing. He offered several choices for the darkness of the tint, and helped me find the right one for me.
So… amazing service, locally-​owned, quality product, good pricing, timely delivery. Does it get better?

We got a new Maserati and i was really looking to have a professional job done. I selected a place based primarily on Unilocal reviews. They did not disappoint. Made an appointment, greeted politely, explained the options and immediately started work. It was done in a couple of hours and has worked out great. No problems. Our windows don’t have frames so they automatically go down a little as you open the door. They explained to me that sometimes causes problems after the initial install. They said just bring it back if it happens and they would fix it. However, no problems at all and they look great. I would highly recommend them.

What can I say other than they live up to their reputation. They seem to have a good time with their work and in return it shows in their work. The old tint on my car was bubbling up and I couldn’t see out the back window. It now has a nice new, darker, fresh layer of tint and it’s crystal clear. Much easier to see out of and now my car is worth more. It looks like a million bucks!

Great Customer Service and Excellent Quality of Work is what you get at Austin Window Tint. I just happened to drop by to inquire about pricing and availability, and they were able to take my car right away and had it done in the time they told me it would take. I would recommend them to anyone.

Took my 2015 Silverado HD in and got tint after reading the reviews. They are all true. Excellent experience, super friendly.

These guy’s are excellent, very professional and helpful. The ceramic tint is excellent for reducing summer heat. I choose the limo tint for the back and 15 for the rest.
With the lifetime warranty, I feel comfortable knowing I have these guy’s working for me. Their work and craftsmanship is great.

In my opinion, all too often people misunderstand the term «taking care of the customer.» What it truly means, is going the extra mile. Not only meeting your customer’s needs, but making sure they leave more than satisfied. Austin Window Tint did exactly this, and took it a couple steps further…
To summarize, I had just bought a used honda civic from BMW of Austin earlier the same day. I then went straight to Austin window tint. I was immediately greeted by their genuine, friendly staff and they answered all of my questions patiently. I dropped off my car to have the windows tinted, and left them to do their work. I received a call exactly when promised, and went over to pick up the car. It looked literally perfect. I forgot to mention, I have to read people for a living, and I can always tell when fake people are trying to be real. These people are as friendly, real, and skilled as the day is long.
While they were wrapping things up, I explained I had just purchased the car, and one of their staff helped me check the fluids in my newly acquired used vehicle. Oil and coolant were both dangerously low. (I thought dealors were supposed to check this stuff!) They sympathised and provided extra coolant they had on hand… Here’s the best part… They offered… I didn’t ask! I even had to argue with the guy just to get him to take the cash (tip) I was offerring him. I was then provided a complementary trip to a local auto parts place to acquire more oil (It didn’t even register on the dipstick). Needless to say, I wish I could give Austin Window Tint 10 stars. This was truly an excellent experience, in a very industrial looking location. A diamond in the ruff!

What can I say? All the 5 star reviews pretty much tell you what you need to know and the only review I see that’s not 5 stars came from some guy who never even became a customer and just sounds like an entitled grump. Plus if you look at that guy’s other reviews, they are almost all 1 or 2 star. Eventually one has to ask if the problem is everyone else or him. Just sayin’.
At any rate, Austin Window Tint has done both my cars and the windows at my business. Quick, professional, great price, great looking high quality tint and for my business windows, we noticed an immediate improvement on the efficiency of the AC, which was exactly what we were hoping for.
Awesome folks who treat you right. No need to go anywhere else!

I waited about 4 months to write this review because I wanted to see if the tint would hold up.
Easy 5 stars. Everyone was friendly, they worked very fast, and the work is perfect. I think with tints, it’s either done right or not. This was done right. Not one bubble. Alignment is perfect.
I was scared at first because it looked horrible, but he told me it would tighten up and it would look great after getting some sun on it. Thank goodness he was right. That’s just the process I guess. I let it sit outside for hours and it looked perfect the next day.
Very professional work and friendly staff. I’d come back if I had another vehicle that needed tints!

These folks installed a 2 DIN receiver in my ’02 Ford Sport Track. It had to have some minor mods to make the unit fit into a 1.75 DIN dash opening. It looks OEM!
These guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, and more than competent. Great job!
