Very good ice cream and very clean. The ladies working tonight were so friendly. They washed their hands before and after every customer. Highly recommend

We went for the first time on Sunday. It was very clean and the colors on the wall were fun to look at. Staff was friendly and we got service right away. The ice-cream was good and not overpoweringly sweet. There are plenty of choices to chose from too for toppings. I do have to dock it one star though because of the $$. It’s a little more expensive than other ice cream stores in the area and also costed 70¢ extra to put some sprinkles on top of my toddlers ice cream? Now I can see 10¢ or even 25¢ but 70 seemed high for sprinkles.

I liked this place a lot. I will admit that I might prefer Amy’s a little bit but this is still really good. Didn’t get to try the playground but we will for sure next time.

I assume this place is the same one I’m trying to review. We went to the food cart they have for Trucklandia, where you buy wristbands and participating food trailers give you samples. Wow! They gave us three scoops, vanilla, some strawberry flavor and chocolate. All were good, but the chocolate knocked our socks off! It had an amaretto flavor in it. If you like ice cream this place is good.

I had no idea about this place and might have assumed it was some dingy Amy’s or Baskin Robbins knock off but it is neither of those things. True, they have mix-ins and a cold stone to mix-them on on, and some interesting flavors, but, I actually really like the texture of their ice cream(Amy’s is too sticky to me) and I like that it seems natural enough that it won’t leave a weird film in your mouth after eating it(looking at you, BR). Where this place really wins though, is the ice cream cake. It is super affordable compared to other places and is pretty much 90% ice cream and super awesome thick frosting. There is only the tiniest layer of cake at the bottom. It’s pretty awesome. I may get one for my birthday! I definitely need to find out more about the magical frosting they use.

Tasted old and way too sweet. Will not return. Store bought ice cream will easily taste better.

This is my favorite ice cream place by far! Their ice cream is so creamy and refreshing! I’m a very picky ice cream eater and one thing I hate most is ice cream that makes you so thirsty because it’s extremely concentrated and thick, leaving you feeling gross. This ice cream has never made me feel that way and I crave it! Service is great, everyone is so nice and welcoming. Hands down best ice cream in Austin. You won’t be disappointed!

Good ice cream. Not my favorite. I got cookies and cream with Oreos on top. The cookies and cream ice cream was basically vanilla. Glad I added the Oreos. I think it’s a bit expensive($ 6). I can go to Amy’s and get vanilla with chocolate chip cookies, cookie dough and Oreos mixed in for $ 5. BUT My mom got the butter pecan and found it to be very good, one of the best. Nice and creamy. So I guess you’ll just have to go and try it out to find out for yourself :)

THEBEST tasting, creamy, gelato-like ice cream in Austin! A matter of fact might be the best I’ve ever had outside of Italy — he he he. Vanilla, Chocolate Amaretto, Sweet Cream, Birthday Cake are all extremely good! We’ll be heading back for more! Bye bye Amy’s Ice Cream. Not sure what the hype is about.

Owners responded to my review and apologized. I advised them to try harder to keep from running out of things. Their response is a good sign.

Doesn’t get even close to as good as Amy’s. My son won’t eat it. I would but there are better options out there for the calorie spend. The kids that run the counter are nice but I couldn’t get the owner to email or call back.

I gave Amy’s a 4 star and I’m giving this a 5 star because I like the flavors A LOT better. Man they have some great flavors and there are more of them. They also have shaved ice, too!

I’ve been here many times because it is convenient and my family likes ice cream. I’m writing this to rave about an ice cream cake we bought for a birthday. It was delicious! Everyone loved it. I’m not a huge ice cream person. In fact, I often don’t order anything for myself when we go here. However, I really enjoyed the vanilla bean+vanilla cake we had tonight. The frosting tasted kind of like marshmallow cream and was quite special according to all. We will definitely buy an ice cream cake again.

Came in here 30 minutes before closing and was pretty impressed with this joint. The cookies n cream and raspberry cheesecake are the and handmade right in store. First off, love that it’s in the Circle C Ranch area, but the fact that this place contributed to Joey Chesnut breaking the World Record for eating 1.25 gallons of ice cream in less than 5 minutes is awesome! Um, we will definitely be back to satisfy our frequent ice cream cravings

It’s ok. It’s ice cream so I don’t hate it but I probably won’t be back. I tried the deep dark chocolate mixed with Nilla wafers(this was a total impulse decision — I haven’t had them in years) and it just didn’t hit the spot. I was eating my ice cream, looking at HEB, and wishing I had, instead, gone in there to buy some Ben & Jerry’s or Blue Bell. The chocolate dipped waffle cone was pretty good. Nice enough employee. Atmosphere was fine.

Adam was really craving ice cream last night after a horrible dinner experience. I wish I was craving it too, because this place did not disappoint. They homemake their ice cream right in house, using local Texas dairy and no hormones, organic, blahblahblah. I was nauseous from the horrible dinner experience we had just prior, so I settled with a sample of the Birthday Party ice cream and it was so so so great! Adam got Sweet Cream with a few mix ins, which they mix on top of a slab of cold stone! The best part, is when you walk in, there’s a cooler of homemade dog ice cream in cute little doggy bags :) three ice cream bones for $ 2.50 which is a steal. Peanut butter and soy, so no dairy diarrhea which is a treat in itself to clean up: P

Maybe I just set my expectations too high or maybe I am just a girl who knows what she wants and this was definitely not it. I came here 2 times before writing this to validate my opinion. I just can’t seem to find this ice cream worthy. It’s very sub-par and bland. Ice cream is supposed to be extravagant and delish! It’s supposed to make your taste buds cry with tears of happiness. I just find Austin scoops to be the amateur of ice cream. Staff is really friendly and their Austin mural is very nice but as far as ice cream go… Eek! Me thinks not.

Great little neighborhood ice-cream shop. It’s pretty no-frills, but the ice-cream is delicious and they have a variety of flavors. What more do you really need?

I don’t really have a sweet tooth but from time to time I’ll try an ice cream cone. I passed Austin Scoops stand at the COTA event. The price is high, $ 8 for a single scoop. I ordered birthday cake. The guy told me it comes with a free topping. I changed my mind halfway and asked for butter pecan and with whipped cream. He must have misheard me, because I still got the birthday cake but with two toppings: pecan and whipped cream! This is one of the best ice cream cones I’ve ever had. Usually I find them too sweet and melts quickly in the Texas heat. This is the first time that I finished the entire cone from start to finish. Jason got watermelon shaved ice, it does not hold a candle to my ice cream cone for obvious reasons. Here are some highlights: — the cone is thick, crispy, fresh — the pecan is fresh and fat — ice cream is made of top quality ingredients — the wrapper is plastic with a flipped rim to catch the drippings, so you won’t get your hands dirty(genius design)
