Dr. Bledsoe has consistently provided excellent service year in and year out. She is extremely professional and has a delightful personality. I am grateful for the time and effort she has devoted to providing exceptional health care. It would definitely be five star service if the wait time could be reduced.

Came to this family practice last minute as a new patient for some serve acid reflux. Immediately as I walk in it smells like a chamber of death. Not only do they have like 10 doctors, there’s people everywhere. I get called 2 minutes after checking in and the MA was surprised when I haven’t completed my forms right away. The MA looked tired and over worked and when asking me questions, phrased them in ways to make me sound ignorant? After the doctor finally came in 40 minutes after my original appointment time, she simply listened to me for 5 minutes — told me to try some over the counter stuff and shamed me multiple times for drinking alcohol on a weekly basis… This lady literally suggested I «get more sleep and stop drinking alcohol» when I told her I was having trouble focusing. Finally after I told her I could have gotten that advice at HEB, she looked at me in the face and addressed me as a customer. This place SUCKS. The atmosphere sucks, the doctor I saw (Dr. Thadani) sucks, and I won’t be back here.

My doctor is Dr. Carson Higgs. He is absolutely amazing, he listens intently and tries to work with you in what the best treatment would be. He’s not the type of Doctor who will step in and see you for only five minutes. He cares about is patients. The staff and nurses are all very helpful too!

Dr. Maya Bledsoe is the most caring, attentive and professional doctor I’ve ever had. I feel so blessed to have found her. ARC is lucky to have her on their staff. She is amazing!

Dr. Joseph Garcia is a Godsend. I recently had to have my gall bladder removed and he was completely professional, on-​point with information, and advised exactly what to expect before, during, and after my surgery. I am eternally grateful to his expertise and knowledge. He got me through some of the WORST pain I have ever had in my life. (I’ve had some doozies.) This guy is my hero and I recommend him for your surgeon. My surgery on average would have taken 45 minutes. He used a robot and I only had one incision through my navel to have my gall bladder taken out. Healing time was much shorter than the average gall bladder removal and my surgery was only 35 minutes long. I was done before I knew I was in. FANTASTIC!!! I feel great! I gave him a huge hug and let him know this was going on Unilocal.

The pediatric staff here is AMAZING! What a difference from our other ARC pediatric experience at Far West! They were super patient with our kiddo and all of our questions — this is our new kiddo doctor spot for now.

I have been here a few times to see my family doctor. I was always taken in at my appointment time and seen by the doctor shortly after speaking with the nurse. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The doctors here are great, really really great. I would give the doctors five stars. BUT! The office staff is rude and unpleasant.
The office staff argues with me about what my appointments are for so I end up having to schedule for stuff I don’t need. Then they argue with me about my balance when I tell them it was taken out of my HSA. Then when the lab makes a mistake, which isn’t a big deal, and the office calls to let me know I need to come back in and I tell them I’ll be in at 11:45 tomorrow during my lunch so of course they don’t make an appointment and I waste half my lunch waiting. Also while I was waiting in line to check in they helped other people who came in after me, wasting even more of my time because I guess they didn’t like how I looked.
0 stars for bad office staff.

Dr. Dollar and the nurse, Anne, are amazing. I made a sick appointment in no time — except when I walked into the office I was in unexpected respiratory distress. The receptionist immediately recognized something was wrong and called the doctor & nurse. I ended up having a collapsed lung, and they called over to the ER to let them know I was coming. They were great at making sure I stayed calm — I know they don’t usually see «emergent» cases but they did a really good job! I went back after I was discharged from the hospital and they did a very thorough exam.

I’ve been Dr. Bledsoe’s patient for 10 years and she’s been wonderful. Her staff had always been great as well. I’m usually in and out quicker than anticipated.

Great location, great staff and office is very clean and comfortable. I love that I can see my doctor and get my labs in the same office. I have Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and I haven’t had any problems with my insurance.
It’s located in the Plaza side of the Seton NW hospital building.

On the plus side the staff and doctor were super kind, but that might have been because the patient got very sick after taking the medication they prescribed.
I had to bring my friend to her doctor, because one of the doctors prescribed Xanax and told them to take it to help sleep. It turns out my friend took too many, because she couldn’t sleep, and she ended up having no memory of taking the pills, and took too many of them. The doctor ended up sending us to the ER for further evaluation/​observation.

Pretty good overall, and Dr. Powell was fine, but I left for the following reason. I got a call from a nurse saying they wouldn’t refill my prescription the next time without me coming in for an office visit. That would mean they changed from requiring me to come in yearly or so (although I might see them every 6 months for one reason or another) to coming in quarterly. When I asked the reason for the change, she insisted there was no change. Please don’t insult my intelligence. She said she’d double check with the doctor and call me back if he had anything to add; she never did. I waited 10 days and emailed the clinic feedback line (politely) asking what the nature of the change was (a couple of months ago) and no reply. Now, I don’t care if it’s Obamacare, the FDA, the DEA, the doctor thinks I’m crazy, whatever the reason is, but I shouldn’t have to pay for an office visit to get the answer to this particular question. So now I have a new doctor who is not only closer, but who I expect will be just as honest and forthright with me as I have always been with my providers.

I give this clinic three stars because of the staff and nurse. I went in to see a podiatrist recently and the front desk wasn’t rude… they just seemed more like an auto repair front desk type demeanor. But then when the nurse called me back she was very agitated with the front desk because they didnt set the paperwork up how she wanted it. I thought it was pretty inappropriate of her to not only be agitated in front of me but then complain to me about it. It was weird and awkward. I suppose because I was there for a foot problem that the bedside manner isnt the same as if I went in for a mammogram? The clinic itself is modern and up to date… very nice. But the people who work there are strange for medical staff.

DO NOT get a primary care physician here if you have an HMO!
I had no problem with my doctor, but the staff is awful. I was in a lot of pain, and Aetna was having me jump through hoops before I could see a specialist. ARC needed to submit a request to begin the process. I called and they said to simply fax the form with instructions. Easy, right?
WRONG! 2.5 weeks, 4 faxes, 6 HOURS of phone calls (including crying to Aetna twice) later, it still hadn’t been submitted. Sure, there’s a chance the staff tried to submit it, but I wouldn’t know because they NEVER followed my instructions to call or email me afterwards to let me know. So I wrote them an extremely vulgar fax. Only then (after even MORE hand-​holding from me) did my request get submitted.
I have never encountered a staff that was not willing to go the extra mile to deal with insurance for me. After all, it’s THEIR JOB, not mine. In the end, I got a letter saying they fired me as their patient. HA! As if I would have ever continued to be their patient after that.
If they want to encourage incompetence, fine. I’ll find a doctor’s office that cares.

OUTSTANDING Service!!!
I had an issue that needed immediate attention and Dr. Kravitz came through! I was able to get an appointment to see him the same day and then, he and his nurse spent a lot of time with me going over my issues, testing, and options. I was then able to get in to see a specialist the same day. Then, after 6:00 the same day I received a call from Dr. Kravitz himself to let me know about the results of my testing. I couldn’t be happier with the service that I received from the staff at Austin Regional Clinic.

Dr. Date (pronounced Dotty) is wonderful. She takes her time, is friendly and thorough. I really enjoy having her as my doc!

This is the location of ARC that’s closest to where I live right now. It’s usually pretty easy to get a same-​day appointment (I’m a procrastinator that tries to avoid going to the doctor… although I work with them every day) and, if you can’t, they’ll look it up and tell you if any of the nearby locations have available appointments.
The waiting area is clean, with plenty of seating… today was the first day I’ve seen it relatively crowded. This is also the first doctor’s office I’ve visited where they had masks for people with coughs to wear, along with tissues and hand sanitizer… bravo for preventing the spread of infection! There’s an in-​house lab, so you can get blood work and other routine labs done before you see the doctor and the results are pretty speedy. They also electronically transmit whatever prescriptions deemed necessary to your pharmacy of choice, so you can pretty much leave and head straight to the pharmacy for pickup.
The docs are all family practice or internal medicine, so they have a wide variety of knowledge about most any ailment. Seems, though, that the doctors I’ve seen haven’t actually given me verbal diagnoses, something I’d like to know… but they do give me the meds that it takes to make it all better, most of the time. There has been a time or two that they’re pretty much told me that whatever illness I had was already almost finished and to «let it run it’s course.» Irritating, because that’s what I’d been TRYING to do, to no avail and ended up in the doctor’s office in the first place! No matter.
I’ll continue coming here because it’s convenient and they take my insurance. Maybe I’ll cut back on the procrastination, just a bit.
