Give 2 stars because was reasonable price and after delivery washer didn’t work owner was right out to fix. Now 2 months later it doesn’t dispense cold water and also leaks and flooded my apartment. I had to purchase a shop vac and fans to dry carpet out. I got in touch with them they said they would try and get someone out yesterday or today they would get back with me. I got no response tried again and nothing. Guess I’m just out money I spent or to pay someone else to repair. I did searching on cold water issue and its fairly common water valve goes bad but this washer is fairly high tech and its a $ 120 part. I bought used because I have limited income and they seemed fair on prices and honest about warranty. But now that it’s an actual problem not just an unplugged door switch seems like they don’t want to make right. Guess I should be happy I almost got 2 months for my $ 340

If I could leave –5 stars I would! The hours they say they will be there they aren’t. Both times I asked what there hours were I came within those hours and they weren’t there. Then the washers agitator broke and I made an appointment for them to come fix it and they didn’t make it at the time they that they said they would. They always have an excuse, family emergency, worker didn’t show up, not enough workers. Not my problem. I wasn’t going to write a review until this last incident. I thought it’s a family run business and I will give them the benefit of the doubt but it was a bad choice.

Needed to get a washer/​dryer for my girlfriend and looked at various options. Found these guys and decided to give them a try.
Looked at their small lot, decided on a set and was quoted $ 250 with a 60 day warranty. Figured, what the heck. Bought it, delivered it myself and the machines are running very well.
Several things to note: the hours on Unilocal are inaccurate. Check their actual website.
Call ahead. I did have to wait a little bit for them to arrive.
Deliveries can cost up to $ 60.00 so ASK.
Make sure to check your electrical connections at your residence so that the correct wiring can be provided.

I’m so excited to get my refrigerator from these people. They are willing to do free delivery, free install and keep an eye out for our exact needs. Virginia was super sweer on the phone. Couldn’t ask for better service and a more genuine person.
I’ll update my post once we get the machine, and again several months down the road based on our experience with the product, but these people deserve to be known about!
UPDATE: I’m a bad person for forgetting to do this — we are SUPER happy with our refrigerator and the service we received. Had a few early requests (just being picky) with the ice maker, and they were all over fixing it and never gave us a hard time. Great people — so happy we did this. :)

We wanted to buy a washer and dryer but the day we were going to have it delivered, we ended up not being able to be there. Ernie was already on the road heading that way and he turned around and came back. They were super accommodating and are amazing people. I’m so glad we bought from them! They will do maintenence on the units if we need it and that’s not something that happens everywhere you go. I highly recommend this family!

Ruben came out with a (new to us) washer & dryer whirlpool large capacity 1 of the 6 children we still have in the house thought it to be a good idea to combine two loads
of towels in our old dryer it did not live long! that left us in need of one now went on
line talk to a couple of companies talked to Ernie explained what I needed they have
a set at a great price with a 30 day warranty & they can deliver as well on a holiday
weekend 1 hour later Ruben was at our home installing the units appliances both washer & dryer are clean & in great shape. (Nice folks) will recommend them to any one in need

This purchase was our second dealing with JJ’s Appliance. We got a fridge a few months and when our dryer went out I saw their post on Craig’s List. I trusted them enough to look at picture and send a text for delivery. They arrived at stated time and when he was installing the dryer he saw something amiss & promptly made if right. He repaired my damaged vent hose, hooked all up nicely and hauled off my old dryer. I will call them for all my used appliances. Maybe they can help me find my vintage gas stove when times comes for me remodel!

A few months ago I was looking for a washer/​dryer set for my new apartment. I looked for quite a while and couldn’t locate a good deal, until I found JJ’s. I originally called them for a single washer/​dryer pair I saw advertised, but when I arrived they had a good selection, about 4 – 5 pairs to choose from. There was a good range of prices, about $ 170-​$ 240 per pair, and I ended up spending a little more on a pair that better matched my needs.
The shop was ran by a father and son who were very nice and very dedicated to their work. They delivered and installed the units with their own truck to my third-​floor apartment. I informed them of my four-​pronged wall outlet and they had the proper adapters on hand. When everything was finished they gave me a quick run through of proper use and care for the washer/​dryer pair and gave me a 30-​day warranty on it all. The father was genuinely concerned that the units were installed correctly, that I was given proper knowledge of their use, and that I could call him if I had any questions or troubles.
I’ve been using my washer/​dryer set almost daily for the last 4 months with no issues whatsoever. This shop deserves to have more people hear about it. This is quality, sincere service at a great price.
EDIT: 3+ years later and not a single issue with either washer or dryer.
