Andres Lopez is funny and professional. He was very informative on the phone and sent me a text reminder with all the details for class. The class size was large and perhaps the space could have been better for a few less participants. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the content and feel like I learned a lot. The class was also reasonably priced and they have various dates to pick from.
Tip to save your knees: Bring a pillow to kneel on. I have a knot on my knee the size of a base ball from kneeling to do compression’s. I wish that the website or the instructor had mentioned that.

Class is really informative and you will leave feeling prepared should you need to give CPR. Not to mention Andres is a nice guy, a good teacher and wont waste your time. If I had to bet on the best CPR class in town my money would be on Austin CPR Experts.

Great small class size, comprehensive, and easy to understand. A great way to take this BLS course! In and out in a hurry because everyone has their own dummy to work with. Andres is personable and knows his stuff. Affordable too @ $ 55. North and South Austin locations for classes — I did a Saturday morning class at the 35/​Oltorf location!

I needed my BLS card in a hurry and Andres made it happen. Conveniently located off I 35, the process was easy and slightly cheaper than the American Red Cross! I highly recommend this place!

My instructor at Austin CPR classes through Life Compressions was Andres Lopez. They offer many available times for CPR classes after work hours, as well as offering one on one classes for a bit of a higher fee. It was very quick to add my name to the list for the next available course. Andres provided us with some humor throughout the course which made it a much more laid back and enjoyable experience, while still being able to learn the necessary skills. He was able to provide each member of the class with their own dummy, so we were all able to practice together and the course went by faster. It was $ 55 for the BLS Healthcare provider course and you are required to take a brief quiz at the end of the course if you are working as a healthcare professional. They go through one person rescuer for adult/​child/​infant, 2 person rescuer for adult/​child/​infant as well as choking and using the AED.
