Austin Biplane

My husband and I celebrated our 30^th anniversary on new years eve, so we decided to do something really special. We called Rob and made arrangements to take the sunset biplane ride which flies over the city of Austin, seeing the sites of downtown buildings, over town lake, and over lake travis. It was wonderful. The day was cloudy so we didn’t get to see an awesome sunset, but that didn’t spoil a thing. The lights of downtown, and over the lake was gorgeous. Many homes over lake travis were still decorated with Christmas lights. It was so beautiful. But the most awesome thing, was the plane ride. Rob is an excellent pilot. When we took off, it was like being lifted up in an air baloon. You hardly knew you’d left the ground, and the landing was the smoothest landing of any plane we’ve ever been on. Not scary at all, just so much fun. He was amazing. So knowledgeable and confident. I would recommend this to anyone looking to do something special. And thanks to Rob, this was one of the most romantic things my husband and I have ever done. We appreciate his doing this; putting others before himself. Thanks for taking us on New Years Eve. You get to be part of many peoples romantic experiences because of your heart. Wishing you love and blessings in 2016.

Just when I thought Austin couldn’t get any better, enter: AUSTIN BIPLANE. This was such a unique and fun way to explore the city; my only regret is I’ve waited so long to try it!
When buddy came into town, I decided I wanted to do something a little different than the normal touristy things… I’d seen this plane a few times so I figured it was a great opportunity to see what the hype is all about. I/​we were not disappointed! I found the pilot to be very knowledgeable and professional (former military), adding an unexpected and entertaining dimension to the flight. We also opted for the souvenir photo and video… well worth it.
This was my first ride… but it definitely won’t be my last. Thanks, Capt Rob!

Spent a weekend in Austin and among all the great experiences, this was by far the highlight of our trip. There is no better view of the city and the service was top notch. Glad to see a zoomie making the ring knockers proud.

This was without a doubt my boyfriend and I’s favorite experience we’ve ever had. The views are spectacular and it’s both a total rush and completely magical. I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday by taking him here (he loved it and said it was the best gift he’s ever gotten!) and we’ve already decided we’re going to go every few months — it’s that good! It’s very much worth the price, makes a great birthday or anniversary gift, is a fun and unique activity to do on the weekend and a special treat for out of town visitors. Try it, try it, try it! I’m a local and this is the best experience the city has to offer. If you really want to wow somebody and squeal with excitement, this is for you. It absolutely took my breath away. There’s no words to describe this… Really. I took my boyfriend up for his birthday and we cannot wait to go again! WOW!!! Thank you SO MUCH!!!
