History

Established in 2007.

Martin Whitton, owner and lead photographer, has been photographing people and events in Austin for almost 10 years. Martin and his Austin Americana Team of photographers regularly photograph Central Texas Weddings, photographing 75+ weddings and related events in 2009 alone. He has extensive experience photographing events, portraits and studio photography work with numerous clients in Austin, Texas.

Thank you for visiting my yelp page! I would like to share why I’m passionate about photography and what I strive to do for my clientele, which I think is different. I’ve traveled worldwide and I feel like everyone in every place has a story to tell, which can be captured by the camera lens. Each wedding I photograph and each couple that are involved have a special story and it’s my job to capture that story and the emotions involved. Some things that I strive to do better as a photojournalist and as a business owner are through my customer service and my professionalism. I let my clients know that they are important by responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner (sometimes instantaneously). And when I am on hand to photograph a wedding, I put my best foot forward by dressing appropriately (normally wearing slacks and a tie, for example) and respecting the sanctity of such an important day.
