I was the biggest skeptic you can imagine when it comes to acupuncture, but I have to say I am now the biggest convert! Acupuncture works – there is no doubt about it.
I was sure I would live my whole life in pain – it had been that way for 25 years and I had no reason to believe it would be any different. When the pain became so severe that it was hard for me to stand, walk, sit or lie down, I went to Katie. Katie was sure she could help me, and she worked hard on my multiple problems with the result that I am now pain free.
I have seen her work miracles with my elderly mother and father-​in-​law, and many friends.
Katie not only knows what she’s doing with acupuncture, her friendly and warm approach to her patients aids in the healing process. Katie has also helped me with an herbal treatment that has been most amazing.
I agree with Lori’s review, «I can’t give Katie enough stars…» If you are considering acupuncture, I believe Katie provides the very best care available.

I can’t give Katie enough stars. I’ve been getting acupuncture from her for… seven years now! I’ve followed her around town as she has moved offices (she now works out of her house).
I had never had acupuncture before when I came to see her due to knots in my back due to stress. She was very clear about explaining what she was going to do, so I knew exactly what to expect. She checked on me multiple times after she put the needles in to make sure I was doing OK.
She knows exactly what she’s doing. I recently went to her for a semi-​emergency session because I’d severely strained a muscle in my neck (in an embarrassingly stupid way). She didn’t laugh at my explanation, and funnily enough, she put a needle in my shin area and told me to start slowly moving my neck. It loosened up within about 60 seconds. She did some additional needles in my neck while I laid face-​down, and my day of pain was over. Although she doesn’t work weekends, she’s very accommodating if you’re in acute pain.
Katie is an extraordinarily kind person who cares about you. I will keep following her if she moves again.

I have wanted to have acupuncture since 1990 when I learned about it. Wow. what an experience! words can’t describe so just try it. :) Bliss…

My stress is less and I feel better after 2 times. I think I love this. I KNOW i love this. So, if you have ever thought about it DO it. It is amazing.

I’ve suffered from terrible allergies my whole life (except the one year I moved from Austin to Colorado, but that’s beside the point). Every year as the oak pollen count in austin would rise, so would my miserableness. I basically had 2 options: 1. Take some allergy medicine that would help somewhat with my allergies, but also make me completely spacey and useless, or 2. don’t take the medication and suffer. I worked out a system, so that if I was working, I wouldn’t take medication and suffer but still be able to use my brain, and if I wasn’t working then I’d take medication and spend my day being worthless and brain dead.
Then came a third option. Katie. I always thought that acupuncture could be helpful for some things, minor things like small aches or stress. I never thought it could work for such a severe issue, like I was experiencing with allergies. Long story short, my life in Austin is a lot more bearable nowadays. I just went in for treatments a few times before the oak pollen count went up, and barely had any issues over the spring. It was amazing. She also helped with some sciatica issues and back pain, but for me the allergy treatments have been an absolute blessing. If you have allergy problems, I would highly recommend seeing Katie, or trying acupuncture in general. You wont regret it.
