All Access Garage Doors

Great Customer Service.
Installer Adam was very professional and very focused on customer service. Our garage doors had outlived their usefulness, but Adam was honest enough to tell us that only 1 motor needed to be replaced, saving us a considerable amount on the total job.
We can recommend this business totally.

Adam was easy to work with and I appreciated him working with my schedule. Very responsive and finished replacing my broken springs quickly. I recommend all access. As a side note, I thought they were a local Austin company. I realized they are not when I received a customer satisfaction call from California. I was a tad disappointed by that.

Guy who came out (Adam I think?) was nice and on time. I had an Amazon Local deal for a reconditioning and replacing the rollers. He did that work fine.
What I didn’t like was his hard sell (and either lies or incompetence) for additional work. I told him that the inspector noted some binding issues, but the problem I’m having now is that remotes stopped working and that for me to close my garage door, I have to keep pressing down on the button inside the garage. He proceeds to tell me that the entire door needs to be replaced and recommends replacing the entire garage door opener. The sensors were the reason I have to press and hold the button, but the remotes not working, well that’s because of a transponder issue and you can’t just replace that. Besides, the motor looks like it’s on its last leg and the spring needs to be replaced. If you add all of that up it’d be more than half the cost of getting everything new. He started throwing numbers out to prove his case and mentioning more and more issues with my garage door, very large ranges of numbers that didn’t seem to add up. After I told him that I was not going to worry about that now, I was going to do some research, figure out my priorities with the repairs on the new house, etc, he continued to repeat the items that «need replacement» and continued to throw numbers out there (and the numbers he threw out changed with each statement he made). Yes, I was tired and hot from mowing the lawn so I was very irritable, but good God, stop trying to sell me on this, the more you talk the less I trust you!
Oh, and he swore up and down that there is not a home warranty plan out there that covers garage door openers. (which mine does, as well as several others I looked up once he left). I told him that I was not going to decide on that now, just do the work for the Amazon deal.
Anyway, a day or two later I called my home warranty, they sent someone out from Access Door Systems. The guy that came out (the very next day, might I add) took a look at it and determined that the sensors just had a loose wire, which was the cause of all of my problems. The spring didn’t need to be replaced, just stretched a bit — it was installed too tight. He also said that there’s no way a «transponder» would need to be replaced, not in a system like mine. That’s apparently not a common garage door technician term? He went ahead and fixed the spring (though I’m not sure it is covered under the warranty), fixed the sensors, and sprayed some spots on the door, all for the $ 60 home warranty service price. My garage door works again, with a single press of a button and the remotes work too.
If you use All Access for a specific serviced that you know needs to be done, great. But don’t trust his expertise for determining what work needs to be done for your garage door. For that, go to a place like Access Door Systems.

Guy who did the estimate was perfectly nice and on time. He quoted me for repairs but also for a replacement door. Ended up getting a quote and the job done for about $ 300 cheaper from another company. All Access charges you $ 25 for an estimate (which is applied to your service if you end up using them– I did not). Please note that this is a national company– not a local Austin business. I thought it was a local biz, which is important to me. After I got the estimate, I received one call per day from their San Francisco home office basically badgering me into using their service for 13 days. Super obnoxious. Suggest going with another, local company.

My garage door was making horrible noises while operating. I called All Access and couldn’t be more happy from the moment they answered the phone until they left from fixing my door at such a low cost. The tech was very knowledgeable and quick, arrived on time, and even the receptionist on the phone calling after the service call for quality control was a real treat, very pleasant and fun to work with, kinda wish she would call again!!! Adam was incredibly prompt and friendly and did a great job tuning up my garage door and explaining what maintenance it needed.

We didn’t need anything major, our garage door was just squeaking and running a little rough, but we’d been putting off servicing it for fear it would cost too much. Our neighbor recommended All Access and the guy showed up on time, assessed what needed to be done, did the work in under an hour, and gave us a fair price. Knowing we have such a reliable and affordable service, we won’t wait so long next time! Highly recommend.

I am so glad I called All Access when my garage door broke down and refused to open. I went with this company because it had a Unilocal deal even though it only had one review. So happy I did! The technician was able to come over the same day and he was incredibly nice and professional. He told me what the problem was (broken springs) gave me a price that was within the range he estimated over the phone, and efficiently fixed the door. So simple and straightforward. Thanks!

I couldn’t be more pleased with All Access. From beginning to end, the process was smooth and easy. I had worried (needlessly) that the repair to our garage door was going to be a headache, both logistically and cost-​wise. But All Access kept everything simple and straightforward (and within the price I had been quoted). Moreover, our technician was as pleasant as he was efficient. I’m thinking I won’t be needing their service anytime soon, but I’d like to offer up this review in hopes that others benefit as I did. Thank you!
