We also offer innovative programs such as weekend intensives, community-​based programs, and intensive outpatient services. We are presently adding 24-​hour, non-​medical, crisis intervention. With more than 15 therapists, we have the diversity and expertise to deal with any presenting concern. Our therapists work together as a team to make sure you receive the best, most comprehensive services for whatever you’re dealing with. Our business division offers business consulting on-​site or at our offices, and we offer a money back satisfaction guarantee. Our professional training division offers ongoing, weekly continuing education opportunities for Licensed Professional Counselors, and Licensed Social Workers.

History

Established in 2012.

Alive Austin was created to begin to shift the paradigm in the world of mental health treatment. The present system is very compartmentalized, and fails to address the comprehensive issues many are dealing with. The current model is also more of a business model than a healing one. We are completely client-​driven. We don’t offer a service that the client has to fit into. We create the best solution for whatever the client is dealing with.

After working for 10 years as the director of the largest outpatient counseling center in central Texas, and seeing hundreds of clients as well as supervising hundreds of therapists seeing literally thousands of clients, it became clear to me that there was much that could be done to facilitate the healing of those suffering from mental health issues. So in 2012, I left that position to create Alive Austin.
