The Austin Stone Counseling Center

I had several sessions during summer of 2015. It was a great experience and I was able to process A LOT before moving to Houston! The Lord used this place in powerful ways to open my heart and change me. Counseling is no replacement for Jesus, but offers a way to live in the tension with a focus on Jesus. Counseling can teach you how to live out the gospel in areas that seem impossible!
Scheduling:
Sessions are booked online through their portal which is convenient.
Insurance and $$:
Insurance is not accepted, but they can give you a receipt to send to your insurance company for reimbursement. They are also willing to work with you if the full cost is too high.
Philosophy:
This is Christ-​centered counseling which means everything is processed through the lens of the gospel. (Gospel: People are imperfect, God is perfect. He sent his son Jesus as the ultimate sacrifice for our imperfection. His son rose again and offered us new life!) There is so much hope in Christian counseling.
