Classes limited to 6 students. Make new friends easily. Learn and have fun at the same time. Private one on one lessons available as well.

Enjoy free online video lessons, mp3 playalongs that are slow and easier to follow, and pdf files that you can print from home. All of this will help you become a better guitar player than a self taught student or students at other schools.

History

Established in 2011.

Early 2000’s — Taught private guitar lessons from home in east Austin.

January 2011 — Began teaching guitar classes from new home in the north Austin community of Wells Branch. Began building online class assignment pages and lessons.

July 2011 — Filed business name Alan’s Guitar Method with Travis County Clerk.

July 2012 — Became a member of The Better Business Bureau.

Business Owner

Alan plays acoustic and electric guitars. He likes many different genres of music as long as there’s a guitar in the music! He likes all types of rock music, folk, blues, jazz, and country.

His styles include strumming, finger picking, lead guitar, and styles used in hard rock.

Alan has written many songs with guitar and lyrics.
