The Aurora Inn is an historic hotel with 69 rooms, indoor pool and conference facilities. The hotel is located in Aurora’s Historic District at the intersection of Routes 82 and 306. The site marks the center of town and was originally used as a stagecoach stop in the 1800s. The Aurora Inn was built in 1927, and rebuilt after a dramatic fire in 1964. The Aurora Inn has long-served as the social hub for the City of Aurora.
This charming hotel and conference facility provides an ideal setting for all types of business and social events. The Aurora Inn is an alternative to the corporate setting of typical hotels.
Over the years, thousands of people have formed life-long memories at the Aurora Inn through weddings, reunions, celebrations, dinners, brunches or swimming at the hotel’s heated indoor pool. The Aurora Inn is deeply ingrained with history, personality and warmth.
In April 2014, the Aurora Inn was acquired by local owners and managers. Celebrity designer Genevieve Gorder and Cleveland architect David Krebs are preparing plans for a full renovation

History
Established in 1927.
Originally was a stagecoach stop in the 1800’s and was later transformed into a hotel in 1927. A dramatic fire caused it to be rebuilt in 1964. The hotel reopened its doors on New Years Eve 1964. The hotel is situated in the historic district in Aurora, OH which is located between Cleveland and Akron. The hotel underwent new ownership in April 2014 and is in the middle of a complete renovation.
