Jimmy Rooter is the type of business that represents integrity, professionalism and customer service that many claim but few achieve. I acquired their service to fix my Grandmother’s tub. The catch was I live in a completely different state and needed someone who was patient, professional and someone I could trust. This company was all that and more throughout the entire process. They did not attempt to take advantage through price gouging or supplying us with unneeded services and products, they simply did the job efficiently, effectively and to my Grandma’s satisfaction. Although this was my first experience with this company, it will not be the last, you can’t beat good people doing a great job.

Bought 3 new toilets on line and needed them installed. Jumped on Unilocal and requested several quotes. Jimmy Rooter responded quickly and quoted me a great figure based on my limited knowledge and research. All work was completed within 3 days. Small family run business. Jimmy Sr. & Jimmy Jr. came out and were awesome. Will call them again. Very pleased. Thanks!

I asked for a quote on a leaking shower tap on Saturday afternoon via Unilocal.I received a call in about an hour, and Jim was here to give me a quote at 7PM that evening! They came and did the work on Sunday afternoon. Not only were they nice people, they did a great job for an even greater price. Someone on Facebook I know was asking about a plumber recommendation, I did not hesitate in provider her with the information for Jimmy Rooter.
They were simply awesome. I will use them for all my plumbing needs.

Called on Memorial Day week for a clogged sewer pipe. Even though they were busy, Marcie gave me a referral and suggested some steps to mitigate the problem. Good businesses do things like that for their customers! Good people own this business.

I cannot say not say enough good things about Jimmy Rooter. Luckily, I didn’t have a problem or back up. I have a 90 year old house with original clay pipes, so I just wanted to have it cleaned and checked to be safe. I couldn’t believe how cheap it was. I think it was around $ 85 then another $ 20 because the main sewer line is accessed through the toilet. That included the cleaning and video scope. Jimmy was so thorough and explained everything along the way. He pointed out other things about our house’s plumbing that was just extra information. On another note, one time we used Roto Rooter for a backed up sewer line in another house. They hosed us for $ 515 (and it was a weekday, regular hours appointment). That same thing… just cleaning the line without a video where there was a partial block– would have cost just over $ 100 if we went with Jimmy Rooter.

Jimmy, Sr. came out and was 20 minutes early to snake our basement mainline. He was wonderful! Thanks to Unilocal and the dedication of the users with their reviews, I found a professional serviceman that did a great job at a great price!

Jimmy had the knowledge, experience and patience to walk me through the problem and even used his camera scope to show me the drain and where the junctions were and where the inside pipe met the outside sewer line.

These guys are the BEST!!! They arrived on schedule, had to run out for parts because the problem was bigger than expected, fixed it all with an extremely reasonable bill. On top of that the guys are personable and explained everything they did. I will never call anyone else!!!

Excellent Service with reasonable prices!!! I dont think I’ll ever try to fix something on my own. I had a bad Gas valve on my water heater that wasn’t able to keep the flame up. Jim showed up and got it replaced in 15min even without draining the tank. What a professionalism!!! I’m glad to find these Guys. I’ll definitely work with Jimmy Rooter again once I decide to renew my water heater next year or so. Thank you for your awesome service.

Jimmy Rooter is awesome! So here’s the story. I had a pipe that was leaking in my crawl space. After putting my google skills to the test I thought that it was backed up. I called Jimmy and made an appointment to have Jimmy come out. Marci made the appointment and was SUPER nice! She made my appointment and sent out Jimmy. When Jimmy arrived he was unaware that the pipe was in the crawl space. i probably forgot to mention that. He goes in and realizes that the pipe is actually cracked and not backed up (thanks a lot Google). He then quoted me a great price to get the pipe fixed. While there he mentioned that he could re install the pipe so that if there ever was a backup I could access the pipe from the bathroom and not the outside or the crawl space (saving me lots of money in the future should I ever have an issue). He didn’t even charge me for that. Oh and did I mention that I was having my 2 year old’s birthday party that day? Jimmy called me before he went out and reassured me that he would be done in an hour and that we could use water as soon as he changed the pie. YES!!! All in all visits from the plumber are met with the same enthusiasm as a dentist visit but Jimmy made it a painless experience (see what I did there). I would highly recommend him. He will be my go to guy that I hope to never have to call again. YOU THE MAN JIMMY!!!

Plumber showed up on time and was extremely knowledgeable and efficient in the unclogging of our toilet. To add, they have a 30 day warranty to cover the work they’ve done. I’ll definitely call again if I have a plumbing problem crop up!

These are the guys to call when you have a slow or backed up drain.
I’m a property manager with 3 houses. I, of course, thought I could snake the drain with my little rooting tool. I tried, but it was a waste of time.
Jimmy snaked out a bucket of roots over 50 feet from the drain! It wasn’t easy — but the Jimmy’s did it and were fair and reliable.

I had a drain clog thanksgiving day. I tried to snake it the following day but couldn’t go deep enough with my tiny snake. Jimmy and his son came out the following day and within 15 minutes had my drain clear and my sink put back together. I was expecting a bill of over $ 100, but when they were done I was pleasantly surprised. Under $ 100 for any plumbing service is a great deal. Thanks, Jimmy. Much appreciated. You are my plumber.

Wow. Wow. Wow. That’s all I can say. Even though he hurt his back the day before, he still came out to help us during our first emergency.
As someone who needed a plumber here TWICE in the last 3 weeks, I recommend Jimmy Rooter. He was fast and cost effective. $ 85 for first visit. $ 80 for second, including $ 5 pipe fitting. 5 stars on Unilocal for a reason. And the work was not insignificant, either!
1^st time he cleared two tree root segments from the pipes 75 and 80 FEET out from the house and 2^nd time was for… grease buildup (we thought we did everything right but not enough. Although he did cut us slack bc of the age of the home. He was being nice!) If you use him, let him know that the house with the funky dishwasher connection (he took a photo) says «Hello!»

Marci and Jimmy have a great operation. They are very personable and professional. They went above and beyond our expectations. Would have them come by again if we hadn’t moved away. I highly recommend.

Our basement drain backed up on a Sunday. I did quite a bit of research and called probably 8 different companies. I was quoted prices from $ 85 (Jimmy Rooter) to $ 189.50 (Colorado Sewer Service) to «we’ll let you know when we get there… and we charge $ 30 to show up» (Precision Heating and Cooling).
Not only did Jimmy Rooter take care of the problem for the cheapest price (which was quoted up front, which I see as a MAJOR bonus), but they also scoped the drain and sent us the video as part of the deal. So, they clear your drain (ran a 100′ motorized, industrial snake with blades several times), and then video scope it so you can SEE where any issues might be, all for WAY cheaper than any of the other guys. And they do it quickly, and courteously, and I just don’t have enough good stuff to say about these guys.
Jim took care of the issue with a smile, he laid down rubber backed carpeting to protect the floor, and even cleaned up when he was done with plenty of Lysol and rags.
This is a family run operation. I love dealing with PEOPLE instead of corporate policies, answering services, scheduling madness, etc. These guys are the real deal, and they get it done quickly and affordably.
They came out on a Sunday evening (just a few hours after I called, because they were wrapping up another job) with no extra charge, and I will recommend them to anyone and everyone who needs a drain snaked (or anything else having to do with plumbing!).

p. s. When I called at 4:07p on Sunday, the recording said it was «after hours,» but I got a call back a little bit later and Jim came out and did the work that evening!

They were able to get out to my rental property within 24 hours for a potentially serious leak that I had. He diagnosed the issue and quickly fixed the problem and the price was amazing. He was friendly and I have been referring his company ever since.
