Taco Time

So the food is good, I’ve always enjoyed taco time but my last visit today was mediocre at best. I ordered my burrito smothered and they barely put any of the sauce on it… I believe they charge extra for that too so if I’m paying for it you should at least make sure to cover it in the sauce.

For what you are getting the prices are really high. They would get a lot more business if they lowered their prices.

Great fresh veggies on the tacos. I wished I had more fish in the fish tacos, though. The soda machine is awesome! Never seen anything like that before! Some helpful staff, but one woman just kept talking and talking and talking… Not sure if she understood the meaning of being in the service industry.

The Tacos were terrible, I mean really terrible.
I also order a bowl of white chicken chili which was very good, tender meat, and hearty. I am very happy wight he chili however my Baja Fish Taco sucked. The tortillas were spongy and bland. And they double layered the «tortilla» like two would fix it. The fish was cold as well. The whole thing was bland, soggy, and cheap.
Lastly, this location doesn’t have a very clear drive through. Where the old drive through was there is a chain accrues the dive with a sign that says they are hiring. We almost left without food (which in hind sight would have been better) Finally after driving around the parking lot to the opossum side we find a drive through. We order and drove up to the window, after mentioning to the female employee that the drive through was hard to find and I told her we almost left. (since I figure a employee would want to know of customers concerns) The employee said «I don’t really pay attention to the signs either, so I don’t know» she took our money and didn’t even care. Not only is the food quality poor but the employee we talked to didn’t even care. As I told her we almost didn’t get dinner, and I wish we hadn’t. I will Not be coming back to the is Taco Time and will make sure to tell my friends/​neighbors in Auburn to just go somewhere else.

I eat here about once a week.
1. They have a Coke Freestyle machine, which is literally the coolest soda fountain EVER.
2. Crisp burritos are awesome, I’ve had them all and love them.
3. White Chicken Chili is a great side, well worth the upcharge.
Staff is always friendly and fast.

They need to get a few adults to run this joint like it should be run! Tired of hearing the kids that work here brag about all the things they get away with! I would be afraid to eat here anymore. The Health Dept would shut it down if they knew about some of the things these kids do while on the clock! As for the review about the Lakeland Housewives… its not them but I would worry about, it is all the Lake Tapps kids hangin’ out all the time.

I was once a frequent guest at the Taco Time. The place was new, clean, and the staff was typically friendly. They even remembered my order often, which wasn’t expected like some of the Lake Tapps snobs I’d overhear at the register («You don’t know my order? Are you new? I come here all the time.» kind of conceited crap). I was impressed at the level of overall friendliness of the staff. As my dieting has changed, and Taco Time’s prices kept climbing, I haven’t been here in over a year. I envision Taco Time losing more guests as their quality stagnates and their prices continue to eclipse those of a «full service» establishment. Seriously, $ 10.95 for a meal that’s thrown together in less than 2 minutes is absurd.
As I mentioned, I appreciated the helpful and very friendly staff, and the place was typically clean. And if you ever feel like going on safari and observing rare species, hit lunch time where the Boeing snobs and Lake Tapps housewives wander from their safe havens and behave arrogantly in public. It’s oddly amusing in that you can watch them from afar and see just how far a stick does go up one’s arse, but ultimately frustrating that people think so highly of themselves and project it on to others. I usually wouldn’t comment on the quality of an establishments’ clientele, but as I said I was a frequent diner (2 – 3 times a week for almost a year) and I witnessed a many sore, sad, and sorry people who thought very highly of themselves treat people they deemed a lesser. It’s disheartening.
If you feel the need for a Taco Time, this is the one to hit. I dinged them a few stars for the price and the people that’ll surround you. And by all means avoid the 15^th ST Taco Time; cool building aside, that place blows.

Was excited to try this locally based chain. Wasn’t so excited afterwards…
Prices were really high for fast tex-​mexican style food and everything I tried had no flavor (had a chicken burrito, a bean burrito and my wife had a taco salad). The salsa we tried was merely hot but had no flavor outside of burning our mouths. The beans and rice had very little seasoning and were extemely bland. Sadly, I’d choose taco bell over this place any day… and I mean sadly.

Good service, clean restaurant, and good food. A little pricey in my opinion.
They have one of the best chili sauces!

Fast Service, consistant food quality — it’s always hot and the veggies are always fresh.
Try the mango lemonade, it’s super good.
Beyond that, it’s your run of the mill Taco Time.

I never thought I would rate fast food, like Taco Time! The food is consistent but what this place gets the high rating for is the work crew there! Everytime I visit this place the staff are so friendly… I mean they greet, smile and definitely aim to please and have a satisfied customer. I have to take a double take at times to make sure I am not dreaming! Just kidding but goodness, how refreshing it is to go to «fast food» and be consistently treated so well. Way to go management and staff!

The staff at this Taco Time are a good team. You get your order quickly, accurately, and dependably complete. Frequently, the temperature of the order may be less than hot. Food is good and fresh. Getting in and out of the parking lot is dicey, but I like this store.
