If you want the job done as promised and without any frustration and your time wasted, you may want to choose another company. When I hired JeffCo, they were not able to get the job done on time and without employee drama that I did not want to be involved in. I hired them to replace a bathroom sink drain that had cracked, tighten a toilet tank, replace one shower handle and stem in one bathroom and three shower handles and stems in the other. The repairs should have been real simple and quick to complete. But no… I hired them on January 4^th and the job was not completed until January 20^th even though they promised the job would be done on January 15^th.
They missed appointments, did not communicate with me, did not return phone calls or emails, did not order parts as promised and then cost me money by not having the job completed when we agreed.
Instead of just getting the job done JeffCo employees insisted on blaming and pointing fingers at each other. Then I was accused of not trying to get the issues resolved when I again asked for copies of the contract that they are required to give me by law. Contract copies = being paid = never having to deal with each other again.
Due to JeffCo not getting me copies of the contract I requested a minimum of 8 times, I am still being forced to deal with them. Even after requesting that the owner call me, and promises by JeffCo employees that he would call me numerous times during the past two weeks, I am still waiting for the call.

Classic sink gets stopped up during a party story. Jeffco sends out a service man ASAP. despite running into some issues and having to haul his equipment up on to the roof, problem solved. Pipes are clear at a VERY reasonable price. Thank You JEFFCO. and thank you Jesse (serviceman)

Worth 5 stars, but he didn’t actually do any work! He explained that his router system might damage my outdoor garden sub-​drains (thin walled plastic pipes) and recommended another company that uses hydro to clear drains. Kept it safe and gave a lot of information. Very knowledgeable, very nice, arrived promptly, wouldn’t take a dime.

I’m shocked that hometown service like this still exists. Let me first begin by saying we made a huge mistake, and Jeffco was not only understanding, they went above and beyond what I would have ever expected. We called early in the morning to get our pipes snaked. Come later afternoon we still hadn’t heard from them and we were starting to wonder if they were still coming. Well, it turns out they had come and gone already, and we just never heard the door! They went up the driveway (where we told them the problem was earlier on the phone) and snaked the pipes anyway instead of just leaving us high and dry. Thanks Jeffco! We owe you big time. You have found life long customers if you will still take us after today!!!

These guys fixed our kitchen sink back in 2011 when another «highly rated Auburn plumber» was unable to keep our sink from backing up.
They got the job done, and its been over 2 years with no further sink issues.
(one thing they did — which the other plumber was clueless about –was they went on the rooftop and used a garden hose to run water down the exhaust pipe which was full of acorns deposited by squirrels. Apparently, having a clogged exhaust will contribute to a slow kitchen sink drain, and Jeffco knew about this!)

I gave two stars only because they seem to care that they can’t get their shit together. I called three times in an attempt to get them to come out and do the work I needed done. On the 3^rd call I actually asked if this was futile and I should stop wasting my time calling them. When I called I explained what I needed and that there was really no point in wasting anyone’s time coming out and giving us a quote (it’s an hour back and forth across the canyon). We really just needed a propane line run and I was just fine with paying time and material. I had given the approximate lengths before hand but frankly I have complete detailed drawings in Sketchup and could have provided EXACT lengths but no they had to come out and look and we had to have a quote first. So Jeff comes out looks it over, talks to my wife. It is now weeks later, do we have a quote? Hell no we haven’t heard hide nor hair. The funny thing is I wasn’t at all price sensitive, I just wanted it done! Good tradesmen are few and far between and even fewer seem to have any business sense. I am thinking he is a decent plumber judging by other remarks but they are lousy business people.

I recently had a hot water heater problem. The immediate solution required a quick diagnosis and a switch replacement, which Jeffco completed quickly and efficiently. Further, thanks to their friendly, talented and knowledgeable staff (David-​tech and Tracy-​office manager), a more complicated circulator pump issue was diagnosed and the proper part found and installed, allowing optimization of my hot water supply. They not only solved my initial problem but improved my hot water heater’s performance… all the while working with my home warranty company to minimize cost for me. Amazing!

JeffCo responded very quickly to an overnight residential main water line failure. Their technician (Chris L.) was able to locate the breakage rapidly and execute an effective and professional repair. Throughout, he kept us informed of what he was doing. He explained why the failure had occurred and how his repair/​modification to the line should keep it from happening again. His efficiency also helped lower the cost of the repair. I will call JeffCo for our future plumbing needs and, based on our positive experience, happily recommend them to others in the greater Auburn area.

Halleluiah, Jeffco Plumbing saved me almost $ 150 and cleared my clogged sink/​laundry fast! Kevin, the Jeffco plumber was outstanding and understood my issue immediately from the 6+ neighborhood houses he had previously worked on with similar issues. Having 15 years experience around Auburn was a definite plus. The neighbor highly recommended highly this plumber but I was scared off at first because I saw one bad review. I called a Grass Valley plumber that came to my house and quoted me $ 245 for the job he said would take less than an hour. What the heck… $ 245 an hour! No thanks! I sent him packing back to Grass Valley and called Jeffco. I’m so glad I did. Kevin was so professional and knowledgeable. I’m very happy with my results and Jeffco will now be our family’s only plumber. Just a note… our dog loved him too which is not an easy task!

Very pleased with my service. Had an issue with a back up coming into the shower. The guy came out, and figured out the pump wasn’t working. Found the electrical issue… fixed it… cleaned up the shower. All priced very reasonably.

When we first contacted this company and informed them of our EMERGENCY, there was no sense of urgency WHATSOEVER. It took them over a week before we had someone out to take a look at our house. Once again I want to emphasize EMERGENCY. We could not use any running water in our house without it flooding back up in the toilets and sinks. We FINALLY had a time set up for someone to come out and he said he would be there at 5pm. He called us at 5 and told us he would be there within the hour. 4 hours then passed and I called the office to see what happened with our appointment. The receptionist told me someone would be out FIRST THING in the morning. The next morning I waited around until 1pm and Mike finally arrived. He ran the snake and «unclogged» our pipes. I walked outside and witnessed him drinking bud light out of the back of his truck while he was «working.» He then continued to install 1 toilet and repair a few minor problems. He charged us $ 175 dollars and left. Within an hour we had water flooding back into our house again. We contacted Mike personally 3 times before he «made time» to get up to our property again. And did I mention that he lives down the street from us? Anyways, once again Mike «unclogged» the pipes again and left. Once again the toilets and sinks flooded. The next day I contacted mike twice and tried to figure something out to get everything fixed. He told me he would contact his partner and they would get back to me that night. That was a week ago and we still haven’t heard from him. GREAT customer service. We will NEVER again deal with this company and I STRONGLY encourage you to do the same.

I had a small leak under my house. Tech fixed it in twenty minutes. fast and honest.
