Jack’s Tavern

Not a very good experience for me. The place seemed too gloomy and the help didn’t come around very often. The drinks were affordable, but hard to enjoy when they don’t come around often enough. Just wasn’t the best experience. Maybe it was an off day for the place. Can’t say I will be back any time soon.

Great food great service! I really enjoy the chicken delight. Portion of sandwich and fries is spot on. I really enjoy how I am remembered when I walk through the door and greeted with a smile.

I love the nostalgic smell of cigarette smoke. That’s why I highly recommend Jack’s Tavern. Somehow, they have been able to preserve the super stenchy stink of cigarette smoke from the 90’s, and make sure you enjoyed the amazing aroma for days after visiting. But the real kicker of this amazing historical sight, is Michelob Ultra on tap. What’s not to love?

The Katie Perry blaring from the speakers made my life whole. …that and the fact that they have Michelob light on tap… now I’m complete!

I appreciate the fact that they actually have a restroom, but the chew spit all over the urinals do not help me urinate… too bad, because they have Michelob Ultra on tap…

They went from 5 stars to 1 star as of last Sunday.
They stopped taking
certificates, even though they have no expiration date and they are under contract to take them. Their lame excuse was they were trying to pull out of the website but didn’t know the phone number. A
certificate is a contract and any other unrelated business between a restaurant and the
website is NOT THE CUSTOMERS FAULT.
In legal terms its called contract default and yes, its illegal. They should have taken my coupon and yes, it was printed long before they alleged trying to terminate with

Yes it’s a real live dive bar. The food is good. Beer is cold. The lady running the whole thing the night we were there is awsome.

Fun place to go out they have a DJ on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights that is really good and place a variety of music. Definitely will go back again!

This is the first time I’ve been to this place. It’s very nice, clean and airy. The staff are friendly and very fast. The food is great with reasonable price. I like their salad, and fresh food here. They have everything you need here for your thirst!

This is a spot me & my uncle will hit up every once in a while.
I didn’t know about it until he started to take me here, & now I’m glad I know about it. They definitely have good food, & great drinks.
Me I usually order the heart stoppingly good double bacon cheeseburger when I come here. It’s out of this world good. Let’s just say if my waistline agreed with it, I’d be here a lot more to get one. They’re definitely worth the price, which isn’t too bad ($ 6 – 8 for a huge burger). You literally have to have a gigantic mouth in order to be able to wrap your entire mouth around this thing on your first bite.
The service is ok as well. The bartenders usually are friendly in general, although you can run into the occasional sassy one every now and then. They do their job pretty good though, & make the drinks pretty strong. Hey, that’s all I’m looking for.
The inside of the place is pretty spacy. The have pool, darts, tv’s to watch the game, etc.
I’m a fan. Check the place out if you’re in the area.

Nothing fancy here, just a regular old bar. Been leaving in Auburn for 15 years but I never made it in here. My wife and I stopped in to watch the Mariners game and we ended up seeing some music. The building is a lot larger than it looks like from the street. Lots of room for a band to play but people still have room for pool and darts.
The band was «Tatoosh». Great musicians but they were all pretty old guys so it just didn’t seem like a rock band. But I would definitely go see those guys again and might even pay a cover charge (they were free on a Friday night).
I was a little hungry and wanted some chips and salsa or something like that. They had nachos but wouldn’t sell me just the chips… So I ordered a plate of fries and they were acceptable but nothing special.

I had nachos there and the cheese was processed from a can. Ick. The drinks were weak. There was only one waitress working and she was swamped. I felt bad for her. The two bartenders made a habit of ignoring patrons.
The dance floor is very small. Felt like a mosh pit at times.

As a regular here I have to give 5 stars! The staff are all friendly and the service is GREAT! They make good drinks that are well priced! Its nice to be able to have a fun place to hang out where everybody knows your name. If all else fails… even if it doesnt… I usually end up here one way or another!

I give this 2 stars The previous reviews didn’t make the food sound very good, but I have to say… it looked pretty good. Maybe we’ll go back and eat next time.

this is a nice loocal tavern with friendly patrons and a bartender that works her butt off. We only came in for Hydraulics but the food comming out of the kitchen looked very good. Lookinf forward to trying the food and posting an update. It has a really large granite topped, semi-​circular bar and lots of tables. It has four full-​size pool tables. I think this place may desire more than three stars, but I need to do some more research.

I like Jacks Bartenders and staff… they have a DJ some Fridays and Saturdays last i knew. sometime they do live band shows Friday nights. and Saturdays when they have UFC fights. you can watch them there for FREE… good place to go chill… THE FRIES ARE THA BOMB THO…

My dad always stops here when we need a special treat for dinner!
The chicken is delicious! It is tender juicy goodness! We get the chicken and potato wedges always! It is a good combination and for the price and the quantity it is always a good deal. We never have any leftovers it is that good!
I haven’t actually been in the tavern but next time I am back home I think I will!

Stopped in for a Sunday supper and were greeted by a friendly group of regulars and staff. The food was very cheap and worth the $ 20 dinner for 2!
The fish could have been a tad less greasy and the burger patty was average, but the salad was good and the fries were awesome.
Cheeseburger Breakdown (BOMC style):
Bun — commercial bread with toasted sesame seeds
Burger — good beef taste but a tad dry
Cheese — American with not much taste
Veggies — good shredded lettuce and tomato
Located halfway between Auburn and Kent this makes a nice stop on the way to or from lots of places.

Ok, so the crowd is rather hillbillie, the cover charge isn’t bad, the band playing cover music — grunge rock from the 80’s was great! Food was ok, but the company! That was what made this place great! had fun with friends, enjoyed the people watching and the scenery… really not a bad place to hang out, belt down a few and sink the white ball in the corner pocket one too many times! hahahahaha
