I called custom to bid on a rewire of a 116 year old home. Travis came out the next day to meet me. It was clear right away he knew what he was doing compared to other companies I talked with. He sent me the bid that night and two days later they started work. Greg and his crew of 4 showed up with all the knowledge and tools needed to do the job right. One of the smoothest and most professional contractors I have ever used. I could not be happier and will use Custom for any electrical work in the future.

They were able to come out to Duvall, showed up on time, gave a competitive bid, completed the work, and cleaned up everything. They replaced all of the living area lights, added a pendant light, added a ceiling fan. Very pleased with the work and customer service. Both guys were polite and helpful. Greatly appreciated their work ethic.

We just purchased a new house and realized that our washer needed a dedicated circuit due to a fire hazard. After shopping around for the best price and service availability, we were referred to this company. I called them in the afternoon and they showed up the next day at noon. I loved how fast they could send a technician over (most companies replied with one week waiting time). They were very professional and completed the job in a couple hours (another company told me earlier it would take a whole day). It was sort of a messy job, they had to drill holes in our kitchen’s ceiling but I appreciated it when they offered to clean up the mess. When I asked about an extra job to be done (installing an outlet for a garbage disposal), they still did it even enough they were tired and it was their 3^rd house for the day. Overall, I like down-​to-​earth people who don’t try to rip you off and tell you the truth about what needs to be done. We were also happy with the price, they were understanding of our budget restrictions. I will definitely keep Chris’ card if we need to call an electrician again.

Horrible customer service and communication. I’ve hired and worked with many contractors and this is one of the most inept. They delayed a simple remodel which ultimately ended up costing me a lot of time and money. There are many Electricians in the area that can provide a fair bid and quality work, this is not one of them.

Happy with my experience. I needed some minor electrical work done in the home office. They provided me a quote over the phone, which was competitive. They honored the quote even when the work ended up being a little more than they anticipated.
I was given a 2 hour time window, and they showed up on time to assess the work. Jay & Travis answered all my questions in detail. Chad, who did the actual work, was friendly and professional. Would definitely use them in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to friends.

Great professional and quick service. Friendly and professional. I had a small insignificant electrical need but they treated me right. I called around and was told it would be 30 days before I could get assistance. Custom Electrical worked me in for this minor repair overnight. 100% satisfaction and I definitely recommend them and will use them again.

On time. Found and fixed the problem and put back together everything I took apart in less than one hour.

Called them a few weeks ago. Set up an appointment for an estimate for a panel upgrade. They called at the appointment time to tell me they were in Sammamish and will be late. That wasn’t a problem for us but after they left our home I never got an estimate… or even a call back. I called repeatedly… the first time I called I was told he (Travis) was out of the office for a week and would email the estimate when he returned on Wednesday. Ok, I waited a week… I never received it so I called back and was told by the receptionist she would contact him and I would receive the estimate via email. I never received it so I called again and she told me that he or she will call me back in a few minutes but I never heard from them again. Of course I’m not going to make anymore efforts after all of these attempts. This kind of customer service and lack of communication makes me question the integrity of any business.

Greg came out today and installed my new ceiling fan in a location that has never had any electrical fixture. He was great about keeping the living room clean, was very pleasant and friendly and the install looks fantastic, like it has always been there. And a bonus, pricing was great. I recommend this company very highly — and am glad to say, I found them on Unilocal.Thank you previous Unilocalers for your comments that brought me to this company!

I am very impressed with this company! I have never actually needed an electrician so was a bit leery, I made calls to several different companies in the morning and Travis at Custom Electrical called me right back. He said he could be here within hours and actually showed up early (that never happens!)… he found the issue fairly quickly and the charges matched what he had given me as a «guesstimate»… I thought the fee was very reasonable. We would definitely use these guys again!

I’m always nervous calling a service professional when I have an emergency situation as I feel like I am at the mercy of whatever they want to tell me. I recently had a situation where my electricity went out in three areas of the house and my minor electrical knowledge of flipping the circuit breakers did not fix the problem.
I was referred into Custom Electrical Services and just hoped for the best. I got the best. The owner, Jay showed up right on time for our initial appointment where he did a thorough inspection of all of our switches and outlets that were affected. He went into the attic as well as the crawl space under the house, and obviously checked the circuit box in the garage. He made a diagnosis very quickly and realized he would need another electrician with him to complete what would be a somewhat complex, but efficient procedure. We scheduled an appointment for 9:30 the next morning. Jay and Greg showed up right on time again.
Time is money when you hire an electrician and I feared this might take some time for what they needed to do. I mean they were drilling and wiring and as I listened to the conversations they were having, it was clear they were both very experienced electricians. They were also both very professional and courteous with me.
Despite the complexity of the situation, Jay and Greg finished the job in only an hour! In fact they finished in 56 minutes and spent the last 4 minutes vaccuming up any mess that they had made. I was extremely satisfied with the cost of the project as well and would recommend Custom Electrical Services to anybody.

I have used this company twice. In both instances, they performed their tasks in a highly professional and effective manner. Their rates were reasonable and the work was done on time and either on or under budget. Good people to work with.
