Really good tacos that come to you really quick, but the prices are pretty high given the portion sizes. 3 tacos will cost you $ 11-$ 13. I haven’t been to the distrito downtown yet but I would imagine this is a broken down menu and they have more to offer at their other location. It’s a cool little place with good food. It’s located in Revel so you can expect the prices to be a bit higher. Overall a good place to stop and grab some good tacos. I ordered the JG Steak Supremo and they were really tasty with a little kick.

Expensive yes, small portions yes, but also fairly good and keep in mind, its in Revel and not an actual food truck. Came here TWICE in one night during a bachelor party. I’m pretty sure we ordered over $ 200 of tacos and $ 12 of guac. The tacos, several types to choose from, each with unique toppings and sauces. For $ 12 you get 3 smallish tacos(more of snack than meal). By far, the consensus was the breaded, fried mahi mahi fish tacos were the outright winner. But be sure to try the rest. The carnitas, steak, chicken, shrimp/chorizo, were all good as well. The guac was flavorful and the homemade torillas were excellent as well. OVERALL: ur at Revel, you’r probably down 500 $ why not spend a little extra to splurge on some slightly overpriced but delicious tacos

A taco truck restaurant inside of a casino is a super cool & creative idea. This definitely caught my eye. The kitchen is actually inside of the truck and this is where the waiters pick up the food for you while you dine on picnic benches and tables so they get an A+ for creative décor here. Unfortunately, the food was just ok. The guacamole was pretty good but the sangria was below average. I had chicken tacos with a strange sauce that I did not like. The flautas also had a awkward-tasting brown sauce. However, the steak tacos were good. This is what I would have if I ever go back. However, I’ve been the the Revel about 6 times after my dining experience here and have opted out of eating here. Service was ok but it’s also overpriced. $ 300 for tacos and a pitcher of sangria for a group of 6 is excessive.

This was our dinner choice on our second night at Revel. I enjoy Garces restaurants, but I hold them to a high standard. Basically, in this case, I was going to judge this taco truck concept on whether or not I think I could get a better taco at a mom and pop taqueria. First off, I’ll say that the guacamole and chips were excellent. My wife loved her chicken tacos. Service was lightning fast. We had all of our food in two minutes. It was a Tuesday night in July, not terribly busy. Still impressive. My carnitas tacos had excellent flavor. But the meat was just a little tough. Just enough for me to notice. Maybe I expect perfection from a Garces restaurant because I’ve gotten perfection at one before. This was just a shade under perfection. Honestly, I’ve had equally flavorful and more tender carnitas tacos at mom and pop joints. So he ultimately did not pass my test. But in the end, failure still tasted pretty darn good. The prices are slightly higher than they should be, but it’s AC… What isn’t priced higher than it should be?

This is a small place located in the hotel Revel. Great for lunch — we were extremely hungry and the food came out within a few minutes. The tacos were delicious — we had the vegetarian black bean tacos and chicken tacos. Healthy food and the portions were appropriate. The cost was reasonable for 3 tacos per person. Unlike other mexican restaurants, however, they did not bring out any chips with salsa while we were waiting for our entrees.

Hungover and lethargic, my SO and I wandered into Revel for a nourishing lunch. I recently moved away from Philly and really miss my Garces restaurants. Distrito Cantina is a more summery take on the original restaurant with its food truck and picnic table setup. We got there right at noon when they open so service was great and there were few others there. The steak tacos were tasty and indulgent; the avocado added a touch of smoothness. I was so happy to see the tamales on the menu; they are no longer available at the Philly location and they were always my favorite Distrito dish. They were cooked perfectly and topped with chicken. Good stuff. One star off because I really wanted dessert and while they sometimes offer it as a special, I think it would be easy to put a panna cotta, churro, or a little cake on the menu. Other than that, the Cantina was a fun experience.

We had a satisfying lunch here and they do midweek specials, so what’s not to love? The guac was fantastic, as were my carnitas tacos. The margaritas were dangerously good; I only had one just so I could pace myself for the day, but definitely considered another. Their chile infused tequila has quite the kick, so heed the warning and sip slow!

Bravo on the pescado/fish tacos :) Seriously, decent fish tacos are hard to come by in New Jersey. I like them better here than Surf Taco in Belmar. The pickled cabbage is a great touch; the fish is a melt-in-your-mouth texture. Ask for some guac on the side– it adds just a tad more moisture, that may really be necessary if you’ve been drinking ^.^ I’ve tried both the steak and carnitas tacos too– I wouldn’t recommend them. A little on the dry side. I’ve also had the lengua(veal tongue)– not bad, but still not preferred over their fish tacos. Their sangria isn’t anything special, but I’d still drink it. It’s perfect for a fast place to eat and go back to the tables. Or a late night snack. Prices are cheap too. I’m interested to try their breakfast options next. Will update when I do.

I haven’t written a review in EIGHT months. But I am taking the time to write this review because of the absolutely wonderful experience I had this past weekend here for a bachelorette party. I love in Miami now… flew up for this kicking party in AC. The manager, CJ, provided exceptional customer service and made the girls feel nice and Kush-y…(pun possibly intended). Appetizers, entrees, cocktails — everything was on point. I specifically would like to commend our server Sonny for providing absolutely stellar service. His recommendations were on point… particularly the fruit-infused margaritas. Good lord! Fantastic. Fantastic. Sonny easily made this evening super special and fun for me and all of my friends. Thank you CJ — Thank you Sonny! I will be sure to stop in the next time I am in town!

It’s nice having a quick bite to eat after a show. The«Food Truck» is downstairs from Ovation Hall. We didn’t wait long to be seated as you sit picnic style with other Diners. The food wasn’t great. I ordered beans and rice. They put a VERYSMALL amount of rice, in a bowl, and topped it with a ton of black beans. It was such a small amount, I thought they forgot the rice! I had to dig my way to the bottom. On top of the beans was a pile of diced, white, onions. It had good flavor but the beans to rice ratio wasn’t what I was used to. My fiancé ordered tacos. They looked a little dry. The chips were ok. Everything was simply mediocre. We were just happy something was open after the concert let out at midnight. Convenience is key not taste or presentation. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Late night in AC calls for late night snacks… what better way than with some tacos. This has a cool concept, the kitchen looks like a full sized food truck. There are benches all around to sit and also a regular bar next to the food truck. They have a varied selection of tacos. One order comes with 3, but you can’t mix and match. Although the tacos are tasty, not much meat and lots of cilantro and onion. They are tiny for the price($ 11 per order). They are the size of traditional tacos, which are meant to be small. .but those traditional ones also cost about $ 3 – 4 for a similar order, so the markup here is a tad too much. Overall it’s a cool concept inside a Casino and a good choice if you are looking for food after 2am(open till 4am on weekends).

The tacos were small, but good. I probably could have eaten 5, but had 3. I also had a cocktail to go with it and it was pretty good. The idea of a food truck inside is kind of cool. It was a little overpriced, but to be expected.

Pretty great spot for lunch. Yep, guac is $ 12 but its lightly dusted with cheese and served with chips that are nicely salted, it’s hard to say no. There was three of us, so we decided go to splities. We went with 3 different kinds of tacos. Fish tacos, shrimp tacos and chicken. The fish taco, even though deep fried was still a little too fishy for me. The chicken taco was delicious and had a lot of flavors to it and the same goes for the shrimp taco. The presentation of the dishes was really nice. The tacos are served in a to-go basket to play off their ‘food truck’ feel. As with some other reviews, the drinks, cmon now. give me more booze in that margarita for that price! It wasn’t a cheap lunch, $ 136 for the 3 of us but a lot of drinks since this is what kicked off our day at Revel.

Let me start out by saying that I didn’t have their food, only a drink at the bar, so I can’t say anything about the food. However, the drink and the service left a lot to be desired. First of all… I know it’s in a casino so you can expect prices to be a little high, but really, $ 13 for a drink? And not even a decent sized drink? Definitely not worth it. Since I’m not a gambler(was there to watch the fights), I knew I wasn’t going to get the«free» drinks so I figured I’d pay a little, but this seemed ridiculous. But add in the poor service and bad attitude from the bartender, and it really makes me wish I had just gone into the Mussel Bar next door instead. There were three of us sitting beside each other on bar stools, but we weren’t «together», we had actually just met on the bus on the way to AC. The bartender didn’t even ask, she just automatically put us all on the same check. When we asked for it to be separated, she rolled her eyes and sighed, and said, «Just give me your money and I’ll figure it out.» We each put a $ 20 on the bar, and waited… and waited… and waited… you get the point… for her to take our money & get our change. Seriously, it took her over an HOUR with our money laying there on the bar for her to acknowledge that it was there. And not once in that entire time did she ask if we wanted another drink or anything to eat. We just sat there watching football commentary and waiting… I don’t know when I’ll be back in AC again, but I do know that should I find myself at Revel again, I will NOT come to this place for a drink.

I ate at Distrito Cantina before going to Royal Jelly Burlesque Nightclub in Revel. The bar was crowded so we sat at a table. The dining area wasn’t as crowded as the bar. It’s cool sitting in the dining area because the food is prepared on a truck in front of you. I ordered the guacamole and chicken tacos. Three small tacos come with an order. The guacamole was good but not worth the price in my opinion. I expected fresh table side guacamole and a bigger portion for the price. Distrito Cantina tacos were delicious. The flavors blended well together. I like the salsa sauce on the side because it gives the tacos a hint of spiciness. Customer service was average. The employees were friendly. The manager came over to make sure we were doing OK. Distrito Cantina food was tasty but overpriced. I give Distrito Cantina a 3.5 rating.

Delicious. Expensive. Delicious. I love tacos. I love fish tacos. Sooooo I ordered the Pescado tacos($ 13 for three) which are fish tacos with pickled red cabbage, avocado, and chipotle sauce. So good. The pickled red cabbage can be ate completely by itself because it’s made so well. My only issue is the size of the tacos — itty bitty for $ 13. Would I go back? Oh yeah. I tried to get there at 2 am and unfortunately they were closed. I would have spent $ 100 on tacos at that point… too bad for Distrito Cantina.

A food truck inside a casino… what more can you ask for! Overall, the ambiance, the food and drinks are a lot of fun… We love the fish taco’s… and the corn shooters… and who can forget the rice and beans. Pretty much everything we have had here has been good. Place would get 4 stars if their rice was fully cooked… we kept getting pieces of hard rice in our rice and beans… We still ate almost all of it, because it was so freaking good!

I love this stationary taco truck/bar. It’s the perfect spot to grab a casual meal before you drop a few hundo on paigon poker. Word is there is a famous chef here? I’ve never seen him. Any who… Quick taco run down: Chicken w/avocado, radish toppings — good flavor but a bit small. Def need to douse them in hot sawwwce, bc the chicken is on the dry side. Fish tacos w/remoulade, radish, avocado, were small, but f’n good. Like, one bite small. But like, one GOOD bite small. Side: Black beans and rice– a big bowl for $ 5, so when the mini tacos don’t quite do it, grab some beans and call it a day. Yea, it’s probably 30% too much for the eats, but it’s a fun place to grab a beer and watch TV instead of hitting up an even more overpriced sit down meal somewhere else in the casino.

$ 12FORGUACAMOLETHATISLESSTHANONEAVOCADO!!! Rich, creamy, just enough salt, warm and awesomely crispy chips… delicious…but there was nothing in the bowl!!! 4 spoon fulls max. Besides that, the space is nice, the service is a little cold but the décor is cool and inviting… the beer was reasonable and cold I love Amada in Philadelphia, one of the best meals of my life, but this is just sad. At Amada, for $ 13 you could get a Lechon Flatbread with brocolini or for $ 16 you could get a mixed platter of cured meats. How does that make sense? I know that this is a different space in a very high end casino but, Mr. Garces can certainly do better than this.
