The New Plaza Beach Club is a private beach club on Long Island’s South Shore, in the Village of Atlantic Beach, only 22 miles from mid-town Manhattan and easily accessible by the LIRR. Members join for the summer season, Memorial Day through Labor Day, to enjoy carefree days on a private beach, with valet parking and full cabana boy service.
Amenities include the club’s pool and kiddie pool, our excellent on-site restaurant with full bar, as well as over 65,000 square feet of clean, spacious, uncrowded private beach property.
NPBC offers over 100 Oceanfront and Sand Court Cabanas, all of which include private showers and electricity, and over 100 Lockers and Shower Lockers.

History
Established in 1944.
Established nearly 70 years ago, The New Plaza Beach Club is a nostalgic summer home for many of its members.
New Plaza Beach Club, formerly known as ‘Plaza Beach Club’, sustained major damage during both Hurricane Irene and Super Storm Sandy.
Though Irene left the club with significant water damage in August of 2011, members were able to return for Labor Day weekend at the beach before the end of the summer season. Most repairs were completed within one week of the devastating storm.
Following the devastation of Sandy, management spent six months restoring and reinventing the club’s facilities and property, ensuring that members and guests have the opportunity to see New Plaza Beach Club in its finest condition since its original heyday decades ago.
