Yogli Mogli

Terrible business, sign doesn’t state closing times, yet store was closed before 10 even though advertised as staying open until then on their website

Well, here it is, September 2015. Same so-​so yogurt (Menchi’s is better), same infantilizing policy about the samples. BUT a totally new stupid reason for it: «It’s a cross-​contamination thing.» Oh, you mean because you’ve been handling cash from every customer and you walked from behind the counter without washing you hands? That kind of cross-​contamination? Stupid, stupid, stupid. You don’t need this place. So many better froyo shops.

Midtown offers many wonderful things, but one thing it is sorely lacking is ice cream. Sure, you can go to the Westside and hit up Jeni’s, or go to Edgewood and get Morelli’s, but there is no scoop of ice cream walking distance from Peachtree to be found. Given my hood’s ice cream desert status, I found myself at this Yogli Mogle in Tech Square to satisfy a summer dessert craving recently.
The fro-​yo is self-​serve by the ounce, and in typical yogli mogli fashion, they have the GIANT cups, so you don’t really realize how much you’re getting (pro-​tip: it’s more than you think). They have a good mix of sweet and tart/​tangy flavors at this location, and my favorite sweet flavors are cheesecake and strawberry (preferable swirled), and my favorite tart flavors are the original and coconut. I’m a fro-​yo only kind of girl, but they did have a wide variety of toppings available, including many colors of mochi and fresh fruit. Best of all, they have a constant scoutmob that’s reusable after 30 days, making this a relatively inexpensive indulgence.
Free parking is basically non-​existent in this area, so grab a metered spot on the 5^th St bridge or pay the fee in the Synergy deck.

I’m spending the summer in ATL so in 95 degree weather when isn’t the perfect time for so fro-​yo. I came across this place after wondering the campus.
The positive, the atmosphere of this place is super chic, really up to date and super clean. The staff was also super friendly, even though it was one worker at the time, she offered a nice welcome. I did however have to ask for a sample, so she could have come to check on me, but no biggie.
Yogli had a lot of flavors to pick from, but not to many sorbet options, which is a bummer. I ended up going with the green apple sorbet, which was really light and fresh.
Now here is when things start to go down hill, the toppings! So I LOVE granola so I cover my sorbet in it and come to find out it was SUPER stale, no crunch at all! That was super unsatisfying! Next, there were not to many fruit options, only offering kiwi and strawberries (yawn). But there were lots of sweet tooth options, such as gummy worms, sour patch kids, cookie dough bites (my favorite) etc.
In the end I only paid $ 3.50 for a fair amount so I was thrilled about that! I will be returning in hopes that I just got a bad batch of granola!

Only 3 stars because of the lame policy of policing the samples. Very odd for a frozen yogurt shop. I wanted to taste some but felt bad having the solo worker come around and pour a sample. I was happy with the two flavors I tried and ultimately had some of each, but would have liked to try more and perhaps would have picked something else
The coconut mixed with the green apple is absolutely amazing. Im not much on toppings, but they had plenty to choose from if that’s your thing.
Next time I am in the area I will definately be back.

I love yogli mogli. So far, for me, they have been the most consistent frozen yogurt chain– great flavors, fresh toppings, and clean environment— those are the keys to have a successful frozen yogurt spot.
We came here last Saturday after having a delicious meal at Takorea up the street. It was a delight to walk through Tech Square again– I haven’t been there in awhile. Lots of new places, most of them seem like great additions, but it was honestly not to my liking to see a Walmart Pharmacy there. (I mean c’mon, I’m sure they are a well paying tenant, but Walmart is just not what you expect to see in the square of such a prestigious top school). I actually hated seeing that, but I digress… back to the yogurt.
YOGURT & TOPPINGS:
They have most of the same great flavors as the other stores. I opted for Cookies & Cream and it was delish, my favorite.
The toppings were pretty much beautiful looking, lol, seriously, it was as if the strawberries were just picked and cut, and as if the M&Ms just came out the machine. They have everything you can think plus these fun looking clear juice ball things.
SERVICE & STAFF:
Not the friendliest bunch ever, at least on the day I came. But they did seem a little awkward so I’m thinking that has something to do with it. Even though they weren’t smiley and happy, they were doing their jobs well: they were keeping everything very clean, neat, and organized. They were cleaning up any spillage customers may have made when they had gaps between people purchasing and people creating– very wonderful to see.
Now, like others have mentioned they don’t allow you to sample on your own. So they get the cups and do it for you, some people hate that and are docking serious stars for it, but why? This is common at all Yogli Mogli I have been to. And it probably helps keep things cleaner and it probably helps customers to make up their mind quicker. And it probably saves them yogurt… I mean they are a business at the end of the day. Yea, it can be annoying, but I’m not mad at it and I actually think it’s smart.
LOCATION:
In Tech Square (Georgia Tech’s business school district). You will see plenty of Techies in here at all times. We walked here which would obviously be the best thing to do. As for driving here, it’s like any other part of the city, there’s metered parking and a few parking decks around. No free parking in the immediate area.
SUMMARY: I could give a 4, but I decided on a 5 because it was very clean in there, the staff was attentive (though not as happy as I would like maybe), the yogurt was great, toppings beautifully displayed, and I love the location.

Pretty standard self-​serve fro-​yo place. Nothing bad, nothing exceptionally good. The staff seem young, maybe early college, late high school. They were doing Homework when my friend and I entered, which I didn’t mind at all, just confirmed my speculation of their ages. I didn’t like that my friend and I couldn’t get our own samples. Made me feel rushed. I’m an adult and perfectly capable of getting a sample of fro-​yo. I get that when there are a ton of little ones, you may need to regulate a bit, but having some 18-​year-​old stand there watching to see what I think after each sample is a bit much. I’d rather be left a lone to pick my fave flav in piece yo. Toward the end of my fro-​yo decision-​making, it got a little crowded when a group of 13 or so college students came in together. They were getting samples, and we had to wait for them all before getting another little dixie cup sample from the employee. No bueno! This place is in the middle of Georgia Tech though, so I’m sure another location might be better suited for me.

This yogli mogli always has my favorite «no sugar added Vanilla»! There always seems to be people inside and outside (it is on Tech campus) and the toppings area always full to the brim and fresh.

I don’t even know why I didn’t give them the extra star to begin with, the GA Tech kids who generally staff this location are always friendly and helpful so maybe it was the parking, but that’s not their fault and walking a little farther earns you more fro-​yo!

Yogli Mogli is always one of my favorite Frozen Yogurt places to go to in Atlanta. When it was going to open in Atlantic Station, I was especially excited b/​c I can eat frozen yogurt while shopping! My chances of getting froyo has heightened. I was there the opening weekend and the yogurt was. gloopy? It was a hot day, and as the yogurt was coming out of the machine, it was melting. It dropped into my cup and was already melting & loosing it’s shape. «Well, okay.» I said & I just moved on. They have my favorite toppings and such, & that weekend I didn’t think much about the melting froyo that day– since it was hot.
But I’ve been twice again after that day & still, the froyo is still melty. WHY?! FIX THIS PLEASE! I really love you guys & I don’t want to put a bad review in, but I don’t want yogurt that is already melting in my cup!
Other than the yogurt itself though– the employees are really nice & great. :)

Juice Balls.
I’ve been swiftly and surely converted to Yogli from another frozen yogurt brand in the city for their juice balls. I love this topping enough to come all the way to this location just because they have a secondary strawberry juice ball flavor over the one closer to my house.
The workers here are always helpful, (really) chipper, AND I got a discount for following them on twitter. Not to mention, they’ve got a Connect in the back that you can burn calories on dancing the day away after you eat your treat.
Great location, great juice balls.
Don’t forget to bring your parking dollars. The only place around these parts is the street, and you don’t want Park Atlanta getting you.

Why is THIS fro-​yo place so awesome compared to the countless others sprinkled throughout the A? Well, besides the fact that their flavors are actually delicious (seriously, try the new pumpkin!), they have an xbox Kinect that you can Just Dance all of the calories you’ve consumed off with, free to play upon request. Oh, AND you can get 20% off of your purchase if you follow them on twitter and say the phrase of the day/​week. I’d say they’ve got customer experience down packed!

Went for the first time last week and I loved it! They have delicious flavors like New York Cheese Cake, Cookie Dough, and Dutch Chocolate and have a lot of different topping (gummy bears, mint chocolate chips, nuts, etc.).
–They charge you by the weight of your cup of frozen yogurt.
–The staff was really helpful and nice and offer free samples!
–A lot of the yogurt is low-​fat, sorbet, and sugar-​free.
Overall, this is a really great place to hang out with your friends and/​or go with your sweetie, eat yummy frozen yogurt, and, if you’re up to it, play Kinect games!

Glad they opened one in Midtown. Best part is you serve yourself so you can adjust how much you want. Only knock is parking, which we had to pay for (they really should validate).

I love this place! I frequent froyo places and love the selection of flavors and you get a lot for the money.

For fear of getting this review removed, I’ll keep it classy.
I’ve been seeing the «Grand Opening Oct 2011» for MONTHS every time I passed by the store on Tech Square. Like the foodie that I am, I checked the website, asked on facebook and looked on Unilocal for a Grand Opening date. As October approached I still did not know a specific date. I actually went in the store and asked the construction workers when they were opening, and they didn’t have a clue either.
Now. not that I want to compare (lies), but, Pinkberry announced their opening months in advance, so did Yoforia. so what was Yogli Mogli hiding?
They had a quiet opening this weekend and didn’t invite anyone. When they decided to let the public know they existed, they issued a $ 5 off coupon, which is awesome — but remember, Pinkberry and Yoforia gave free (not discounted, FREE) fro-​yo when they opened a new store. The shady thing is that Yogli Mogli is froyo by WEIGHT, and at $ 0.42 an ounce, you are 100% likely to go over your $ 5 limit and have to pay the remainder. I’m already disgruntle.
There is a silver lining though. Their flavors are crazier than the other stores, including: Apple Pie, Pumpkin, Cake Batter, Coffee, Pistachio, Coconut, Orange Creamsicle and you can do mixture-​swirls for the flavors in the same machine. Very cool and super tasty. The bad part is that as tasty as their flavors where, I got surprisingly sick afterward, making me think that it is likely not «all natural».
The topings area are pretty standard, except that they have hot fudge (huge brownie points on that!) and some weird ass «juice peals» with passion fruit and lychee flavors (don’t eat those, they were nasty). The servers were very nice even though they were flustered by the crowds and often forgot to ask for people’s coupons, as that was the reason so many people were in the store.
So, honestly– not my favorite froyo place, but its nice to have another frozen treat on campus (next to the Marble Slab Ice cream place) for when its late and we need some sugar to keep going when Georgia Tech is beating us down :)
