Love love LOVE Alessandra and her team! Very quick, throughout and clean. I cannot say enough good things about this place. She rocks!

Alessandra does an amazing job every time, charges very reasonable prices, and makes me feel very comfortable during my entire waxing experience. Her business is also very clean, and she is very professional. I can’t imagine going anywhere else for waxing!

I have received several waxes at this location. At first I was very happy with the services. I tend to be very loyal to my preferred businesses so although they were over 40 minutes from me I continued to make the trip. After about 15 waxes I continually did not like the way in which the owner, Alessandra, treated me. She was rude and did not make me feel like a valued customer. Often times she was just disrespectful. I didn’t feel the need to continue driving that far to be treated that way.

The owner is very personable and makes a usually unpleasant experience tolerable. She is the best!

This place was great, made an appt. same day. Very professional and when I mentioned that I tend to bruise and have sensitive skin, she was very attentive and used the hard wax which was light years better than any other wax I had ever had. I will go back for sure.

First let me say that this was my second time getting waxed in my life. The first was horrible and I didn’t think I would get another one. I just love Unilocal!Reading the reviews I felt that this would be a positive experience and it was. I love the owner. She was very warm and kind. She made a very uncomfortable and painful experience bearable. The receptionist and follow-​up were the icing. My only con was that there was still hair left. My first experience elsewhere left me very bare .

I used my groupon and got waxed by the owner Alessandra. My experience went very well. She uses hard wax which is the only wax I use for Brazilian waxes. She made sure she got every hair. Would definitely go back. By the way she is brazilian herself

Let’s be honest, getting body hair ripped out isn’t the most fun thing on your to do list — but this place makes it palatable. It’s not super visible from the street, FYI, but once you’re in the lot it’s easy to see. Clean, calm, and the owner makes you comfortable. She trained in Brazil and knows her stuff. I’ll go back– and for a waxing spot, that’s good.

Alessandra is incredibly professional and friendly. The salon is always very clean. She works quickly but carefully to minimize any discomfort during the waxing process. She is also very thorough which is very appreciated.

Yes, Brazilians are painful. I don’t know if it was the proprietary wax blend they mix in-​house or the fact that the aesthetician was that great, maybe both, but either way, one of the easiest, least painful Brazilians I’ve received to date.

I will say the location itself is a bit hidden like the gem it is. I’m sure they will need a second location soon & hopefully it will be easier for walk-​in/​new clients to find.

I had been getting waxed by Alessandra for about 2.5 years before i moved away, but she is BEYOND amazing and the best. She offers an amazing price for an amazing experience. I have gotten brazilians every month by her and add in some underarms if necessary.
She is extremely thorough and uses hard wax, which is SO much better than the paper that irritates your skin. She really cares for all her clients and always asks about your comfort level.
She is professional and the room is always clean. I was going to her when she just had one room and now her business has grown SO much and I am so happy for her.
Make sure to use her point card to get discounts off future waxings, it is worth it! It is a small parking lot outside her building, but I have never had trouble finding a spot. Make sure to call or schedule online for an appointment. She is extremely accommodating.
I absolutely miss her and wish I could bring her back with me to San Francisco. I recommended her to all my friends.

I have been here twice and both times the experiences has been good. I had my first Brazilian with Christina and the second with Alessandra … Both in my opinion did a good job. It’s a bit more then what I am use to paying for but it’s 5 mins from my place so I can’t complain to much. The office is super clean and the wax job was almost spot-​free … Surely will be going back!

I starting going here almost a year ago and I have never been disappointed. Alex is a godsend. She is thorough, professional, and knowledgeable which makes the waxing experience as pleasant as it can possibly be. I was tempted not to write a review because I didn’t want her to get too busy for me! I know, I know I am ashamed at my selfishness. The prices are very reasonable and they also provide a reminder phone call for upcoming appointments for those of us who are frequently forgetful. The premises are clean and nicely decorated and the rest of the staff is just as courteous and polite as Alex. I will never let anyone else touch my hoohaa;-)

Alessandra is truly the best person for your hair removal needs. She’s extremely knowledgeable and personable. She does a very meticulous job ensuring that each and every hair has been removed.

The salon is fairly new and the owner (I forgot her name!) is very friendly and does a meticulous job.
I received several brazilian waxes from her last year when I was pregnant with my second child. I received services from the beginning of my pregnancy until just a few weeks before my due date. She was very sensitive to my needs, providing pillows and extra support when my tummy was getting bigger and it was more uncomfortable for me to lie down flat on my back.
Regarding the pain — it is hard for me to comment on this because I think it has a lot to do with how much hair growth you have and how coarse the hair is, not to mention your personal pain tolerance and how sensitive you are in the genital area.
I’m more sensitive down there when pregnant, so it was painful. On the other hand, it was nothing compared to giving child birth and I was very please with how thorough the waxing was (in previous experiences I’ve had to pluck stray hairs, which I think hurts more).
Overall, I highly recommend.
