The Empty Stocking Fund is a non-profit organization bringing holiday cheer to metro Atlanta’s underprivileged children by providing their parents and guardians with an opportunity to give their children gifts at Christmas time.
Through donations from our corporate sponsors and individuals, and relationships with wholesale distributors, we are able to purchase brand new items items for these children.
In December, we invite parents and guardians of children from birth to 12 years of age that are qualified to receive certain benefits through the Department of Family and Children Services to visit Santa’s Village and select gifts for their children.

Established in 1927.
The origin of The Empty Stocking Fund is unclear. We do know that it’s founding was based on a group of people wanting to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged children. We continue to do that today, with the help of our much appreciated donors.
