History

Established in 2013.

Finishing up a 20 year career with Kraft Foods, as a Customer Service Manager in an Atlanta area Distribution Center, I decided to step away from Corporate America and strike out on my own as a small business owner. After looking into several different opportunities, I settled on The BrickKicker. It seemed to be the perfect marriage of the things that I was interested in and the skills I had developed over time. Combining some custom home building experience, from my early work history, a natural curiosity about the eternal questions of «how?» and «why?», and the extensive experience I had gained from a long and fruitful career with Kraft was the answer I had been looking for. I’m finally in charge of my professional destiny, meeting new people, and building lasting business relationships. I look forward meeting you and discussing how my services can make you feel more confident about the home you’re about to purchase.

Meet the Business Owner

Kevin H.

Business Owner

Very soon after being released from active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps, in support of Desert Storm, I purchased a home in the rural suburbs of NE Atlanta. For the next 13 years, I continued to work for a Fortune 500 company and participate in those Rockwell-ian suburban past times of home/yard improvements, barbecues, coaching youth sports, and the mandatory discussion of the local pagan religion; SEC Football! A new marriage, and a slight change in priorities, found me pulling up stakes and moving from my comfortable, suburban Shangri-La directly into the Downtown area of Atlanta proper. The pace is a little faster, but let’s be honest, that’s still measured on a distinctly Southern scale. The central location has allowed us to maintain our established friendships and acquaintances, as well as offer tons of opportunities to meet a more diverse cross section of Atlanta’s «New South» population.
