It was a very quick and easy process, which is a typically a big plus, because waiting for an oil change is right up there with watching paint dry… but they were a little pushy and it wasn’t quick for the right reasons. They insisted I needed new windshield wipers, even though mine are fairly new. They insisted I needed to change my air filter (I didn’t, had it done at the last oil change). I had to say no more than once and that really, really annoys me. Mostly, it was a bit unprofessional — no one likes to spend their money and pay people for services only to think they’re jacking around, right? The guys were carrying on in the garage, singing, dancing, telling loud jokes, and I NEVER saw them working on my car so I’m not sure when they got that done, but the customer service was unprofessional. They were behaving like they were in a bar. Not going back. Fast, but that’s not enough.

2 stars for fast. 0 for poor customer service skills at this shop.
Sure, I went over my mileage and I am a woman but the tone in his voice and over-​all way of speaking to me made me make a mental note to never come here again. No one wants to be scolded by a complete stranger especially if you are paying them for a service.
Next time perhaps the attendant will ask pertinent questions and the car will be serviced correctly and they wont feel the need to badger customers.
It sure would be refreshing to not have to dread getting your oil changed in this male driven field, i always leave feeling taken advantage of.

I stopped in a couple weeks back to get my oil changed, and had a minor squeak that the manager James said needed attention. He gladly checked the steering mechanisms on my car, lubed them appropriately, and I went on my merry way.
Yesterday, I noticed another squeak that was more prominent, so I swung by there on my way home this afternoon. James pulled it in, realized there was a bushing that needed some grease on it, and took care of it for me at no additional charge. He also informed me that it needed to be repaired in the near future and recommended a shop that could take care of it for me at a relatively decent price.
A thanks and a handshake finished up my excellent experience here, and I went on my merry way squeak free ready for my trip to VA tomorrow. These guys deserve a gold medal for their friendly service and honesty.

STAY AWAY! DO NOT GO HERE !! My wife took our 2005 Honda Odyssey here for a basic oil change. They upsold her a transmission change and refill claiming the trans fluid was black. We had the transmission oil changed 2 months before and it was perfect and did NOT need a change!!! They showed her some bogus dark oil and claimed that’s what was in there, mind you it was in some community container were all the old trans oil goes in.
It was too late and $ 80 down the drain no pun intended.

Pretty irritated at this place. Called about an hour before I went in to get a quote for a basic oil change, and the guy said $ 26.99. I chose this place because others quoted me over $ 30.
So I get there and the oil change is $ 26.99 with an EXTRA shop fee of $ 3 and an EXTRA oil filter fee of $ 5. WTF?! So $ 26.99 is basically just a random number they use to get people in the door?
I had to turn into an angry bulldog to get them to lower the price, but it wasn’t easy.
I was quite peeved.
Then they came in twice trying to upsell me with other things. Grrrrh!
Anyway, I will give them 2 stars for being super quick (under 15 minutes) and still friendly after I bit their heads off.
Just put your bulldog face on before you go.

Mike is the location’s manager and he is wonderful. Everyone there is super friendly and fast in their work. I needed a tune-​up for my 2000 mercury cougar and another shop couldn’t fit me in until 4 days later, but here at Texaco Xpress Lube in Chamblee-​Dunwoody they were able to get it done the same day by 2pm. I go to them for regular oil changes and they they take care of my car and I TRUST THEM, which says A LOT when it comes to mechanics. When they replace anything, they show me the old parts they took out to ensure that I know the work was done and not just assume it was done. Mike also recomends other auto specialist when he can’t do the work, like for the catalytic converter and the AC compressor, he send me to people he trusts and that are reasonable in pricing. I recomend this shop to anyone and everyone.
