Tall Etc

Yeah, not so much.
I am 5’11″ and I love high heels. That means I was wearing capris before they came back in style. Cause I didn’t have a choice. So, imagine my pleasure at finding a store dedicated to me!
Unsure of what was in store, (ha-​ha!) I paid them a visit. I worked in retail for more years then I would like to admit to, so I have an idea of how it works. The price tags generally determine the level of service you should expect. Sometimes you get more (or less) than you expect. Each time I visit, I am ignored. And if I dare to want to try something on the sales poeple act as though I asked to them to try it on for me. (Which happened to me once, and I still wasn’t rude)
Unfortunately, the clothes are not cute. Not at all chic. Not classy. None of that. They are so boring that I can’t imagine anyone with a smidgeon of fashion sense wearing them, with the noted exception of their career-​wear. As a cube dweller, I definitely see potential there. The problem there is the price. For these prices you would expect this store to be in Phipps or VA/​Higlands. But the style makes me think that an orthopedic shoe maker decided to branch out into womens ready wear. Bad idea. Stick with you favorite labels and just keep asking them to carry more for our heights.
Oh! and the jeans! Blggghh! It looked like someone went through a table of overstock Jordache jeans with a bedazzler. Absolutetly no style.

Finding clothes for big and tall men is a no brainier. On the other hand, where’s the love for tall and petite women? Well, at least for tall women there is a solution.
