Delicious food and very cool looking restaurant. We enjoyed everything the restaurant had to offer. Parking can be a problem but it is worth the effort. Highly recommended. Brunch seems to be doing very well although we have not tried it yet

Had lunch here today. We expected a bit of a wait due to Father’s Day. It was very loud. The food was very good. I had a quiche with brussels sprout slaw. She had eggs Benedict. She loved. A suggestion-​my quiche was an individual serving and plenty for one person but on the large plate with the slaw in the cup there was a large area of the plate with nothing on it. I would suggest a small piece of cantaloupe or watermelon and a bigger piece of greenery. Overall experience this visit is average and so a 3.5 star. May return but only on off peak hours.

The place is loud and after waiting 40mins for a table we watched people come in and get served before us… we were very disappointed when we finally got a table nobody acknowledge us for another 15 mins. We got up and walked OUT!

We have never been disappointed with Sun In My Belly. Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch and Dinner has always been exceptional. The changing dessert menu is AHmazing. This spot is hidden away which makes it that much more attractive to us as a quaint place to share a meal. Super busy on the weekends so expect to wait. The atmosphere and décor is so inviting and a lot vintage. You really should go!

We cannot say enough good things about our experience with Sun In My Belly.
Even though our wedding was out of state (Western NC) and the venue staff made things challenging (no kitchen use), Sun In My Belly rose to the occasion. They were professional, extremely kind to us and above all delicious!
We are almost at our one-​year anniversary and friends and family members still tell us how good the food was and ask for recommendations. Our guests have told us it was, «the best wedding food» they’d ever had and that our wedding was one of their, «top three.»
Sun in my Belly truly made the day special for us in so many ways. We are lifelong fans and lucky to live close enough for dinner on a regular basis.

Sun in my Belly catered our wedding in November 2014. The food was amazing (our guest loved it too!). They went above and beyond to give us what we wanted within our budget while not skimping out on taste and presentation. We’ll be spending our anniversary at neighborhood café (did I mention the macaroni, I love their macaroni!). Thanks again SIMB for an amazing, easy and delicious experience!
