Specializing in mentor-​guided, hands-​on instruction in the recording arts including: music production, sound engineering, audio engineering, live-​sound tech, mixing sound, mastering tracks, new media sound, and software specific to the trade including: Pro Tools, Ableton Live, Reason and Logic. Mentors are experienced audio engineers and music producers.

History

Established in 1983.

Recording Connection was started in Hollywood, California. This licensed and accredited school now has locations all throughout the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. This is possible because lessons take place at a real recording studio, not a conventional classroom. Apprentices to the program can learn in a practical and industry-​standard mode by learning directly under their mentors. Curriculum is in-​depth and structured to ensure a good survey of the craft.
