Fascinated as a young child with the designs of beautiful rugs filled with the histories of desert sands and foreign lands, Lucy the Rug Lady began collecting rugs in the early 70’s. Now with space at Antiques & Beyond, she can share her passion and rugs!

Lucy, «The Rug Lady» of MorningSide Rugs & Art has been collecting oriental rugs for 40 years. She specializes in antique to vintage, Persian and Turkish rugs as well as in early to mid 20^th century oil paintings by listed European and American artists. With an eye for intriguing objects as well, her space at Antiques & Beyond has a hand-​picked assortment of eclectic pieces from candlesticks and sconces to fine pieces of antique furniture be it an English Hepplewhite chest or a Hickory leather wingback chair.
