Food was delicious!!! Beautiful presentation also. The drinks are also great! Went on a Thursday night and they gave out complimentary tequila shots :) There was also Latin music and trivia games. I would definitely visit again!

Diners beware! Think twice before going on a Thursday night if you’re with a group of people and plan on having enjoyable conversation. It was«Trivia» night on the patio and the emcee was blasting big hair rock-n-roll music between reading off the trivia questions and answers. It would be easier to have a conversation at the Heretic on a Saturday night! Hard rock music at a Mexican/Latin restaurant? There’s nothing right about this picture. The manager finally gave us the option to move inside… as the wait staff was walking out with our food in hand. The food? The taco shell was stale, the beef had no flavor and the sauce used on chicken burrito and enchiladas was over seasoned. The beans and rice were typical sides for a Mexican joint. The only thing right about the night was our server, He had a great attitude, was attentive and did everything he could to make the best of a bad situation. If you’re on the hunt for Mexican food — explore the many other options available in the surrounding area. You can do better!

I wish I had the chance to review the food, but we never got the chance to eat there. We came on Cinco do Mayo, which was probably out first mistake. The only parking option was valet, which was $ 10. It would have been nice to at least give people the option to self park. Then as we approached the hostess stand, we were told on top of that there was a $ 5 cover charge, just to get put on the list to eat!!! We went to the bar for drinks and asked for Corona’s and were given 2 hot beers fresh out of the box, and that box of beer was never put on ice. It continued to sit on the counter and people were served hot beer. Needless to say, after over an hour of waiting and no table, we left. So we spent $ 20 bucks for parking and a ticket in the door, all we got was hot beer.

Thinking about ATL Burger Week. See ad in CL describing their La Columbian Burger: Chard is a vegetable. Corn is a vegetable. Chard corn is a misspelling. I’ve never been to this restaurant but I have to think, if you can’t spell your ingredients, can I trust you to handle them correctly(deliciously)? Moving on to other burger options.

Random Wednesday with the niece… she wants Mexican, we’re on a schedule and need to stick close to home… hello Las Margaritas! I love the décor btw… all masks and religious stuff, two of my favorites. Plus they have a big patio, blasting lively music and I like that too! So far so good. Menu has lots of yumminess… fun tacos, all of my Cuban favorites, nice assortment of appetizers… but the execution made me sad. My burrito came out on a plate so sizzling hot that my sour cream and guacamole were both melting and bubbling around the edges. The inside was a few strips of over cooked grilled chicken and some very damp yellow rice and beans. Sadness. Salsa that came with the chips was scorching hot, great for my taste buds, but inedible for my mom and niece… luckily the queso was soothing and delish! My mom had some sort of pick your own combo plate… she opted for a chile relleno that was tasty, a pretty decent tamale and the worst ham croqueta I’ve ever encountered. The texture was just waaaaay too fine and the smokiness of the ham was to the point of being artificial. Maybe we all ordered the wrong things but I wouldn’t rush back; despite all of the other seemingly yummy options on the menu. Service slow but friendly and apologetic.

I always like coming here, but I’m a sucker for a cozy local restaurant in a cottage. Today I had the pick 3, beef enchilada, cheese burrito and pork tamales — $ 9.95. My companions tried the lunch buffet and liked it. I would recommend Las Margaritas, espresso for 4 or fewer parties.

An employee of this establishment dosed a drink of a friend when they were there to celebrate a birthday. Go at your own risk, and don’t you dare politely talk about anything going wrong, or you may end up with a mickey in your drink.

Please avoid eating at Los Margaritas on Cheshire Bridge Rd. A dear friend of mine was given a tainted drink there after complaining and receiving a comped meal. Fortunately she was among friends and taken care of when the drugs kicked in, knocking her unconscious.”

A large group of us went here for an early lunch. The service was super friendly and timely but the food wasn’t great. I liked the queso, and I ordered the fajitas. They could have had a little more flavor, although the prices on the menu aren’t bad.

Food sucks, I would whether go to Taco Bell then go to this place. Food is just«blah,» and the owner is a huge douche. And the service SUCKS… Never going back! Ps: The ONLY good thing about this place is the«Crazy Bitch Bingo,» they have on Thursday nights; if I could give it NO stars I WOULD.

Great mexican place. They have a great patio and a large indoor area. They have more authentic mexican food than many of the places around. They had great salsa and chips which were complimentary, and some great burritos. Servers were nice and efficient. We got our meal very quickly. I have no complaints about this place and can’t wait to go back.

Pretty decent place. I am surprised by the low reviews. The drinks and food was great as was the service. The only thing was that they forgot one of our taco and didn’t give us silverware until we asked for it multiple times. Overall, it was a nice hang out place.

There are good Cuban dishes. The Mexican dishes are meh. The wait staff was friendly, and knowledgeable, which gives this place the second star. Not sure we’re returning, because my compadre was insulted about a particular event. We’re in a pretty diverse dining crowd, but he noticed that only certain folks received a complimentary drink. They were all pretty pale in complexion. He asked about it, and the host turned away quickly after saying it was a special Happy Hour event. That killed the mood, so we ended up settling the bill. It’s too bad, the owner seemed more savvy. It was shaping up to be a great weekly dinner spot. How the music switches to EDM around 8:30 was weird, too. It’s a restaurant, not a club.

Here are some questions to answer to help you decide if you should visit Las Margaritas: Do you like tasty but strong drinks? Do you like Latin food? Do you need a big screen to watch the game? Are you looking for a large covered patio area? If you answered«yes» to any of these questions(especially the first) then Las Margaritas will be up your alley. Do you need a wait staff who understands what you’re saying? Do you get frustrated by sometimes having to go to the bar to order another drink/get additional service? Are you looking for a quiet atmosphere? If you answered«yes» to any of these questions, then Las Margaritas is probably not for you. Overall, this is a great drinking spot with some decent Latin cuisine. The twisted margarita has 5 different liquors in it and I recommend doing it with the white sangria instead of the red. Proceed with caution on ordering a second or third.

FOODAINTNOTHINGTOBRAGABOUT. That being said I’m guilty of ordering two egg white veggie omelets. I wish hey had a bigger selection for Sunday brunch, but perhaps my diet restricts the variety they offered(caters to the carnivorous clientele). All you can drink is a nice touch… at first. They went from serving up some delicious mojitos and mimosas to serving nothing but orange juice and minty club soda. NOTOKAY. I’d come again with friends but am in no absolute hurry to go back.

Met three of my friends for brunch yesterday(Sunday). We elected to have the buffet. I was pleased. Chef on duty to make custom omelette or eggs, pancakes, waffles(whatever your heart desires). Vegetables and protein available to choose to add to your custom dish. Selection was vast, diverse(mac and cheese as an example) and pretty darned tasty. For $ 19.95 we had full access to the buffet and 1 ½ hour of unlimited sangrias, mimosas, bloody merry’s, and mojitos. While I wasn’t overly excited about the quality/taste of the drinks-who really cares with that price point. We were done in plenty of time for me to get over my hangover by late evening same day. Do it just for the experience. #DPursuitIsReal #TellingYouWhatIThink

This place was fun, but not awesome. The service was good. Staff here was attentive. But paying for the meal took about as much time as eating the meal. And the burrito I had was not worth the price-point. I had the stuffed crabmeat burrito. I was of the impression it would be, to quote the menu, «real crabmeat baked in a mojo sauce with onions & fresh jalapeños.» It was none of the above. Imitation crabmeat with no life, no spice, and frankly, if the onions and the jalapeños were there, I missed them. But the drinks are where it’s at. This is the real draw. Plenty of crowd pleasers here to help you get your buzz on. People seemed to like the Twister. I had The Boss. Others had the Skinny something-or-orther. All were tasty. However, I wasn’t here to drink.(And as much as I like a good drink, I’m not really into drinking, anyway.)

HOWONEARTHDOESTHISPLACEONLYHAVE2.5STARS? After a fun friday night tasting at Sweetwater Brewery we drove a couple miles away for some dinner. We were welcomed by who appeared to be the manager. He promptly setup our table for 7 on the festive patio. We were enjoying our reasonably priced pitchers of margaritas for $ 28 and $ 3.95 tacos when next thing we know a drummer comes out to play while the waitress sets complimentary shots down for the whole table! Food and drinks were good and we were treated so well…5 stars it is!

Yesterday was my first time at this establishment and while the service was extremely slow, the waitstaff and hostesses were very friendly. Additionally, the food and drinks were good. As I said in the Tip section, do partake in the chips and salsa… Me gusto mucho. The salsa in my mind was great with the perfect notes of spice and citrus. I wanted to try everything on the menu, however, my budget would not allow so I decided to get my usual favorite when visiting a Mexican restaurant, the fajitas, which were damn good!(Am I allowed to say damn?!) Anyway, the steak was tender and it had this sweetness to it, Im thinking teriyaki. The veggies were roasted or grilled to perfection and seasoned just right. Pico de Gallo, yellow saffron rice, and sour cream… I was in food heaven. My friends loved the drinks and strongly recommended the«Twister». I would have given it a 4th star but for a place that was not busy they were too slow for my taste, the restroom felt like a sauna, and I received 3 seperate sets of eating utensils that had food particles on them. That last time I just asked for plastic utensils. Overall, it was good experience.
